Pork wontons: dry and hard (made earlier and reheated?) Egg drop soup: taste like it came from a can. Pork lo mein: this was actually pretty good. Sweet & sour pork: dried out and chewy, heavily breaded. Sesame chicken: soggy, chewy , flavorless. Shrimp with lobster sauce: probably the worst I've ever had. Watery flavor. I've been a long time customer of Hop Feng 2 and normally enjoy the service and food. However, after tonight it has ended. I ordered the house Chow Fun and received Mei Fun. There is a big difference between the two. Chow Fun (which is on their menu), has wide rice noodles in a good sauce. Mei Fun is very skinny rice noodles with hardly any flavor. I called to ask for a credit or a refund but they said I had to come in. I'm not going to spend 30-40 minutes to bring the food back in. I offered to send them a picture but they wouldn't let me do that. I'm attaching a picture of their menu, and a description of the two dishes. New Asian Cuisine will now solely have our patronage. So disappointed. I got dinner from here on 7/3/25 around 7:00pm and it was horrible. This use to be my go to spot when I wanted Egg Foo Young. I drove across town to get this and we ended up throwing everything away. The dumplings and patties were old. Definitely not cooked within at least 8 hours of us getting it. The noodles for the soup were stale and the dumplings were hard to chew. Needless to say, we only ate white rice and gravy then made a sandwich later that evening. Not a good experience so we won't be ordering from here anymore. Gave it 2 stars for the fast service. I guess it was fast because it just needed to be reheated. read more

I had a $60 takeout order, the chicken and broccoli was not appetizing in appearance or taste. I'm sorry to say that I only ate the broccoli I did not eat the chicken. The fried rice was OK pork was a bit fatty. The egg roll was the best part of the meal. The other meals were average . Sadly, I won't be going back for a long while. There are too many better restaurants in the area for food quality, ambience, and service. I have found my "go to" Asian take-out. Their plain wings are perfect! Just the right amount of crisp and juiciness. The slight ginger flavor is excellent. OMG! My wife read the reviews for this place and it more than lived up to expectations. We think it is the best Chinese food we have literally ever had. I wish I would have snapped some pics before we dug in. We both ordered combos. The General Tsao chicken and the Hunan beef. Comes with egg rolls and rice or Lo mein. Everything was 10/10. My wife says it was like she remembered the Chinese she got in New York. The take out containers are Really good quality metal ones not cheap styrofoam. I found this spot because they sold fried crab sticks and I have been searching for a place that sells them since I moved here. They did not disappoint. They were almost better than the ones from back home. I know I jumped the gun in my review but I had to get through my excitement first. Now for the rest of the food! The food was pretty good. It is what you would typically find in a Chinese restaurant. I ordered the crab sticks with shrimp fried rice, large shrimp fried rice, and sesame chicken with plain fried rice. The sesame chicken was pretty good. It did not have a lot of over fried pieces either. Overall this place was pretty good. Even though I had to drive over 20 minutes to get there it was worth it! My regular stop for Chinese take out recently changed management and received a very poor health inspection score, so I was looking for a new place. I remembered someone raving about Hop Feng 2 so I tried it out. I ordered a standard dish of sesame chicken with fried rice and an egg roll. I love egg rolls and it was the first thing I bit into. It tasted off to me and the color was reddish. After my second bite I realized it tasted like seafood. I looked at the menu and saw they have an egg roll and a shrimp egg roll. I'm pretty sure I got a shrimp egg roll. I hate shrimp. After those two bites the rest of the meal had a fishy taste to me. I only ate a quarter of the meal and threw the rest out.
