Arrived and sat at a high top in the bar area. Server was friendly. The overall vibe of the restaurant is meh. No one seemed happy to be there - low energy. Which is ok - I'm there to eat. Lol The food was ok. Lots of tots was missing chives and was drowned in sour cream. The wings were good. I love Hooters more for the nostalgia, I guess. read more

This evening I ordered 20 original wings for take-out from this location. I realised something was amiss, when my bag was lighter than usual. My assumption was correct. The wings had gotten ridiculously small - even smaller than wings from Rally's, and they barely had any sauce - despite asking for extra wet. Wings got smaller, but the price didn't. Never again. It's too bad that this location is independently owned, because they deserve to go bankrupt with the rest of the chain. Perhaps, if this type of fuckery continues - they will. read more

It's always a good time at hooters. Super casual setting and casual dining and service. Great place to catch a game or two because they have tvs everywhere. Full bar with cheap drinks. Great selection of beer as well. Buffalo shrimp are good...chicken sandwiches...even the crab legs!!!! I love it, always have. read more

Follow me step by step to my table. Walking up to the door there was a hooter's girl there I opened the door with no greeting (she seemed upset) I was seated by another girl she was friendly. She told me that was like her 2-3 shift. She did ok taking care of me though. But atmosphere was really chill not too many people in there and they had more girls on staff than people so you would've thought you would've witnessed some friendly smiles and convo .... Absolutely NOTHING! The food ..... I mean I know it's chain related food but this was by far the most bland and over cooked food I ever had! The mozzarella sticks were fried so hard that the cheese was oozing out and it was fried hard too. The Daytona wings I ordered were the color of a NFL football and super sweet. Definitely wasn't expecting that. I've had those wings before and that just wasn't it. I was so upset with the food I didn't even take a pic! Let's take a little more time training and applying some love in the kitchen. Happy Yelping! read more

Who is the genius that changed a great menu into one of the worst in this type of restaurant industry? No more wing sauce, they claim the sauce is in the batter, blue cheese is seriously watered down, wings were very dry. Again, thank you for loosing me as a regular custome. read more

This was my first time coming to this location and the food and service was terrible. Our waitress was rude and not attentive. The tater tots were severely over cooked, the fries were soggy, the wings seemed like they were sitting out for a while and were overcooked as well. I tried to mask the taste of the wings with ranch sauce just to find a pube looking hair in the sauce (see picture). I don't know if they were messing with us or this is the usual way they do things but I will never be returning here. I'm writing this review not to bash this location just to make people aware of my experience. read more

This location is horrible. Truly where is management? I go eat tonight with my friend we arrive at 9 we're fast eaters so we planned to be in and out. Order all kinds of stuff pickles were ok snow crab was fine the cheese sticks were terrible cold and old. (I work in a restaurant) I order a marg and specifically say no sweet added. It comes extra sweet. I say hey I need something else this is super sweet. She says "oh the bartenders in a bad mood" like um ok? In a restaurant you don't get to choose when to give good service? But whatever get the next drink and it's terrible I'm like ok it's just time to eat and go. The Burger came out like it was just thawed out from frozen and slapped on a bun. Like every single thing was just absolutely disgusting. My friend wanted a 2nd beer around 9:50 before we get the bill and leave and she said the bartender wouldn't make it???? Excuse me??? These people will never have my business again. SAD read more

I like coming here when i am in the area. Customer service is great and management always seems to be right there with the waitresses. There are other hooter in other states that don't even check on you, when i was at this one the waitress was always ready for refills and asking if we were good also the manager was coming around to check and make sure everything was good. The food was great enough sauce on the wings and hot n fresh. read more

This was my first time visiting the Metairie location. Every time I have been by it, it has looked extremely busy. Looked being key here because it turns out the parking lot is ridiculously small. Not only is the parking lot small, you have to get creative with parking. The parking lot across the road for Panera Bread has signs up saying that you cannot park there unless you are a patron there. On the brightside, there was not a wait on a Saturday night for NFL wildcard weekend. The restaurant was halfway full and there are tons of TV to view. Sweet tea was refreshingly sweet! I ordered fried pickles as an appetizer. They came were hot and fresh and came with Remoulade sauce. The Remoulade sauce gave the pickles a zesty taste. The pickles also had some kind of rub sprinkled on the batter. I almost ate all of the fried pickles myself. I reccomend them. But I wish I could say the same about the circumstances that surrounded my wings. I ordered 6 Daytona Beach wings - extra wet and 6 Smoked Wings tossed in Habanero Texas BBQ. Here is a list of what went wrong and what I did not like: 1. Neither of my wings came extra wet and the Habanero Texas BBQ wings came with no sauce at all. My waitress did rectify the situation quickly, much to her credit. 2. I was charged to have my wings extra wet. The wing places I go to and I believe the Hooters I have been to before did not charge me for my request of my wings being extra wet. 3. I asked for more sauce and was charged for more sauce. 4. My wings were not exactly piping hot. 5. I dont know how but the Ranch tasted awful. I am not against coming back to this Hooters location but compared to other Hooters' locations, this one would go down as my least favorite. Being charged for requesting wings extra wet is ridiculous and then getting the order wrong makes this a 2-star reduction for me than what I would normally rate it. read more

I usually don't really care for the food at Hooters, but we were craving wings yesterday and were pleasantly surprised! The wings were crispy and delicious! We sat at the bar so the food came right out of the fryer to us which might be the key! Two bartenders served us... one was rude but the other was super sweet! read more

The prime example of a poorly managed restaurant that stay's packed only because of branding. Due to COVID-19, there were only 50% of the tables available so there was a 30 minute wait which was understandable and totally reasonable. We waited about 25 minutes and got called for our table being ready. Being a Monday we expected the all you can eat boneless wings, which they don't tell you is not available until you go to order. Again, due to Covid, it's not the end of the world, we just ordered wings off the menu. Once we ordered, we waited 33 minutes for our nachos and fried pickle appetizers, and 2 minutes later came our wings. So our appetizer and wings came out practically at the same time which is never a good practice.(especially when the tables were only half full). The pickles were crispy, tasted good but room temperature. The nachos were super soggy, so my only thought is that the waitress totally forgot to bring them to our table. The wings came out hot but with very little sauce and over cooked. The chicken was pretty dry from being in the fryer for too long. The waitress was atleast very friendly and attentive all our needs, minus the appetizers being 33 minutes from order to table. Needless to say there was nothing too impressive at this Hooters location! read more

We went to go eat and I guess that did not need nor want our business. A car was parked and obviously over the line into the handicap spot and I have handicap licenses. So I tried to park and would obviously go over into the deck area/are in which if I were to have to put a ramp down it would have had difficult. Guy comes out restaurant and tells me if we are staying I need to be careful because they issues tickets. Well where was the ticket for the lady whom parked over the lines into my spot. I've been to A LOT of Hooter's locations throughout my years, and I haven't seen one this busy in quite some time. At 2pm on a Friday, this place was absolutely packed. Great service at the bar which overlooks the kitchen area. I've got to hand it to the cooks, they we working hard to keep up with action. I've been a huge fan of Hooters wings for the longest time, but the brand seems to have struggled lately with all of the competition; I'm happy to say that this particular location is still killing it. Although tons of places exist for good food within the New Orleans area, if you're simply craving some comfort wings this is your spot. read more

Seems like the bartender Maddie has a non-friendly attitude as if it's a imposition to serve!!

Our office put in an online order since we were all busy and would not get a lunch break otherwise. Attached is my Caesar salad as it arrived. One of us picked up the order so it didn't sit in a delivery service car. The dressing was added rather than placing it on the side. Lettuce turned to slime. Chicken was fried, I asked for grilled. The chicken was also over cookered and dried out. Guess the salad menu is just for show. read more

Today I decided to order my regular Buffalo Hot Wings from this particular location. I usually sit inside at the bar & eat but, tonight I was on the move so I ordered online to grab and go. My order originally was supposed to be ready for 9:19 pm as shown in the picture attached but, I kind of strayed in a bit early to grab a drink before my food was ready. To my surprise when I asked about the eta of my food. The bartender Benny I believe her name is told me my order was sitting on the to go rack in front. So, I proceeded to grab my food & leave instead of grabbing the drink since my food was already done. But, I noticed when I grabbed the bag that it didn't have any heat. So I then asked Benny how long my food had been sitting on the shelf in which the other bartender "Taylor" then said that she had just sat it there. I don't believe Benny was too sure but, she did agree with what "Taylor" had said. So, I walked away still opening the bag to check my food. When I got out to my car I felt the food & it was ice cold. Afterward I brought the food back in to tell Benny my issue. She politely took the food and asked the cook to have my order fixed over. As she walked away I was speaking with another paying customer telling them the details of what was going on. "TAYLOR" then came over and uttered some very disturbing things toward me about the order in which I informed her that I was not talking to her but, was talking to the other customer. She then replied "I'm just telling you what I had to say!" With a very bad attitude. This is not the first incident I had with this young lady. She is very obnoxious, rude & has poor customer service. As a paying customer that visits this location on the regular. I wish there was better customer service from this young lady "Taylor." I'm a paying customer & never have I given anybody a problem here. Most times I visit Kacy or Benny had always been my bartenders & have done an excellent job every time. I'm hoping there would be more employees with attitudes like Benny & Kacy but, I am very saddened to say that "Taylor" is not one of them. read more

I've always been "discouraged" to go here by the fairer of us, but invited to go meet a friend and his son - so off I go! Started off with the "best fried pickles anywhere" by the self proclaimed connoisseur of fried pickles. Ok, those are quite tasty especially with the remoulade sauce. Next to the wings. I go for the smoked wings with Caribbean jerk. These were good, not my fav. Friend got the texas bbq, those were quite a bit better. Next time I'll do that or the Cajun. Maybe the spicy garlic if I'm feeling a bit "HOT BABY"! Interesting the Caribbean jerk is t hot - have you not had Caribbean food? I was thinking Bimini goat pepper ! No,idea if that wide eyed emoji will go through..... next to the wait staff. Our waitress did a fantastic job. No, not that reason... :/. My friends son is special needs and wanted to order. Waitress listened and got the orders right. Well done! Yup, definitely a place I'd visit again - and bring the wife - it really is family friendly - and no ladies, you won't be the only one in there! In the end, my main suggestion - bring in a few more local brews! read more

Hooters is always good. The wings are the best out of every chain that there is. They have a wide variety from smoked, naked, fried, roasted. I got the smoked, Daytona beach wings which are sauced then thrown back on the grill. There's an up charge of $1. I feel like it's worth it. The sauce carmelizes slightly. Their cheese sauce is perfection. Just a slight jalapeño taste. They run free wing specials on birthdays and for veterans on Veterans Day. Not sure why many people give this place a bad rap. I quite enjoy their original battered wings. Beer is always cold and wings always come out piping hot! Went here for Mother's Day because what mom doesn't love wings?! (And mom's get a free entree on this special occasion. What a great way to treat the special Mom's in our lives!!) The wings were delicious, especially the spicy garlic. I also got an 11$ pitcher of margaritas, which was so surprisingly good!! Usually I stick to the beer here, but the margarita was just perfectly sweet, a tad salty and and a bit orangey... more well balanced than the most famous New Orleans margarita spot. Bartender hit it out of the park on Mother's Day! The traditional breaded spicy garlic wings were perfect and large as I remember them. Although our servers were very nice, service was very, very slow. We got our wings and a salad an hour after ordering our appetizer and my brother got his steamed shrimp almost 25minutes after everyone else got there food. All and all everyone enjoyed their food, it seemed like the kitchen might have been short staffed and having and off day. BUT wings, shrimp and salad all get an A+ in taste! read more

Hooters is a place that I will always hold near and dear to my heart. Lol. I've been going to this location since high school. Since then, my taste buds have matured and I haven't come been coming as often. But today, I came with a group of friends, which is the best way to come so you can try a little bit of everything! Hooters hasn't changed much since my last visit here, but I remember their oysters used to be $8/dozen and it's $12 now! No biggie though. Inflation. Honestly, there's nothing amazing about their food, but it hits home. Lots of tots ($6.99) - tater tots topped with cheese, bacon bits, green onion, and sour cream. Their bacon bits kinda taste burnt but the cheese really tones down that charred flavor. Lol. You have to eat it pretty fast or the cheese drowns the tots and it gets super soggy. Steamed shrimp (a full order is $19.99, but I can't recall how much a half order is... maybe $12) - anyway. It's steamed shrimp that's sorta peeled for you and topped with some type of seasoning. Served with butter and cocktail sauce. Idk what makes this so good, but I order it every time I come! Fried pickles ($6.99) - the sauce makes this. It's some type of remoulade. I wouldn't order it on my own, but if it's in front of my face I can't stop eating it. Curly fries ($2.99) - it is what it is. Chicken wing flavors: Hot - more tangy than spicy. Spicy garlic - okay. I didn't expect this to be as spicy as it was. But I loved it! Best flavor I've tried. Parmesan garlic - my boyfriend's favorite. Cheese and garlic, what more can you ask for? Lemon pepper - this is a dry rub and you can't go wrong. You can never go wrong. I always get my wings naked! The batter is a little too much for me and it's extra carbs that I don't need. Service - it's as expected. They check up on you often and get the food to you in a timely manner. My bf says that without girls, the waitresses are a bit more flirtatious. Do what you gotta do, girls. read more
