We ordered wings to be ready at 6pm. I arrived at restaurant to find wings were prepared and ready an hour earlier. They only gave me a refund with no explanation or attempt to make it right. (We've had service issues at this location in the past, even before the shortage in the workforce.) I received a call from the owner a few days later after giving negative feedback. He said he would use my experience as a learning tool for his employees and did not offer any form of reconciliation. The parking lot was pretty empty, which I found strange. We went inside and were told that it would be at least 5 minutes before we could possibly be seated, despite a nearly empty dining room. When we finally did get seated, more than 10 minutes later, we passed no less than 8 dirty tables that had not been cleared. We sat down for a minute and then just decided to leave after looking around. No wonder the parking lot was empty. There were open tables, but we never got seated. We attempted again today and got seated right away. After 17 minutes in our booth and no one waiting on us we decided to leave. Not a good experience. We waited 40 minutes for food and the restaurant was not busy. The Buffalo chicken in the salad first came out grilled not fried and then was missing the Buffalo sauce so waited even longer. Then I was charged extra for the sauce. I am not sure if this is a new location (we made a pit stop on our way to Michigan) but it looks brand new and is a really updated Hooters. It was super clean and they had a nice patio section. I was very disappointed with the food. I ordered a taco salad and it was the worst I ever ate. It was made with mostly cabbage. I couldn't eat it. The decor is nice and the girls were attentive. I have been to this Hooters establishment before for lunch and to watch sporting events. Expensive, but family and friends have enjoyed. My rating today is ONE STAR as there is not a ZERO Star rating available. Management is terrible and has no appreciation for the customers or quality of service. Onsite Management today did not appear to even understand what that is. Working staff have no courtesy for the patrons and not a care with regards to customer service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this Hooters establishment until management changes have been implemented. It felt dirty, service was slow, and food wasn't great. Went back today with another couple and their daughter...and it was worse. Ordered sangria...dead fruit fly in drink. Forgot my wife's fries. Had two orders of shrimp...both ice cold. Kids order of plain wings...came out with sauce. EVERYBODY'S fries were cold. They were cold bc they probably were sitting there for awhile bc the place was empty. After the waitress fixed all the food that was messed up, she informed us that she's brining us our check while we are eating because her shift be over and it be shift change. I would give ZERO stars if possible ~ Four of us stopped in Saturday at 10:00 PM for some drinks and appetizers. The brand new restaurant building was the only thing going for it. They were not busy and no one was at the door to seat us. After a little wait we got seated. A waitress approached us and introduced herself. She asked if we wanted drinks. One us of ordered soda and two ordered the Perfect Margarita (which proved not to be so PERFECT) and one wanted bourbon. Server did not know what bourbons they offered so she left to find out. After several minutes came back and the last drink was ordered and a bowl of chili and nachos. The other two in our party were not quite ready to order so she excused herself. Ten minutes later she still didn't come back to the table and that is when we saw her singing Happy Birthday to a customer with about 8 other servers. (Seems like servers that have tables should be excused from singing Happy Birthday so they can effectively wait on their tables.) Before the bourbon came to our table a different server brought the greasy nachos and cold chili served in a Styrofoam cup. Yes Styrofoam! Our server showed up with the bourbon drink and I asked why was the chili served in Styrofoam she couldn't answer. She said she would take it back. I also asked her for little plates so we all could share the nacho appetizer. She came back with the chili, still cold, in a small bowl and no spoon, and forgot the small plates that we had asked for. Again asked for plates and a spoon. She returned with the spoon and a stack of 4 plates. When we were handing the plates out they were dirty. I mean dirty, like fresh ketchup was on them. It was obvious they were used plates that had not been washed. At that point we decided to cut our loses and asked to talk to a manager. A female manager came out and we told her everything that had happened, offered to pay for the drinks we told her we were going to leave. She apologized. It is apparent these servers have had no training and are just left to fend for themselves. Does the kitchen (and servers) think it is ok to serve a bowl of chili in Styrofoam?? How are dirty used plates mistaken for clean ones? Management needs to step up and get some standards in place or it won't be long before this location goes out of business.
