Cannot recommend. We called ahead to make sure they could handle a group of 30 people and we were assured they could. Now granted the place was not busy but the service was terrible. Took forever to place our drink orders and a long time to receive them. To get our food was too long, it set under the heat lights forever. Chairs were very wobbly; bathrooms were dirty and no toilet paper. We were never offered refills. Food was less than mediocre. It took a very long time to get the bills figured out. Waitress sat at the register at least 30 minutes trying to figure out the bills. No one from the wait staff bothered to help her. read more

My friend and I went in for some drinks and food, it was during Happy Hour which they have some Beer/Liquor on the HH menu. Our Server Chelee is always a delight! She is friendly and always makes us feel like we're ol friends! She checked in on us frequently and always has a smile on her face! For me this is one of the original wing places outside of Anchor Bar in Buffalo, NY. Yes it has always gotten a bad rape but you can't beat their wings. I've been all over the states and I always go back to Hooters. Had the naked flappers (3 mile), pickle chips and fries. The hit spot when you are looking to just chill. This location always seems to get it right for me. The wait staff are on it and even on a Sunday they were on it. We were warmly greeted by a fella that I figured for the manager, then our server seated us, she obviously thought very highly of herself and proceeded to be less than cordial in her service. The beer may have been cold, but it was hard to tell in the glass that had just come out of the dishwasher. The shrimp I ordered were flavored with the General Tso's sauce and they tasted amazing. Big shrimp fried perfectly almost made up for the lackluster service. When I go back, I know exactly which server to avoid, other tables seemed to be having a good time with their servers. I used to eat at Hooters regularly and was excited to be able to stop in here today for what I remembered to be the best boneless wings around. They were far from the best -- I only ate two for fear they weren't safe to eat they were so bad. The fries tasted like cardboard and like the grease hasn't been changed recently. The service was totally fine, no complaints there. The restroom smelled absolutely awful and the exterior made me wonder if the restaurant was still in business because of the level of disrepair. Otherwise the interior ambience was normal for a Hooters. I might visit a different Hooters in the future, but I'll never go back to this one. read more

Came in on a Saturday evening. Not many people there. Makes sense why now. 1. Wings were not good. Overcooked and small. 2. Salad seemed like it was 3 days old 3. Service was terrible. There were three or four waitresses. They spent most of their time leaning up against the bar talking with each other. The only person working with any diligence was the barmaid. I've been a customer, friend of all workers including cooks for years now. And a extreme amount of customers enjoy time in this restaurant, but do not vent their enjoyment on here. Positive statements are barely shared for any business. Negative, upset people complaining about dry roast (yes they are dry & I want moist) and when you order from phone calls, it's made but you are dealing w/a third party to deliver. Some times just the same as every stinkin restaurant, there is one server or food that is not ok on your palete but instead of speaking w/a manager, you decide to leave unhappy. Managers and servers at this Hooters work to deliver :Hooters makes you happy. If you feel service failed you, ask for me and I'll do any I can muster up and alert a manager so you will return again and again. The waitresses try to take care of personal bills with our gratitude and thanks but with no tips, a couple of dollars per hour only provides fuel home. When you come in, please wait at the front, so you are seated for if you decide to sit yourself, each waitress does not know who is your server so you'll wait, cause you didn't wait as asked first on paper. Shake your head about my review, but there is more focus on everything like napkins, meal is ready to deliver, customer wants a ticket, clean a table, silverware, condiments, extra orders, drinks ready, new customers, meal is ready to give, more refills, receipts, new customers, clean another table, another request for more soda, another large number of customers at table, meals are ready again...... These girls have stress to fulfill your request, so a polite tip and a thank you with words in return makes us all happy, you are included. We were fortunate enough to have Ashley as our waiter who was super friendly, attentive, spot on with recommendations, and made sure our drinks never went empty. So this a review of my expierance with the waitress in this picture. To start off I had the philly and it was not good about the consistancy of canned cat food my friend said his burger was not very good either but when we left I left a twenty on the table as a tip and paid on my card at the register. then my friend came to the register to pay his bill and I walked outside and immedately after I walked outside the waitress tried to embarass me to my friend saying I didn't even leave her a tip., first of all that was untrue I had a $25 meal and left a $20 tip but also how unprofessional can you be to try to make someone look bad in front of the people that they brought to your establishment. When I got home I called to let them know that I found that very unprofessional and I don't appreciate it and the manager said the waitress told him that my friend asked if I had tipped, I asked him and he said no why would I ask if you tipped. Needless to say I won't be going back there and I wouldn't recommend it either! read more

Highly disappointed. Fiancée and I were placed at a booth and easily waited 20 minutes for a server to come check on us and it never happened. The booths directly in front of us and behind us were sat and got their drinks; orders...etc and neither of the servers, who passed us multiple times I might add, did not once stop to check on us or see if we needed anything. Staying at the hotel next door on Mother's Day, decided on Hooter's since it was close. Ordered online with ease. Walked over for pick up and waited for order. Only one cook and I observed him following all kitchen precautions. Gloved hands, sanitizing surfaces. They even seal the paper bags. We had dry rub wings, a burger, and queso. I am not a hooters regular by any means but the one near my hotel in Topeka ka met all my needs. I had the roasted wings with garlic habanero rub. Sometimes roasted wings are overcooked, dry and/ or chewy. They came out quick and we're mostly tender. At about $1.50/wing I'd definitively get takeout wings here again. read more

Worst service of any restaurant I've ever been to. Passing through Topeka, saw the Hooters off the highway, thought it would be a great place to eat wings and watch the NFC championship. As soon as we walked in, should have known, the less than enthusiastic hostess that seemed to be bothered that we walked in the door, sat us at a table near the back. Waited for 20 minutes, watching 4 waitresses sit at the front door by the hostess booth not doing anything. For the game tonight I decided to order some take out wings and at first was taken aback by the pricing (nearly 30 dollars for 20 wings), but then got the order home and what we got looked like leftovers from 2 nights ago. The wings came fairly fast and were tasty My wife had a chicken salad and the chicken was large chunks and grilled perfect The girls waitressing were nice, fast, and wore short shorts so you get food and entertainment LOL.
