My husband ordered my food via Uber eats, but he forgot to hit submit. (Mind you I'm 28 weeks pregnant and was pretty hungry...) We LOVE Jason's Deli, we've had them from Las Vegas to Clearwater Florida. We seek them out. Our plan was to go to Cracker Barrel...but my husband saw this and about exploded with excitement. So we went. NBD right? WRONG! Ok...so we get there and are greeted by a rock. And that's not a big deal Bc as long as a rock can take my order that's fine. So I ordered a Gluten Free grilled cheese and tomato soup (my JD's regular). Then I grabbed and cookie and said "I also want this cookie to please!" No response, but I had eye contact. So my husband ordered, then went to pay and she thought I was stealing the cookie. So whatever, I eat the cookie and wait for our food. We get it. No soup. I asked if I was getting my soup and she said "oh, did you Want some?" I decided since I had the cookie I would not get the soup. We weren't charged for it anyways... It gets worse Ok. So I open my grilled cheese to find it was bread with two slices of cheese. NOT grilled. So I take it to the counter and they acted shocked that it wasn't grilled. Ok...I asked for soup also (I mean I was already up there...might as well). My husband eats his sandwich. No grilled Cheese. Finally I get my grilled cheese and soup. And guess what?! It's BARELY grilled. But HEY they added MORE cold cheese! Sigh* I didn't want to argue Bc we needed to get on the road so I ate it. Made me sad. Customer service was 0. Food 0. This place is usually really busy. It's busy because it's good. We almost always go and get the salad bar - it's all you can eat and packed full of delicious, healthy, things to put on a salad. And the chocolate mousse is absolutely decadent. The little bite-size muffins are tasty but I try to avoid them as I'm sure there's nothing redeeming in them. My husband thinks their plain, boring, but organic yellow mustard is the best he's ever tasted. We've never had to wait over 10 minutes in line and the bussers have always been by quickly when we've put empty, used plates out. The last time we went, a very radiant teenage girl took our order and she was one of the few people I've recently encountered who was doing their job really well. She seemed happy to be there and genuinely pleased to be doing a good job in her position - a very rare find in the customer service industry anymore. We've never been to any other location than this one - and we love it. For the price, it's a real bargain and there are enough genuinely healthy items on the menu to make you feel like you're at least trying to do something right with your diet. Jason's Deli is a chain of solid sandwich / soup / salad bar restaurants, and the Topkea location is a very good exemplar. Jason's Deli works a lot like a traditional deli -- there's an ordering counter where you have options of a selection of hot and colds sandwiches made with fresh-sliced meats. Jason's Deli also has a rather good salad bar with many selections for salad, a couple of pasta and potato salad selections, a dozen salad dressings, pudding, pickes, eggs, cornbread muffins and crackers, et c. Honestly, the selection of half-sandwich, chips, and a single salad bar pass will provide any person with more than enough food for lunch or dinner. I'm especially a fan of the green selections, including spinach. On a recent visit, I got a half rueben (which was piled high with thin-sliced corned beef), spicy potato chips, and a salad bar pass. My spinach salad with bacon, bleu cheese, and a couple of hard-boiled eggs, and a cornbread muffin was more than sufficient on its own, and then my monster of a half-sandwich arrived. But, since I'm a remorseless eating machine, I also finished up with an ice-cream cone. read more

Probably visit this location about 4-5 times a year. A great place to meet friends. You never feel rushed to leave and easy to get drink refills on your own. Yesterday I tried the Muffaletta. The quarter size was huge! I probably only had 2/3rds of it and my lunch friend had the other 1/3rd. I thought this version was fresher and tastier than the original version in the French Quarter (or maybe I was there on a bad day). Had a side salad because I was uncertain of my sandwich order (which turned out to be great). Loved all the fresh veggies and toppings. Generous side bowl for the one-trip version. We always go in for the salad bar... a little pricy but can't go wrong with the food. My daughter and I went in late around 8pm. We were the only ones in the restaurant. There were about 6-8 employees and they helped us quickly at the counter. All was good... They didn't have to cook for us, we just got the salad bar, My complaint is with the lack of cleanliness of the restaurant...it was gross. We were the only customers and we struggled to find a clean table or seat. With 6-8 employees at 8pm in the evening? Send them out to clean please! Normally we love goin to this place but today was a game changer I order from there this morning for lunch and I ordered the same sandwich as always and they brought it out to me and it just seem like there was much in there so I opened it too see and this sandwich had hardly any meat in it because in the description it had two different meats and it was supposed to be 3/4 lb of meat but it looked bout half of that so I took it back in and the young man said he would take care of it but then this lady came over and said it was correct but I told her I've ordered this sandwich many times and it didn't look the same so she wasn't goin to go the extra mile for a customer cause I guess there busy enough that one customer didn't mean shit to them so if anyone is planning on goin there you might want to go elsewhere cause she didn't care if I was goin to eat there or not so I got my money back and she went on her way with not a care in the world too bad I was just trying to do my part and support a local business I hope upper management sees this and does something about it or this crisis won't help them a bit. 7858064272 read more

I went there at lunch time on a Friday. It was a little busy but was able to get right in and find a seat. I had the salad bar. For the cost it was ok. If it was a dollar cheaper I would be a bigger fan. Everything was fresh on the salad bar. There was even hummis which was a surprise. The chocolate mousse has been mentioned in previous reviews and that was really good. People have mentioned the free ice cream... it isn't ice cream.. it's more like ice milk. Was in the mood for a salad and decided to head to Jason's Deli. I forgot about my past experience couple of years ago. The cost was over seven dollars. Then if you wanted turkey, ham, chicken or other meat for the salad add another 1.75. Then for a sweet tea and the next thing you know your over eleven dollars. The salad bar itself is so-so for the cost. I would recommend Coyote Canyon salad bar over Jason's. The cost is cheaper and there's a better selection in my opinion. The only thing Jason's had that Coyote Canyon doesn't is Dorothy Lynch salad dressing. Hopefully in two years when I think a salad at Jason's would be a good idea I'll do a better job remembering this experience. First the good, the food is consistent and tasty. The portions, more than adequate. The bad, in fairness I use the Yelp app and this may have impacted the service. I arrived 2 minutes before time indicated on the app and waited another 30 minutes to get my food. When I arrived it was difficult to even get the staff to check if my order was received and since it was prepaid this was concerning. After waiting 10 minutes they finally located the order which hadn't been started. I waited an additional 20 minutes for the food. Another person was having the same difficulty and he called his order in, so consider this as well. I was offered a drink while I waited, but no other compensation. Horrible all around experience. I placed an order online. It took OVER 2 HOURS to get here. The food was COLD. It appears they had it ready 2 hours ago, then just let it sit for 2 hours before delivering it. Then parts of the order weren't included. The sandwich was supposed to include chips and a drink, verified on the receipt, which weren't included. The "taco" salad was just lettuce, tomato, and cheese (salad) on top of tortilla chips. It was supposed to have chicken chili on it (thus making it "taco" salad rather than lettuce on tortilla chips) also verified on the receipt. So I called to complain/inform them. They apologized and said they would send replacements. So I waited, and waited, and waited. They never even bothered to send them. Any one of those problems (2 hours, cold food, missing items) would have been redeemable/correctable. However all 3 is just a Massive Failure. Then to top it off they even fail in correcting the problems. Telling me they will replace it, and then just leaving me waiting for them to Never show up. Now they reached the point of being irredeemable. read more

This place was a pleasant surprise after a long day of driving back east from Colorado. The hot corned beef on rye was excellent and my kids liked the Cal turkey club. Basically, you order at the counter similar to Panera, and you fill your own soft drink and take a seat. You put your number in view and they bring the food out to you.
