My husband originally reached out to Hoosier Closets (now Inpsired Closets) regarding my main bedroom closet (there are his/her closets in there). Jessica did a rendering based on what we said we wanted, but then she came to the house to make sure everything looked good. Her customer service was excellent, and I loved how much she listened and suggested for us. We ended up not going for the main bedroom closet, but when I had the idea of redoing our pantry, we reached back out to Hoosier Closets/Jessica. We had her create a few different options for us, and she did come over to finalize our ideas in their platform (which is awesome, by the way - amazing 3D viewing and they can make changes on the fly quickly). We had another company come out to do our due diligence. Their price was a bit cheaper, but the options were less. They also drew all of the renderings on a piece of graph paper (which I appreciate), but that made it very difficult to visualize. After confirming with Hoosier Closets we wanted to move forward with them, we were on their schedule in about 2 weeks. It took them less than 3 hours to remove the shelving and install everything. They did explain to us about having to repaint the holes they filled in from the shelving, but we didn't expect to see as many as we did...which was just a "miss" on our part. We have used Hoosier Closets for three separate closet/storage areas in our home (slowly remodeling an old house), and I can't speak highly enough to the level of service or to the quality of the organizational systems they install. Skip and Jonie came to our house each time, measured, looked at the space, and then sat down with us in our dining room with a laptop and asked questions about our preferences and needs. Jonie created a sketch on her laptop in about 10 minutes, and after I reviewed it and asked for a few changes, she tweaked it and had us ready to go for an estimate. Their installers were back at our house a week later and had the whole system installed in an afternoon. The whole experience is fast, not nearly as expensive as you'd think (especially when you start adding up the cost of all the comparable parts and shelving you'd need from somewhere like The Container Store), and personalized. And Skip and Jonie are really friendly and accommodating. We have two more closets that still need overhauling and we will be calling Hoosier Closets again without hesitation. read more

We contacted Hoosier Closets to add a closet system to our master bedroom closet. After a few consultations we finalized our design plan and gave a down payment. 12 days before we were supposed to get our closet installed I got a phone call from the power stating she no longer had a contractor to install crown moulding and asked if I wanted to change the design plan or just do the crown ourselves. I was informed that I need to make my decision within the next two hours because she had to order the product by then to make our install date. I tried contacting a few people I knew who could install it for me but they wanted $400 to do it all. Keep in mind we have a BIG closet and there is lots of crown moulding. I got back to Jonie (the owner) to which she said she would only give a $175 credit. So not only did they break their contract with us they were in no way trying to fix the problem that I shouldn't have even had to deal with in the first place. After going back and forth I got very frustrated and extremely disappointed and told them to figure out their own crown molding problems to which the response I got was, "I have been trying for several days to find someone and none of my crown installers are available. I will send your deposit back and apologize that this didn't work out". And just like that they returned our deposit and won't do business with us. I found their company to be VERY unprofessional and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Now I have a closet that has been packed up and I had gotten it ready for install only to have to unpack and find another more professional company to work with. read more
