I've been holding back for some time now. I usually order through their app because it's convenient for me. The last few times I've ordered I've had problems. From the crab legs looking like they came from the bottom of the barrel to missing items. I've had items missing twice and the only the the restaurant says is -"hold on let me check your order. Ok we will issue you a refund" but I don't get to eat anything? Keep in mind I placed the delivery order through the hooters app. This time it's been over an hour of me waiting for my delivery. Then I called and asked for an update on my order and the woman knew my name before I said anything. She says the restaurant uses Uber for delivery and the driver came in rushing her and when she came back with the food the driver was gone. Now when I spoke with the MOD Jervae I think she said - she had the nerve to tell me to contact Uber. Excuse me ma'am I placed the order through the hooters app. She then goes into the system to request a new driver . I then ask if she could make sure I receive hot food because my food has been sitting and waiting for over 30 mins and she responds oh well it's already packed ‍- this has been terrible- this is definitely my last time ordering from this location read more

What has happened to Hooters? Love the decor, Hooters buffalo sauce, and what used to be a clean, fun environment. Its just not that anymore. :-( For a while now it seems like staff reluctantly serve serve clients while otherwise running the business. The kitchen screams at the top of their lungs at waitresses, dirty dishes are thrown into tubs in the floor with a crash and splattering food, and service is mediocre most days. I stop by this location 1 to 4 times a month. Not a regular but not a stranger by any means. Today (4/12 @1p) I stopped in and the restaurant was 1/2 empty (for reference). Their was one couple ahead of me who was waiting for the rest of their party (of 6) to arrive. After standing near them for a couple.of minutes I asked the hostess if I needed to put my name in (since I wasn't sure if she knew I wasn't with the other couple waiting for their friends). The reply I got was an eye roll and a "Just wait..." and a few minutes later was told "you can follow me" with an attitude that screamed she was annoyed I was there. She brought me to a table where plates were being dropped into a bin with a crash right behind me. I politely asked if I could have a table away from the waitress service area. She said (with a eye roll and attitude) "No... no other tables are available..." in a half empty restaurant. In fact, the table one further from the original one was empty and one across the row was empty. Even if this was technically a other waitstaff area, it would have taken two steps to get or it. Sorry... between the 'warm greeting', eyebrolls, and ridiculous response to asking for a table away from smashing dishes and flying leftovers, I am worth worth more than that. A mile away I enjoyed Buffalo Wild Wings with friendlier staff, more TVs and more variety. Get it together Hooters... you are loosing your way. Hope you find your way home. read more

I keep trying to patronize this establishment not just this location, but other locations and it's just not giving went to celebrate the birthday of one of my daughters because this was her favorite restaurant. It was six of us at the table. We informed the waitress that we were waiting on other people to come And come back and check on us in like five minutes. Well, it took like 20 minutes or a little more to come back well we all placed our orders and one person at the table wanted a cocktail. I suggested that they should go to the bar and get the cocktail because it'll probably take forever and a day to get the cocktail and how slow our waitress was Moving. They went to the Bar to get their cocktail and was told that you have to go back to the table and place it with your waitress that still didn't sit right but anyway they got their cocktail from the bar. All of our food came out as per usual they send out cold food. Our tab for the whole table was I know at least over 150 so I have to deal with cold food and send it back you know you don't even want to send it back after you gotta send it back cause to make it hot. Arrived during a slow Saturday night for a simple order of wings. Fried pickles and shrimp for appetizers. We waited over 25 mins for the simple order of fried pickles. We waited patiently over 1 hour for our food . Unfortunately no food came and our patience ran out. It was Not a busy night. The staff appeared right for the mount of customers but it was hard to understand why every one around us was waiting approx 1 hour or more for any food or simple appetizers . Unacceptable service for the paying customers eating inside the restaurant. Whether it's new management or poor priority. Making the takeouts a priority over the paying customer inside the restaurant is a bad business decision. Everyone might have different bad or good experiences but after many year of eating here as a paying customer, pThis has been the worst service experienced. I could only assume the bad rating is a sign of bad reputation with poor management along the years. Please focus on your paying customers first. Takeouts second. Ps. On the recommendation of a friend, my husband and I stopped here. The dining area was bustling with Hooters fans. We ran into a friend of ours and talked for a while. The friend introduced us to the manager who also owns this location. He was very nice; shook our hands and thanked us for our service. We walked out to the To-Go area that had just as much buzz as inside. Ordered our usual; 20 wings mild, onion rings with the horseradish sauce and I may have snuck in an order of mild shrimp while they were catching up. Lol. We evaluated the work we did during the DNC, going over what worked and what could have been better. Our friend explained this Hooter's location has the reputation for being the best and that they always have a nice crowd. Had to wait 45 minutes to sit down at a table while nine tables in open sight were not being used. plenty of staff moving at slow speed. busser is clearly coked out of his head and the inside Officer is turning a blind eye to it. It's kind of pathetic to eventually get your wings and they claim THIS is buffalo sauce. It's no wonder they're slowly closing doors. It's just not worth it. I ordered fried pickles, which were perfectly fine. I ordered a kids meal bone in with tater tots instead of french fries see pics below. There was still feathers on the chicken and the chicken was fried so hard that I could literally throw it up against the wall and it probably would shatter this is not the first time that this is happened and each and every time I tell them about the problem and there's nothing that they can do or let them tell it according to corporate, which I will be reaching out to on Monday that you have to bring the food back. When I looked over to the pic I posted I can see I must have already been filled with to much bubbly because I said Hooters Glad...someone couldn't tell a sister um did you mean Glad or Glass...okay enough about me let's get to the food and the service...lol There was a bit of a wait time but that is because they were packed so we just sat at the bar for awhile and had a couple of Margaritas as we waited to be seated. The bartender/waitress was very nice and it was some game with LeBron James on so we were cool...I never said I knew the name of the teams. Anyway, our waitress was very nice and she took our food order right away which was the wings of course. We had the bone in wings flavored medium which worked for me and an order fries. Two people in my opinion only need 1 order of fries because they give you a nice amount of them if you don't eat a lot of fries. The chicken was the perfect amount of crunch and grease(that is where all the flavor is) If you are on a diet then you may have to get the salad. There were a lot of families there with their children and celebrating birthdays which was cool with me because all the children were very well behaved(I know hard to believe...but true) The waitress we had found me the last Hooters Glass they had of the night and I swear I was doing the happy dance and singing along with the birthday songs...It was just a great time, great waitress and atmosphere. People go to Hooters to look at attractive women and eat bar food. Having said that, I'm obligated to inform you that I have never dined in. This review is based on my most recent take-out order. I arrived at Hooters and parked in the express spot for pick-up orders. The call taker told me ten minutes so I gave it twelve. I went inside and sure enough the order was not ready. I paid the bill and waited for another five minutes before receiving my order. The girl that bagged my food up was pleasant and I was soon on my way. I ordered 30 boneless wings along with several orders of celery and blue cheese dressing. The celery was gross. It was clearly old produce and displayed browning on the bottoms and sides of each stalk (see picture). Even if you are serving older celery you could at least cut the bad parts off. The blue cheese dressing was bad. I'm guessing that it is a dry mix with water added to make the dressing. In this case it seemed to be about two parts too much and/or not stirred enough. It didn't taste anything like blue cheese. I would have termed it soupy ranch but for the crumbles that resembled blue cheese. The boneless wings, aka "nuggets", were adequate. In total I was disappointed. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't good. I truly believe that Hooters has over expanded and now has too many locations without enough quality controls in place. The menu was once basic (wings, fries, etc.) but now has salads, burgers, sandwiches, fish, etc. Hooters needs to go back to a winning formula: Pretty girls, good wings, and cold beer. I will be returning to Hooters but you can take the Lansing location off my list. read more

I tried this Hooters location first about two weeks ago. Then I would have reated them a three. I ordered in the store and the food was cold. The amount of fries you get it a lot less than you used to. I visited this location again two days ago. Orderd 20 TMI shrimp, 10 hot, 10 tmi boneless wings, and an order of fries. Why did the genius cook take it upon himself to put the fries in with the TMI shrimp. So NOW, I have extra hot fries (because the shrimp were extra saucy). Normally I use the fries to tone down the heat. Why would the cook assume that the fries are with that order. Why not keep everything separate. On top of this, there were extra shrimp tails in with my order. Not sure if these were just randome tails or tails from a left over order that someone didn't finish, or if the cook had a few. Ok, they were probably sued a million times, which explained why the waitresses were of a little more round shape than before. But the wings were just as good! We tried the boneless wings with a few different sauces, and all was good. For a semi fast food restaurant, this is one of the best. I placed an online order for myself and a few co-workers. When I arrived my order wasn't ready, no problem. When it did come out by the manager, he was helpful with obtaining missing items from the order. I called back because the salads weren't labeled, and the sauces were incorrect. We ordered 3 blue cheese and 2 ranch but received the reverse. I called back to make them aware of the mistake, gave suggestions on how this could be avoided in the future, and asked for my order (just mine, everyone was ok with eating the different sauces) to be re-done. It was a conversation of foolishness. He said I could come back and receive a blue cheese (sir I am at work, that was my lunchbreak, and I paid for 3 blue cheese and the ones I received, are gone). He stated that he could refund me one (Sir there were 3). He then began with the passive aggressive talk "I understand your plight, I'm sorry that you feel you can't eat your food with ranch, what would you like for me to do?" I responded, as I ate my co-worker's soggy salad, to replace my order, just my order. He became belligerent, "there is no way I am replacing your order just because you don't like ranch dressing, no way..." I hung up because I'm not ok with being yelled at. I am currently on a 68-minute hold in attempts to reach someone on the corporate customer service line.
