Great location right off 287. Walked in and sat at the bar. I think you just sit wherever you want. Felt really bad for my waitress/bartender Liz. She was the only one working and taking care of everyone at the bar and tables. Hopefully they can get at least another to help out. Ordered hooters original style wings and chips and queso. Really do love the wings great flavor and crunch. And the chips and queso love the peppers in the cheese sauce gives it great flavor and heat. I do like this location feels very modern and updated. Though they need someone to come in and work on their screens I asked to watch some anime on the big screen but she said it was stuck in the picture all day. Maybe next time in. I think I'll try a burger next. If want a nice location for wings and a drink. Definitely stop on by. For wings, we ended up getting 3 orders of the 6 pieces Bone in to share between us which the flavors were Daytona Beach, Medium Buffalo and the Dry Rub Lemon Pepper along with some curly fries and tater tots. I know I know what you're thinking! All these carbs to start 2022 and the answer is yess!! lol The girls agreed that the favorite was the Lemon Pepper because it had the most flavor followed by the Daytona Beach and the the Medium Buffalo. The color of the Medium Buffalo definitely threw us off a bit since they were orange and funny enough the Daytona Beach were the reddish color we were expecting. But overall, they were good and so were both fry orders. I did like how nicely the place was decorated, looked super clean and the tables appeared to be spaced out. The place is an unmitigated disaster. I can't believe I'm giving it a second star. The grumpy owner/manager berated the waitstaff on the floor. The food took forever to come in a restaurant to hosted no more than five parties, three of which were drinking perched at the bar. Our waitress forgot to bring out our pretzel appetizer because by the time it came out, the nuggets were rock hard and the beer 'sauce' was a congealed mass. To be fair she did quickly bring out a replacement that was somewhat more palatable. The chicken caesar salad came out with no chicken. The wings smelled of old oil. The chicken on a chicken sandwich was stringy and dry. On the plus side, the fountain drinks were good as were the curly fries and the tater tots were flawless. For the AYCE, they allow you to mix and match the original wings and naked wings with each new order so my recommendation is to start with the naked wings and then with the next refill, try the original breaded wings which tends to be heavier! My favorite flavor is the parmesan garlic and the chipotle honey!! For someone who can't take super spicy things, the chipotle honey had just the perfect kick. It wasn't super busy but we had to wait a bit for service and our food. We ordered up our usual. Curly fries, onion rings, and tots and we ordered 40 wings. It was happy hour 4-7 on Friday and you get 20 wings for the price of 10. Great deal . Also $1 off draft beers. We definitely got defeated but we enjoyed our meal. It took forever for the server to come greet us and then finally when the server came and took our drink order it took at least 40 mins to get our drink. I sent my food back 3 times for them to get it right and they still didn't. I eventually ended up sending it back and not eating dinner. This is how the service is here! This Hooters location is different from what a traditional Hooters is like. You don't feel like you're in a traditional Hooters. It has a modern look and feel to it. The plates you get are silver and made of metal (not the usual wood-looking ones) and the cups are neon orange and ugly as hell. If you come here expecting to sit at the bar to watch a game, try somewhere else. The bar is a tad small. If you don't care about that you can sit at any table to watch whatever. There are many TV's all over the walls. It was around 45-50 degrees the day I went so it was super nice out. But inside all the employees were wearing sweatshirts. It wasn't chilly nor cold inside. They should at least be wearing long sleeves underneath their uniform not hoodies. Now, the wings here are smaller than other Hooters locations and they could have been covered in more sauce. I think they just drizzled the sauce on top of the wings instead of tossing them in a bowl. When we asked our waitress about the grilled wings she stated that they didn't have them yet but outside on the windows they advertised grilled wings. That doesn't make sense. From a management point of view, that is misleading and they shouldn't have been advertised. We also got some appetizers which were as good as expected. I should also point out that my father ordered iced tea but it was more like water with a hint of tea flavor. When we told our waitress about it and she gladly brought out a new one but it was nothing different so we sent it back. Needless to say, we won't be back to this location. P.S. This has got to be the worst Hooters I've ever been to. Ranch and Blue Cheese sauces both tasted expired. Beer was flat and when I asked for a bottle they were out. Bartender was more engaged with her cell than her bar. Waited a good 15-20 mins for my food and then another 15-20 for my tab. We chose this Hooters because we needed a new location to watch the football game on Sunday. The waitress was super friendly and helpful with any questions we had about the menu and the food was actually good. I have had other Hooters experiences that have completely grossed me out but I felt very comfortable bringing my grandparents here for a few hours on football Sunday. Went there Monday July 3. Hardly anyone in the place. Bartender was concerned mostly about her friends at table. Bill came to 36 bucks and plastic was put on table to pay. When the bartender took it I felt relieved that this place wouldn't be like others that charge the foolish 3 % cover charge for their whining about paying service fees to Visa. Not their fault they say.... I find it insulting. Anyway - the bartender rang things thru and I mentioned I was relieved to not have to pay the silly fee. She said - oh you do it's here - was extremely small and a bummer for me to see they had charged the 1.21 extra for their troubles. I told her I have cash and if she could - please take the charge and void it out - whatever she needed to do to cancel it, and I'll pay the cash. Matter of principle to me. She said - oh I can't it's way too late. So I said - ok no problem... and the tip which would've been 18% became 8%. I thanked her and left - not to return. These restaurants were complaining they lost business during covid - but were bailed out big time. Too bad they got greedy sand are joining forces to screw the customers. With that in mind instead of doing a promotion that will bring in more customers.... they; - made the happy hour special "boneless" wings only (little kids eat boneless wings) - if you order a burger you get 2 sides of beans and have to pay extra for fries. These are 2 things I found on this, my last, trip to hooters. We will not be returning.... there are a hundred other places that serve wings and run great promos....... not to mention Hooters novelty USED to be hot waitresses.
