Maybe it's because my beer goggles were off for the first time? I dunno... but the food just wasn't very good this past weekend when we were in. Hooters has my favorite wings, hands down. It's worth tolerating the dumb-as-rocks waitresses to enjoy said wings. However, this last time, EVERYTHING was cold. The wings, the fried pickles, the tater tots... blech. Our waitress warned us as she put the plates down "careful now, everything is really HOT". I didn't heed her warning... and ended up with a lukewarm mouthful of food. Unimpressive. Their TMI sauce is always a big hut with my dude and I so I'll give them a hesitant three stars. Step it up, Hooters! read more

This hooters was the only restaurant open during a late night looking for food. The clam chowder wasn't too bad and the 10boneless wing and fries combo was a good deal. I would say that the clam chowder was pretty good surprisingly because it was served at a bar that's primarily known for wings and drinks. The server was quite helpful and was able to give me options on the wings; you can actually choose more than one flavour for the wings! I went with 5 honey bbq and 5 garlic and it was alright. It was definitely a lot of food and worth the money so if you're on a late night search for wings and soup, visit this hooters! read more

To be fair, coronavirus ruined most restaurants because no one can recoup their good servers. I'll also save her the embarrassment by not putting her name, but damn. Worst service yet. Forgot things, then charged for them when they were brought out 20 minutes later. Orders were wrong. And prices are super high. Not worth it. Find another location and pray for better service. Girls are pretty, but that's about all they have to offer here. read more

Hooters wings you either love 'em or you don't, but I"m one of those that are in-between. I like the ones that are not drenched in sauce and oil, but there aren't many of those when the platter is brought out. Our server Christine, was very tentative and friendly, but I found it to be a bit odd that she opens up all of our ranch/blue cheese dressing and pour the beer from the pitcher. We're not at an upscale restaurant for the waitress to have to so. It's a nice gesture, but having been to a few Hooters and having this happen the first time made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Compare our 1 order of fries to another table and something is wrong. our table of five had 1 order, but we got ripped off because the table of two that also had 1 order got double the amount! (you're probably asking how do I know this? Well, the other table of two are friends of mine). Next time pile up those curly fries! To me it's hooters. There's not much to rave about. You either enjoy it or you don't. read more

This review is 2 parts. The food is one and the service is the other. We'll start with the service. It was flat out great. We had an attentive waitress that was quick and came by periodically to make sure all was well including beverages. She was great and I'm sorry i forgot your name. Ok now onto the food. Good lord the wings were greasy. I've had Hooters before (about a year ago different location) but I do not recall the breaded wings being so greasy. We did an order of 20 Hot and about 15-25 minutes later our stomachs were queasy. It's been almost an hour and half since we left and we still do not feel 100%. The last observation was the kids there. How the hell can you bring kids to a bar with waitresses in their Hooters "uniforms"? Are there noooo other food/wings options in that area?? It's a flat out bar people. Kids who are not in H.S. yet should not be in there. We saw a 4-year old being sung to there tonight because it was his birthday. Sad. Plenty of parking and plenty of TV's present. read more

VERY weak drinks!!! Ordered the Rip Roarin' Rum Runner with no pinapple juice. It was supposed to come with an orange and cherry garnish, but instead, I got a solo lime that looked like it was in a bar fight! Plus, I HATE limes! There was also supposed to be a Rum floater, but that was missing. It actually looked like someone took several sips of my drink before I got it because it was not a full glass! Also, stay away from the Hooters Nachos, they are garbage!!! The nachos taste exactly as they look- boring and unappetizing! The nacho chips are flavorless, the nacho cheese is bland and the guacamole needs salt & onions. Everything about the nachos, except the chicken & jalepenos, is bland. VERY DISAPPOINTING and a waste of money! read more

Hooters is Hooters! Good wings, moderate priced and so so drinks. But then again no one says "let's go to Hooter's for drinks". Chicago native and travel frequently at the nearby airport but this was my 1st time ever stopping in. Cool Sunday afternoon in Feb. plenty of people but was able to be seated quickly. Good service but I don't remember the waitress checking back after the food was brought to see if I wanted to add anything. That is a must for any great server. I had the 10 shrimp (steamed) and 10 wings. Both were hands down good. Fresh taste and flavorful. I'm much closer to the Chicago location and make that my go to but I would certainly go back to this location. One thing they have over my usual location is parking. Can't beat that. read more

My wife and I walked in at 8:45PM on a Tuesday. According to their website, they are open till 10PM. We saw a sign saying that they do not do walk-ins. So we attempted to book a table online. No available tables. So we attempted to order food to-go and have a beer at the bar. The server asked the manager if that was okay. He said that the kitchen was closed...a hour or so before their 10:00PM closing time. read more

RAW chicken pieces!! I call in speak to the manager Frank & WOW how the heck is this guy a manager not ONCE did he even offer me a refund or any solution! didn't even offer to bring me a new salad (not that I wanted one) UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE ALL AROUND!!! My friend who hates Hooters will never agree too go with me. I love the wings and Buffalo shrimp! So tonight I convinced him and we decided to order take out from this location. All I can say is what a disappointment! I had to call twice because the first time I called they told me to hold on and after realizing they forgot about me I hung up. I called back and placed my order. When I get home with the wings we realize the hot wings have the wrong sauce on them (mild) and out of 10 wings there are only 2 drummettes...come on. I know you guys charge extra for all drums but I didn't see a discount for not giving me any. Then the Daytona wings which were supposed to be grilled are a fried sloppy mess! This 10 piece has 3 drums in case you are wondering. I don't usually complain but it sucked! Let's just say I got a big fat "I told you so". read more

The worst wings that I have ever had in my life. Please change the oil in your fryer because oil is all I tasted. The mild wing sauce well, not sure if it existed. The mixed drink was lacking anything. Not worth visiting this hooters. The chicken dip was the only thing that was actually good. JR read more

This place is so frustrating. I ordered food Togo with a 21 minute expected wait time. I got my food after almost 50 minutes. The kitchen staff was lazy (lots of standing around) and there was only one manager visible who looked lost running back and forth in the kitchen almost aimlessly. The togo staff was polite but told me about 5 times that my food would be ready in "a few minutes". Do not go to this hooters if you don't have free time to spare. And they forgot the cheese for my fries after all that waiting. read more

Great food and service!! And Anne was a fantastic waitress, well mannered, and hard working. Keep up the good work guys!

Of course New Year's eve is going to be busy, but (as I ordered on uber eats) after an extra 30 minute wait for 20 wings and some sauce (the driver had been sitting outside the restaurant for whole time, on top of the 15 minutes estimated, so a total of 45 minutes to this point), I called to get an idea of how much longer the wait would be. First, I was hung up on. Second time, and I didn't get a name, the girl was very short and rude with me. She had the biggest attitude I've ever heard from a waitress anywhere, but probably young so... whatever. Wings were good, though I only received 10 out of the 20 I paid for. Waiting on the $15+ refund from Uber eats. Won't be trying any Hooters again anytime soon. read more

In my opinion, Hooters chicken wings taste better in the Chicago area than they do in Northern California... I would say the staff at this location is not as friendly is they could be compared to the Schaumburg location, so worth the extra 15 to 20 minute drive if you have the time... Otherwise good for the quick fix. Kids menu is always a welcome sight. Nice how the kids food is served on an orange frisbee (to keep)! Great place to watch sports games! read more

Came to this restaurant after the Wolves game and to celebrate a birthday. We got sat at table 11. It took them 10 mins to greet our table. Another 10 mins to receive our drinks from the bar, which we saw sitting there the whole time at the bar well. Then placed our orders. Food came out in a timely matter but the food was horrible. Not enough sauce and where cold. Fries where not cooked all the way and also where cold. Service overall was terrible and food was terrible. Spoke to the manager on duty tonight, told him what was wrong with it. He said ok let me go look. After about 5 mins we got our check. He didn't comp anything off the bill and we also got charged an 18% auto gratuity. Another that one of the ladies from our table went back to talk to him. He came back with only $25 off the tab. Mind you we had 8 ppl table with 18% added was $367. So when he comes back told us we ate most of our food, totally incorrect. And that most he was able to do was the 25/26 bucks off. I said at least take the 18% auto off due to the service and horrible food. Not worried bout paying for the the bad food. Says he couldn't due to the system. Overall you don't treat customers that way and you don't just brush off a situation like that. I've been in the industry for 20 years, prob the worst experience ever with a manager at any restaurant. By FAR the worst experience ever at Hooters! I wouldn't recommend this location here in ohare off Higgins road ever to anyone. Corporate Will be contacted. read more

I have been to this restaurant a few times in the past and the service has always been mediocre, to say the least. This particular day I had a chance at hope when the waitress Bria serviced our table a few weeks ago at lunch. Hooters are usually hit or miss, but this one is hit for the food and miss for the service. It's not unusual to see the co workers chit chatting in a circle with no care to the customers at this location. However, my last encounter with the waitress Bria exceeded my expectations. She made sure my coworker and I had adequate refills, gave us enough polite chit chat, recommended some of her favorite items to my coworker (she eats the same thing every time and will not listen to me) and made us feel very comfortable. This experience made me want to revisit in hopes if Bria's positive attitude rubs off on her coworkers. If you see this Bria, Thank you so much for giving us amazing service. -I put the wrong food pics below it won't let me delete lol but the buffalo shrimp gets 5 stars as well (-: read more

I'm so irritated. We ordered for pick up. Of course they forget to put in one of the dishes we paid for cause we paid for the food FYI. We call for a refund on the dish not the whole order. They stated that they would give us a credit for the next time we come in...Um...We don't live by there. So next time we are around there we have to hope they remember their mess up. Wonder if that's going to happen. At least if they gave us money on a gift card we could not worry about this credit for a dish we paid for and never got. So make sure if you want to pick up food from here you double check while you're there. Even though this place is crazy busy which I don't mind unless I'm having to pull out all the dishes we ordered and put it down on the busy bar or busy counter to make sure that they put it all in the bag while they stare at you not understanding why you don't trust them... read more

My baseball teammates and I just won a turnament and wanted to celebrate so we decided to go to our favorite restaurant. There were easily 30 of us and the wait to sit down was about 5 minutes. The service there was great as usual and the people are nice and fun to talk to. It's definitely a family-friendly restaurant that supports the working women. The menu has a pretty widespread variety of options but you wouldn't be doing yourself justice if you don't order the boneless wings. I highly recommend this restaurant as their prices are reasonable and the service is spectacular. I will continue to come and support the people who work here. I´m bewildered there's not a throng of people in the front of the restaurant at all hours. read more

Came in yesterday, Sunday, for dinner with my boyfriend. It was a little past 6:00 and it was pretty packed. We were told that the wait would be between 15-20 minutes and thankfully that wasn't the case!, we were seated in a booth in less than 10 minutes! Perfect! Now I should mention that my boyfriend and I have been coming to the O'Hare location (separately) for years upon years! We both love HOOTERS, no joke, Obsessed. We both moved to the West Loop and have since lost touch with HOOTERS O'Hare. So needless to say, this particular visit was kind of our way of getting in touch with our past love for the place. First, the service was great! Our waitress was so sweet and attentive, it was busy and she was obviously busy, she definitely got the job done! Thank you! Unfortunately everything else kind of fell short for me! However, my boyfriend loved everything! He went with a 20 Piece Hot Wings and an order of Fries. I went with a 20 Piece Buffalo Shrimp 911 sauce, Side Caesar Salad, and Fries. We waited quite a while for our food, nothing new, we expected it! The only thing I didn't like was the fact that our food came out COLD - Colder than usual! My boyfriend didn't mind, he was hungry... I on the other hand, it was a little disappointing. My shrimp came out cold and the breading was extra soggy! I was ok with it being extra soggy but the fact that it came out COLD just threw me off! Even the fries came out a little colder than usual. Seriously?! Personally It was kindof of disconcerting that our Bill came out to $100 just for the two of us. That's nothing unusual for us, we go out all the time for dinner but there is a line that was crossed when it comes to getting what you pay for and when things just fall short! I understand that Hooters isn't a fine dining restaurant but if you're spending the money like it is I need to leave happy! Busy or not, I should be able to eat my food hot if I'm paying for it. I was really hoping to have flashbacks of earlier experiences... what is going on?! read more

It's Hooters, so you come for the wings, right?! Ummm....sure. If you say so. I've always had mixed emotions about the wings at Hooter's. You ask any guy what they go there for, and it never fails. They all say for the wings. ((I'm convinced it's some rule in the man's code of conduct...)) Somehow, I just don't find the wings, the food, or the service THAT great. It's average. But perhaps I'm missing something. Prior to my new meatless diet, I would occasionally visit Hooter's for some boneless wings on my lunch break. Especially on "Wings-day". ((On Wednesdays, for $5.99 you can get 10 boneless wings and fries...woot!!)) Depending on the mood, I would usually go for the Medium Chipotle BBQ, Honey Thai Chili Pepper, or standard Medium sauce. Sure, they have pretty decent wings, I won't dispute that. I just never found them anything to rave about. The Lotsa Tots and Fried Pickles are also worth the extra calories if you're in the mood. In terms of the rest of the menu, I haven't ventured out. Not mention, they offer a lot of seafood items and burgers, which really aren't my thing. I wouldn't rate service as being top notch. It's hit or miss depending on how busy the restaurant is at lunchtime, and how attentive your waitress feels like being. But overall, if you're in the mood for wings, Hooters isn't a bad option. Not to mention, they have some great deals depending on the day you go. And hey, it's all about the wings, right!? read more

Ha-Ha-Ha- Hooters. Oh yeah. I went here Sunday night for some post-hockey action (there's nothing like hockey and Hooters). To my utter shock, this place was PACKED. This bumpin' on a Sunday night? We had to wait for a table but I didn't mind since the bar area is usually where all the magic happens. . . The bartender wouldn't let us start a tab because "people sometimes walk away." Um, OK. I didn't shower that day but I didn't think I looked like THAT much of a scumbag. Wait, silly me. All I had to do was look to my left to see some fine examples of beer-stealing perps - three WASTED, middle-aged dudes hitting on the Hooters waitresses. One even said "Tell that bitch to back up" under his boozified breath. That "bitch" was me. REAL classy. I wonder why he was at Hooters on a Sunday night alone, with two other dudes. Hmmmm? After a 20 minute wait we left those obnoxious losers behind and sat down. The menu is pretty much what one would except - lots-o-wings. But alas! They added fried pickles to the menu? VERY cool. Some of the BEST fried pickles ever. You can quote me there. We ordered hot wings and non-breaded wings (in some attempt to be healthy. I do not recommend this. If you're going to "go healthy" Hooters is not the place). Those regular, breaded hot wings were right on target. I also had a mango margarita - tasty indeed. The overall service was outstanding (besides the no-tabs-please bartender). Those hot pants though, ouch. They do not really flatter ANYONE (unless you have the perfect bum). read more

DISCLAIMER: DO NOT EAT THE RAW OYSTERS FROM HERE! OR ANY FOOD FROM HERE! I am never eating here again. I suggest you never eat here either. The place is full of rude servers who will ignore you most of the night. I sat in front of an empty mug, which I got from the bar before being seated, for at least 10 minutes before our server decided to stop by our table. And this is before we even ordered anything. One of our friends came late. The server didn't even notice for 15 minutes, because she hadn't stopped by for 15 minutes. This is still before we ordered anything. So after waiting and hoping for the server to drop by our table, we ordered 4 dozen raw oysters, full rack of roasted carolina style oysters, some chicken wings, buffalo shrimp, fries, mexicurly fries, and a few other things. Everything came out late. We devoured our food and drank a few more beers and left. A couple of days later, we all came down with a horrible sickness. We had the chills, upset stomachs that kept churning, diarhhea, nausea, weakness, headache. I honestly thought I was going to die. We all figured that it was from this Hooters since we hadn't eaten together since then. Luckily, we all got better in a few days, but it was so horrible. All in all, the servers are rude, the food will make you sick, and it's just not worth it. Listen to all the other reviewers. Keep away from this location and show them that they need to change their ways if they want to stay in business. read more

Easily thee best chain based wings around. Though theyre supposed to be famous for the eye candy wait staff..its pretty hit or miss. But thats neither here nor there. Honestly I think Id probably rather not have a smoking hot server anyway. So I dont have to worry about looking presentable when they check in on you while youre stuffing your grill. But I digress from the point at hand.. The one and only reason I ever go and will ever go there for is the wings. I dont think Ive ever had anything else on the menu and will never have the need to. Well..mayb outside of the curly fries of course. But I could definitely go without such amenities. They even have different flavors/sauces now.
