Totally forgot to take pics but popped in for a quick lunch prior to a driving experience at TD Field and had a great meal overall. I hadn't been to an Applebees in a really long time so I wasn't sure what to expect as things can change over the course of time and they did, but in a good way as their menu was revamped with new entrees and specials. We had the combo sampler and I had the quesadilla salad and my bf had a fried chicken sandwich. All food was yummy and well prepared and we both had leftovers to take home. Our server was also great and the restaurant appears to have been remodeled too. Overall a solid lunch. read more

I visited this Applebee's on 03/09/26 for a short celebration of life. Everyone was really nice the waitress and the manager Randy. When my food was brought out it had season scatter over it which wasn't on the picture or mention in the description on the menu. But the manager was so nice he immediately took it back and brought me out another one, but what really makes him a good manager is he remove my order from the tab. I wasn't expecting that. Applebees really is your neighborhood bar. Sometimes you may have to turn around and come back when there is room at the bar. We may or may not have done that ourselves rather than sitting elsewhere. The bartenders are very attentive, and I figured out my go to dinner there which is the full rack with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The chicken quesadillas are also worth ordering. They have a few beers on tap including (and consistently) Blue Moon. There are multiple tv screens in the bar area which have different games playing at the same time. Additionally, come on the right day, and you might find yourself as part of the karaoke crew. read more

giving 2 stars only because our food was on point -- this is my second time having Felicia the bartender as my server. the first time I came and sat at the bar alone, and all night long all she did was tend to people she obviously knew. she was unfriendly, didn't even check in to see how I was doing, if I maybe wanted a second drink (I was only able to order the one drink before she rudely put my bill down in front of me and walked away), if I wanted dessert (which I did but again, was rushed out with my bill placed in front of me, which doesn't make you feel like you are welcomed at all..) so I left disappointed and had to go across the lot to spend money at mcdonald's for a dessert there.. terrible customer service. Meanwhile the whole night while I was there she made sure to tend to the groups she knew already, providing them with endless service as well. i'm sure they were able to feel welcomed and were able to enjoy themselves.. lucky them. Fast forward to last night, my fiancée joined me for dinner and we went over to applebees. He wasn't with me the first time, so he was unaware of how poorly she was as a bartender, as we are both bar people and bartenders at that, so we prefer to sit at the bar. Whatever, that's cool with me. Once again? she gave out the exact same service. POOR service and POOR, unfriendly attitude. The whole time she tended to two groups that she obviously knew, being friendly, accommodating them, checking in on them regularly. My fiancé and I? didn't get asked if we were okay until AFTER we finished our appetizer, didn't check to see if we wanted another round of drinks, didn't ask us if we wanted to see a dessert menu (which we wanted), when he asked for a box after she could see we were finished, she rudely put the smallest box ever in front of us without a word. so my fiancé had to awkwardly ask her "maybe can we possibly get another box as well..? I didn't know they were this small." Meanwhile she saw what we had to take home, and decided to throw the smallest box ever on the countertop without saying anything. Then once again? prints the bill and puts it in front of us and walks away so she can go and talk to the other group again. I'll never come back to that bar again to receive service from her, she's very unfriendly, and I guess you only get service if you know her. If I was to ever come back to this location i'll be sure to grab a table instead. Bigger check amounts mean bigger tips as well but I guess she doesn't know that. I came across on an incompetent Manager that couldn't even pleased us on a simple request. (Table selection). Mind you that there were only 4 other tables being used in the whole restaurant. Keep this in mind my party is at the restaurant there and now to spend the $$ and not worried about what could happen or who knows who else will come in to use the table we requested at the time. Very consistent menu, stays pretty much the same but what they do right...stays right. Winning, can't go wrong on most of the menu. The food was 'okay'. My kids and I were starving on our way home from my office, and I saw a sign for Applebee's. I hadn't been there in years and assumed there would be something we would all like. It was Saturday evening and pretty busy, not a bad sign, right? I immediately was not thrilled with the menu. Most things that I would like, seafood, steak, etc, are blackened, peppered, or spicy, none of which any of us like. To start off with drinks, we each had water, and my daughter's got a Strawberry Mango Smoothy, which they each enjoyed. There is a bar and lots of seemingly fun drinks, but I didn't order any. I ordered the Pretzels and Beer Cheese for us to share, and those were decent. I ordered the double crunch shrimp and replaced the fries with loaded garlic mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were the best part of that meal. The shrimp were okay, they seemed more like something that you could buy frozen in a box from the grocery store. It was supposed to come with cocktail sauce, but only the tarter sauce and coleslaw came. After asking, the waitress, who was very accommodating, brought it over. My youngest ordered the adult portion of chicken tenders, they were also okay. My 11 year old ordered the sirloin and requested none of the spicy seasoning. They were able to accommodate, but I noticed she was not asked how she would like her steak cooked (we prefer medium rare) I don't say anything because maybe that's how chain restaurants are? The steak came out very well done (not in a good way), and there was a hair on the plate. The waitress offers to take it back and get us a new one. The manager Randy came over, he was very nice and apologetic. He told us the steak would be on the house, the next steak came out cooked again too well done. When I see the receipt online, it says something like cooked, no pink. I am guessing an assumption was made that my daughter would want a well-done steak? By the time my daughter's second well-done dry steak comes out, my other daughter and I are already done eating. My daughter ordered the triple chocolate meltdown to go and did enjoy that when we got home. Overall, everything was okay, but most likely, I would not go back. read more

I've been coming to this location for years since it opened and I'm just now finally writing a review. It's a nice neighborhood spot to get something to eat/drink and hang out with friends. Sometimes I stop for lunch, sometimes dinner, and sometimes after 10pm for the half price apps(Love the pretzels with the beer cheese!) Today my friend and I stopped by for a weekday lunch. She had some chicken and pasta dish that she liked and I had one of their lunch combos that included half of their Clubhouse Grill sandwich and a side of their 4 cheese Mac and cheese with honey pepper chicken tenders. It was pretty good and the portion was perfect for lunch. Service was great we got checked in on often and the manager also stopped by to see how everything was. I ordered carry out: the quesadilla burger, onion rings and I don't even remember the name of the burger I ordered for my husband. My husband and I went to the Bridgewater Applebee's yesterday, 7/9/22, for a meal which was served to us by Emma - a very friendly, helpful & competent, server. She was a pleasure to deal with and knew the menu very well. I must also mention that my husband has a balance problem and when we were leaving he became very unsteady on his feet. Daniel, another server, came to us and helped my husband sit down to recoup and then helped us out to the car. This was very helpful and thoughtful to us and Daniel should be recognized for his compassion and going beyond what he needed to do. These type of employees are a credit to Applebee's. I used to frequent Applebee's every weekend when I was in high school and late nights when I was in college. Then I stopped going. I think it was because the last time I went, I just had very over-salted food. Anyhow, it was a co-worker's birthday so I found myself at the Bridgewater Applebee's. I have to say I has such a pleasant experience and I was not expecting that at all. The service was awesome. The waitress was super attentive and accommodating. Their Spin dip is still one of the best I've had. When I taste it, it just brings back the nostalgic memories of when I was younger and broke lol. I tried their new Brunch Burger and it was pretty awesome. I thought the addition of the hashbrowns to the burger was genius! Also, they had a deal where all burgers were $7.99. What value! My co-workers and I order from the Bridgewater location about 1-2 times a week. Last week, I ordered the oriental chicken salad as part of my lunch combo and found a strand of blonde hair in it. I have black hair so it's not mine. I had to chuck the whole thing in the trash. This week, I ordered the Four Cheese Mac and Cheese with Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders as part of my 2 Signature Dish combo. There were no chicken tenders at all and there was literally 5 shreds of cheddar cheese on top. Quality is really lacking from this place. If you order food from here for delivery, I would say expect that at least half the time you order, something will be missing or you will find hair in your food. Lots of empty tables and there is a wait!!!!!!! 2 couples seated 1 waiting, then my party, then a girl walks in behind me. Hostess has zero clue how to do her job. Not taking names. Waitresses keep walking up and checking why people are waiting. One of the 2 couples that is waiting gets seated. They take my parties name but not the one ahead of us. Guy comes from the back and apparently is another host. Or maybe it's cause h saw a pretty girl and can't control himself. Needless to say the 4th person on the list who has 2 other people in her party now gets seated before us!!!! Now the hostess with the glazed look in her eye doesn't know who's next. Why as the customer do I know the order of people who came in and you don't! Yeah. This place sucks when it comes to getting customers seated. Try following this simple method. First come first served. As I mentioned before. The waitress was awesome. Knows her job. Knows how to do it. And does it very very well. Probably the first time I've had a drink brought to me right as I finished my first one. Food was ok. If your into spicy don't go by there menu. The spicy Texas bbq sauce is as spicy as milk. Monday night after some intense appliance shopping (toaster), we needed a to get a bite to eat. The Applebee's in Bridgewater was nearby. Although we have had some less than stellar experiences a while ago we decided the convenience was appealing and we would give them a try. I was surprised to see an empty bar while Monday night football was on and the Giants were playing. Only a half dozen tables were occupied. Our waiter was great. He explained that they were offering happy hour discounts on draft beer and we took advantage of that. He also advised us that burgers were on special so we ordered burgers and fries. We received both burgers perfectly cooked and delicious. I realize that the chef probably was not rushing a lot of other orders was able to give our order full attention but the reason doesn't matter. The chef at Applebee's did what so many other's can't do. He cooked a burger, medium for my wife and one medium rare for me, both to perfection. I will certainly return and recommend that you give them a try on Monday night when the prices are discounted and you get lots of attention. read more

Now, the sauce. Yes. I kid you not. There was a HAIR in my lemon. How do you even manage that? Came here on a Tuesday night and it was about 25% filled. Not that many people. We were not greeted with a smile, more like attitude. Our waitress was wonderful though. Ordered some drinks, appetizers, salads And a steak. I gotta say nothing came out fast, slightly dragged on a bit, thankfully we weren't in a rush. The onion soup was typical, pretty good. It is an ok place to grab a bite but often is not as quick as it should be. The prices are fairly standard for this type of restaurant. The food is ok, but nothing I have had there was magnificent. My daughter and son in law wanted to take me out Saturday for Father's day and asked where I wanted to go.i said Applebee's because I've been coming here in Bridgewater since they opened. The last few times the food was ok but not nearly what I was use to having here. Well last night it was terrible. I suggested to my SIL to get the Whiskey burger. When the food came I looked at my plate and there was half the fries I was use too having here. Usually I have a hard time biting into it not this time I don't know what it was missing but I Usually have to press the burger down to be able to bite it. The burgers were tasteless, no kidding. We had to dump salt, pepper and ketchup to get a taste of something. We both agreed we had better burgers at Burger King. This place is going down hill. At 530pm and the place was half empty. Not worth the $16 paid for. If you want a good burger, try Habit Burger on the other side of 22. Very disappointing and embarrassing I suggested going there. Our appetizer never came, and our server never even apologized. I get it, mistakes happen, but own up to it. Then when our food came, the fries were cold, not, not hot, but cold. I ordered a meal that came with refills and every time I needed anything I had to flag the server down. My water sat empty, we had no napkins, and well needless to say I'll take my money somewhere that appreciates their customers. This was more than likely my last visit to any Applebee's ever. We will return soon. I went to the Milltown Applebees not long ago and ordered shrimp Frajitas, the same meal I had at the Bridgewater location. To my surprise it was not good. Mostly rice, fewer shrimp, less toppings. So I suppose different restaurants of the same chain can be good or bad. Thumbs up for the Bridgewater location.
