This hooters location was renovated recently and the inside does look much better and is much more comfortable. The bathrooms were a huge improvement from before. Previous ones were so gross they were unusable. They also have changed the menu quite a bit. I feel like with the additions of roosters and bw3 in the area has really hurt there business. The waitresses here are usually bad unfortunately. Bad of getting refills and remembering your order. Asking around and it seems like roosters has poached most of the food waitresses. Food to me is just ok. Hot wings same as always. They recently change the chicken quesadilla to a buffalo chicken quesadilla and it is pretty solid but there old chicken quesadilla use to be my favorite. So that was unfortunate to me. read more

We finally made it to the last Hooters we hadn't visited in the area. Unbeknownst to us, they had just opened after their remodel. When I say "just opened", the doors had been open for a half hour. In fact, there were still construction personnel working on the roof and on some of the landscaping. We were immediately greeted by a hostess and directed to our table. It's nice that the new stools (we prefer the high-top tables) are now padded. The wooden stools that Hooters has had for years, but can get ungodly uncomfortable in a short amount of time. The update atmosphere was a welcome update. Not so reliant on the wood paneling motif, there are now painted walls and some brick accents. Very nice touch. Booths have replaced a lot of the tables, and the tall tables come in a variety of basic wood and Hooters/Surfer related graphic tops. The construction was mostly done, in fact, because there were still hints of "things we need to get done", as in blue paint tape, areas that needed to be touched up, and construction dust in a few places. That's not really a complaint, though, because this restaurant and its staff were ready to get back to business. Our server was Jessica, and she was spot-on with the food recommendations and drink refills. The fried pickles (this is the ONLY place my wife will eat pickles) were served hot and fresh. I prefer the Remoulade sauce the other Hooters serves to accompany their pickles as opposed to whatever sauce the locations around here use, but it didn't stop us from enjoying them. My wife had Sliders, I had original wings. Our entrees were served hot...and I mean h-o-t and were exactly what we were expecting from Hooters. Jessica stood and talked to us for quite a while, which is not something you often get at other full-service restaurants. When a manager stopped by to ask how we were doing, all we could say was "GREAT!". We bought at Hooters 2017 Calendar. It's something we've done for about the last 5 years. The calendars come with dozens (perhaps over a hundred) of pictures of Hooters girls from across the country, and inside is a sheet of coupons that can be used on a monthly basis. That alone justifies the $15 cost of the calendar, because throughout the year you'll get close to $100 in free/discounted food. The last couple years they've also allowed you to purchase a calendar to have sent to someone serving in our Armed Forces. You get to send a note along with it, thanking the recipient for their services. All of the Hooters girls on staff will sign your calendar, too. We've taken to taking ours to different locations to get as many signatures as possible. Seldom a restaurant chain to disappoint, this was yet another GREAT visit to Hooters. From the fast seating to the newly updated environment to the great service to the tasty food, Hooters remains one of our favorite restaurant chains. read more

First I do want to thank you for being one of the only places around us to be open around 10. Every other restaurant was getting ready to close or closed and when we tried for Applebee's they were stacked and extra busy. So we decided to visit Hooters for a very late dinner, and even though the service was Rocky you guys fed us and the meal was absolutely delicious. I had a 15 piece Hooters Original Medium Wings; I absolutely love the way they coat and make their wings, it really does make it one of the best wing spots around. There's a crunch to the outer sides of the wings that most wing places just don't have. The wings are definitely a 5 out of 5. I also loved their mozzarella sticks, even though my girlfriend thought the marinara sauce was off. She had the Chicken Fajita app and she also enjoyed it. She loved the seasoning they used and felt like overall it was a good meal. Our service was the biggest thing slightly off. Our waitress was distracted with another table, just talking to them for the majority of our meal. It took a while to get our check, we had to get another waitress to call for our waitress and get our check. To me though the meal was well worth it all, the wings were amazing. Bravo! read more

Stopped in the other night for some pickles and beer. There was a group of 6 in front of us and then another couple. No one Ever came to the hostess stand. Three ladies worked on putting 2 tables together for the group. They moved as slow as molasses. Never once saw a manger or anyone else working besides the bartender. The atmosphere to watch TVs for big sporting events is fantastic. I could honestly get Hooters to-go every time. The half nude women have no bearing on whether I enjoy myself. Besides - my wife enjoys the food. So we have that in common. I should probably boycott this place. I really despise it's advertising technique. But the food is just too good. I've been to this location in Okolona probably 40 times in my lifetime. I've always enjoyed beer Wings girls any of that stuff is always been big fan. I really enjoy the atmosphere now that they have redone the remodeling that has happened on the inside of this particular location. The bathrooms are much better looking now the larger air conditioning seems to be better in there for some reason. The TVs are lot larger now they have revamped it it looks really good. I've always enjoyed the wings I like the new flavors that they have now they've added a few different flavors to the menu I always get the traditional nine-one-one cuz I'll enjoy hot food. The biggest downfall seems to be with this Hooters location is the waitresses or does not the best now I know what to expect but I mean it's Hooters. However that would be my only downfall is maybe the waitresses could be a little nicer and a little quicker with the food seems like they're always messing up the checks. *THIS IS A FULL REVIEW, MAIN CONCERN AT THE END- My Girlfriend and I stopped in a couple of nights ago, accompanied by My best friend and his wife. Great Atmosphere and sports on TV. We were seated promptly by a Worker out of uniform because she was already clocked out, but they seemed to be a bit busy (even at 10pm.) No worries there. Menu and drinks were served to us in good time, but my 1 alcoholic Beverage was not served until after the food came to our table as well as my Friend's orange cup having a big crack down the side and spilling liquid everywhere. My date and our company ordered Fried pickles, I've always known them to be some of the best around.. only came out on 1 tray, and I believe to be for 2 people to eat, so we ended up sharing. Especially for 45 mins for the food to arrive. Our order finally comes out and the waitress, Cianna, dropped a few things on accident, and scurries off to the back to get them replaced, no problem.. we were just agitated at the wait time to begin with. The food was great and fulfilling and overall to expectation. Then comes the bill, we came together and paid, and tipped cash on the table. When we checked the bank statement this evening, we had been charged for our food and AN EXTRA 7 Dollar tip on top of what we had already given. I, as a customer, feel as though my tip must not have been enough and the service, as long as it took and how much we DID NOT see our waitress, called for a need to write in more money. This was the worst experience I've had at a Hooter's. First, they were out of oysters & hamburger buns. They were not even busy but our server was very slow and our order took a very long time. The wings were supposed to be boneless with sauce on the side but received regular wings with the sauce on them. Did not bring us silverware. I got a Hurricane which was horrible so I sent it back for a Margarita which was not good either. The hurricane was supposed to be taken off the check but we were charged for it & had to get it taken off. Our server was not knowledgeable about items on the menu. At least the food we were able to get was good - crab legs, side salad with grilled chicken and wings - even though the wings were not prepared as asked. What is actually sad is that I gave this place a try after reporting a bad experience to the corporate office. They tried to make it good by having me come back to redeem themselves. That was a waste of time on both ends. Although the service was pretty good (probably due to us asking for the manager as instructed due to the earlier complaint) the rest was a joke. My boneless wings and my boyfriend's bone-in wings, were almost cold when the arrived to the table. He has been going to Hooters for many years and now has me hooked. He is very much sold on the 3-Mile flavor. He said he could tell that his wing sauce was mixed with something else, he was guessing BBQ. They brought him another batch....same deal. As it turns out, there was another table complaining about the same sauce issue. That sort of thing takes the confidence level down a notch! The were very busy, the manager did his best to be nice, but he was having to do too much helping in the cooking area (and still an issue?). There are plenty of other locations in the area to go, I would avoid the Preston Hwy location if at all possible. Oh my God....this place is a joke! Placed a carry out order to be picked up @ 8:30pm on 2/17/18. I placed the order 1.5 hours in advance. They did not have order ready, got the food at 9:10pm. They had it all bagged from the kitchen, so I hoped it was all correct. I guess I do take the blame for not checking....Anyway, the buffalo chicken sandwich was over cooked, did not have he lettuce on it as requested. They did not include the extra dipping sauces I requested and PAID for. The chicken wings were overcooked....what a disaster. Ten minutes later I went to bartender and said where is she.. She was trying to find change. She came back with $16 and laid it on counter. I stood there and she said is there a problem. I said tea was $3.17. She said you gave me a $20. I said right and you gave me $16. So the tea should be $4. She said we don't carry change. Expected a busy Friday night crowd. Wasn't too bad. Food was pretty good (hard to mess up Hooters famous wings!!) and service in general was good. Manager from Knoxville was the manager on duty. I visited this location a few times since it was close to my hotel. The food was great from the buffalo chicken sandwich to the hamburger, and the girls were friendly and courteous. Its totally different from the St Matthews location and other Hooters places I go to across the USA. For one, I noticed many of the girls weren't wearing "white" and "clean" sneakers. Some were wearing gray shoes and some white sneakers looked nasty with grease stains all over them. I saw a few girls with runs in their hoses which threw me off. The pride in their uniform shocked me cause I never saw anything like that any other Hooters I've been to from California to Texas to Louisiana to Minnesota to New York to Florida. I looked at clock because I had had a problem at this restaurant in the past. Over 10 minutes later she said it's coming right up. Twelve minutes later I stood up removed a credit card and asked for bill. She went over to the pick up shelf stood there for a few minutes and then brought burger. I told her I did not want. She said you don't want it? I said I did 30 minutes ago but not now I need to leave.
