Terrible. Ordered online, 50 wings, get home and the wings are dry, no sauce. I call and the manager Jennifer says, the sauce probably absorbed in because of the heat, i say no there is no sauce it has no flavor, she tells me our medium sauce doesnt really have a flavor because its a buttery sauce. But if i want to bring them back, they would re sauce them. My reply was, well then they will be cold by the time i get back home to eat them. She would not give me a refund or even offer to comp anything for the inconvenience. This place is a joke, will never order fro.m here again. read more

The food is still Hooters, but everything else has gone to hell! I was big regular at one time and enjoyed many outings and great conversations with the Hooter girls. Now, they just hire ANYBODY, they went from one extreme to the other after the discrimination lawsuit - hey guys, it's about discernment, don't hire a shitty waitress because she fits the extra smart uniform, but damn leave the fat one with the shitty 'tude too! My last 3 and final visits occurred this week, are you selling weed now Hooters? The entire parking lot smells like bud and the inside smells like ass. First two times, shame on me for feeling nostalgic, the last, SHAME on you! The lady manager on duty claims she is aware of "the blunt smoking on the property but don't know what to do..." All I can say is I visited this location and the food was not good. Naturally I did a TO GO order and online will not accommodate any special requests therefore I contacted the restaurant with my special request, and they took it. Only to get the order home and discover that it was not done. The food just did not taste good I scheduled my order to be ready at a specific time, but I'm guessing maybe it was made earlier and the order just sat. My order of fries were extremely wet and soggy. Maybe I will try again in the future when I can actually have the time to dine in. read more

I love fried chicken! I love chicken! Broil it, bake it, sautee it, fry it, boil it, kabob it- sign me up, I'll eat it up! Put it on a bun, a bed of lettuce, a mound of rice or potatos, you can't go wrong when chicken is involved! With that being said- as I frequently do, I dined alone at the Hooters bar for dinner last night. I find that my food is ALWAYS piping hot and freshly prepared when I order from the bar. The day cook- I think his name is Frank is an awesome fry cook! The night and weekend cooks are a little suspect- their food isn't as good. You get to really see how they cook things and prepare the plates before they send your food off with your "dreamy" Hooters girl... I think they should have to wear GLOVES- just like the cooks- even though I don't necessarily think that of other restuarants- I guess its because of how fast the pace is of the service here I def notice fingers touching food on plates before it is served to the customer. For $13 you can get 6 wings with ranch, a cheese fry, and a large dr. pepper- this fills me up everytime- I never finish my drink and there is always a wing or 2 left over.... The girls look a little broke down- but I guess that is to be expected- it is the south suburbs...Some of the bodies are just wrong, offending my vision in the tight tank and teeny shorts. EWW! I'm almost slightly offended that I am usually asked to apply to be a "Hooters Girl" when I dine here... Um.... No thanks... Once again reinforces the idea that absolutely noone goes to hooters for the food. The wings seemed straight out of a freezer bag and the server made several mixups with our order. Table was dirty even after the host 'wiped it down' as we sat. Fries were gross. Without naming names there are MUCH better wing chains to attend nowadays... We walk into the restaurant and the first thing that caught my attention was the smell of fresh buffalo shrimp and a 10pc buffalo strips (double dip or 911 my personal). The number 1 topnotch restaurant for sports (in my favor) plus the waitress service is out of this world. There are also pros and cons to the restaurant itself. The cons to the restaurant is that it's good for couples as well but... there are some good looking ladies in there. Don't get me wrong but me and my friends have talked to a few of the female workers in there. Majority say, "I like my work. I get paid a nice amount and the food is delicious. Most of the men pull me to the side to just laugh and joke and talk." If your wife is there with you and you spot a good-looking one, somebody won't be pleased tonight. It's a fun place to reminisce about the old days whether back in high school, college, or even those wonderful grade school days where you were a good kid or a class clown that Ms. Franklin hated throughout the day. Last night, me and my family dined at Hooters for the win of my little brother's basketball game. Such a small kid with a big appetite! HOOTERS IN LANSING, ILLINOIS I used to love Hooters and I have visited this location on many occasions. However, I do not take kindly to businesses that treat their patrons without regard. I am posting on Yelp because I've called customer service several time and emailed with no response. Long story short. On 2/8/19 I visited this location's "To Go" to purchase gift cards and wings. I wanted to purchase $20 gift cards for five friends who I had introduced to Hooters and they really like it. I was informed that my purchase was too much for me to use a credit card and that I had to use cash. I expressed that this was a debit card which today is like cash and that I've used my debit card to purchase gift cards at other Hooters locations. Plus, $100 is not a lot of money to spend at Hooters. I expressed that I've dined at this location and spent more than $100 on several occasions. The staff and the manager were aloof and just didn't care. As a result, the exchange was humiliating. Several customers came in and asked "what's the problem." I had $60 in cash and offered to use the cash so the purchase would be less. After at least a 30 minutes discussion, Hooters didn't even have the gift cards on hand. After this revelation, another staff member asked in a vary nonchalant way, "Do you still want your food." I decided that I had better leave. I was so humiliated and angry. I called Hooters customer service as I was walking out of the restaurant. Customer service promised a call back. No call. I emailed Hooters online. No call. I called customer service again. No call. It is now March 15th and I have yet to receive a call regarding this ridiculous policy. It is not lost on me that this policy only exists at the location that is in a predominantly African American community. Several things: * The manager and staff's customer service skills were awful. They were not rude or mean. They simply did not care. * Again, I have spent over $100 on meals at this same Hooters location many times and have paid with my debit card. * Who carries cash anymore? People use Apple pay and all kinds of electronic means but not cash. Even vending machine have credit card payment options. * The card was a debit card. Debit card purchases are withdrawn immediately. * Makes no sense that I can purchase gift cards using a debit card on Hooters' website and ship them wherever (which has a more likely chance of fraud), but I can't use my debit card in person where Hooters has the opportunity to ask for identification. * Trustworthy! All people are not scammers. I work my butt off to pay for what I want. I will never set foot in another Hooters. read more

Went and visited my local hooter this evening and disappointment was on the menu. My server, Destiny was friendly and repeated our order back correctly. Unfortunately when we were brought the appetizer and told they didn't have bread for a sandwich. Now this is a 6:00pm on a Friday. So we were told the manager was out getting the bread. So we decided to wait for the bread. While waiting for our food we were told 5-6 min after that the manager just left. So we cancelled the sandwich and told them to just bring the rest of the food. This was a great decision considering all the food was now cold waiting for the manager. Worst wings I've ever had. I've been to hooters around the world. This is the worst. The manager never came to the table to ask how the meal was or to apologize for the issue. I won't be back. Only reason for 2 stars is that Destiny was a good server with bad leadership. read more

My friends and I come here occasionally on Friday nights for dinner, we always browse the menu but end up going for the 50pc chicken wings (911 my personal favorites) The waitress service is always phenomenal and its an awesome place to view sports events. I have read mostly negatives reviews for this location and management should seriously consider properly training managers and staff. I came into the location with my family on Mother's Day only because it was my daughter's 1st Mother's Day as a new mom and this was her choice to dine in. What a nightmare !. It started off bad when the waitress spilled water on my 3 month old grand baby that was in her car seat in the booster seat provided by Hooters. At that point we, should have gotten up and left. 2nd, we asked for them to move us to another area as water had ran all under the table and all around. They refused to move our seat yet stated that someone will be over to clean the area. 3rd, the service was extremely slow and it was obviously clear that our server was having a bad day as she had a melt down at our table and started crying. Although she did apologize, she went further and expressed to my family the stressors she had endured from the busy day and admitted to making several mistakes which it seemed she was quite overwhelmed ( although we listened and even hugged to comfort her, perhaps she should consider a career that is not fast pace ). The manager Matt avoided coming to see us after he was informed that we wanted to move seats or due to the inconvenience which we had to ask for him directly to discuss our experience. He did not seem to care nor was apologetic for all of what took place. He took $14 off our bill and that was that. This Hooters in Lansing has truly gone downhill in professionalism, customer service and quality. I have been in customer service for over 2o years and certainly have made mistakes but made sure that I would have the customer leaving satisfied and with a smile, which we were not. Even though the waitress spilled a drink on my infant grandbaby, my daughter still left her a $10 tip because she felt bad for her. It was a sad experience and a Mother's Day that we will never forget. I will not display the waitress's name nor wish her to be terminated, but rather to properly train staff on all situations including damage control and staff them according to their strengths especially on busy days. I am grateful it was only ice water she spilled and nothing more damaging like hot coffee or soup as there would be a lawsuit in action. Highly disappointed and will not be returning. read more

The food is always good, it's just the wait time and the service that really sucks. We waited about 5 mins for our server then another 5-10 for drinks. The food! We thought she forgot to put it in, because that's how long the wait was. As I said before the food always is good. The only food section that can use some love would be your dessert. This place is poorly ran. Management mainly Eileen lacks the experience needed to handle the pressure during busy times. I ordered online. Logged in to see my order was ready only for it to be switched to delivered. My order was not found and after waiting for an hour for a salad I asked for my money back. There were MANY people waiting with complaints and wrong orders. Eileen was rude and I was told it would be refunded and I would get an email stating the order was refunded and not picked up, instead I got a text message 20 mins later stating my order had been picked up. I called back and she stated she did not put it in yet and I would need to wait until midnight because I saw what she had going on. So I'm supposed to trust that after a busy night you will remember to refund my order because I'm just that special. No that is not how it works. I will be contacting Corporate. After we told her what was wrong with our food and the long wait all she said was "so what do u want?" We told her that we would just like hot fresh food and she just walked off. However, as my husband and I are entering the restaurant outside the entrance there was a group of young guys smoking weed. Now really!? C'mon now. What has it come down to? I live in Lansing; usually always order carry out, spending at least $60 or more for the entire family. This particular time I wanted to dine in to get hot & fresh food! I had a party of 8 with 2 adults & 6 children 14 and under with the youngest being 2 years old. They were very crowded; so to avoid an hour wait we sat at 2 different tables. Stephanie was our waitress, I do understand Bcuz they were crowded it took about 40 min to get our food. We ordered fried pickles & onion rings as an appetizer it came out 10 min after ALL our food arrived. Food was not HOT as if it had been sitting and waiting for everything else to be ready. Bcuz we all were so hungry with kids I didn't want to send back. Once I received bill it was $165 with 20% service charge. Everyone ordered drinks except the 2 year old we still got charged 8 drinks and our waitress had the nerve to say she charged what we ordered. Once she realized she made a mistake she did offer to take off $2.69 but I said don't worry about it Bcuz I had a 2 year old crying and ready to go. In addition we got charged 2 additional ranch sauces for $1.59. My 2 year old starting crying. I had my husband take the kids to the car while I waited for her to get me my receipt to sign. A big security guy stopped my husband at the door Bcuz the manager told him to watch us Bcuz I complaining. WTH. Who does that? Once I saw the 20% service charge and how they treated my husband I asked to speak to a manager to adjust my bill. I'm not trying to go to jail for $165. That really pissed me off. The so-called Manager was Lynard Harris. He refused to credit the ranch sauces that my kids didn't touch or order and said no to the extra drink until I guess Stephanie explained that I said don't worry about it. He took my receipt and claimed he did it. However 2 days later my credit card has not been adjusted. I'll be calling Corporate tomorrow. For $165 bill you have a problem crediting $4.27 for items I didn't get or order????? That's a BIG problem. What happen to customer service or even apologizing for the problems I complained about. Our work crew used to come here a lot for the delicious chicken wings UNTIL I found feathers on the wings. Not just one feather, but a few on each wing! When I called it to the waitresses attention, she said it was normal. I couldn't eat the wings after that...gross, low quality chicken. I complained online on their website and never got a response. My husband & I love Hooters. We always go to the one on Torrence. We tried the hooters on 95th street....EPIC FAIL. So we will stick with what we know. When we want buffalo wings it has to be Hooters. Love the Fried Pickles & the Lots of Tots. I have just recently upgraded to the 3 mile island sauce from the medium sauce. I actually like coming here a lot. However this was the worst time I have ever had. My waitress was absolutely rude. And my fathers meal looked liked a dogs dinner. His fish was mangled and chunks instead of a fillet. I was so close to asking for another one. And my sandwich was missing tomatoes, lettuce, and onions. I had to ask for it while receiving more rudeness. I will comeback but never sit in her section or ask for someone else to serve me.
