Since my last review I have gone to…read morea couple drag shows here and just last night we went with fairly short notice for a tribute presentation and show to film director David Lynch. David Lynch the Pacific Northwest... especially Washington State has a real attachment to David Lynch mainly because of the TV show Twin Peaks. This show wasn't to just honor his work with that show but for all of his films like Mulholland Drive, Blue Velvet, Eraserhead and more. There was a jazz band that started out followed by dancer, a atmospheric electro music performer and more each with their own musical styles. The presentation concluded with a singer who sang Julee Cruise's "Falling" the song that is the intro song to Twin Peaks (although it's instrumental). They had mixed drinks named Agent Cooper and you could even get a slice of cherry pie with damned good coffee!

He would even hype me up and share in my anticipation and excitement as the day of my event came closer. He made sure to listen to my drink preferences and put together a four-drink menu for me. The day of my event I was very pleased with the excellent service he provided. I loved the little drink menu he made with my name on it so my guests would know what is available and that gesture made me feel very special. He took care of me throughout the whole night bringing me my drinks to where I was; he made sure I was able to taste all the drinks on my menu without needing to ask. He took very good care of my guests and of my DJ (wish I had looked out for my DJ more but Luis made sure to taking him drinks). My guests raved about Luis/L Trago saying he provided excellent service, he was fun and lively and that the drinks were so good and he was very attentive to everyone's needs. He even danced with me once he was done serving, hyped me up during my party and was quick to respond to my requests such as serving up shots for the whole house. I cannot recommend L Trago enough and I will definitely be hiring him again.

got up saturday morning looking forward to what I thought was going to be my first time on a 1:32…read moretrack... not unhappy to say that I have rarely been more wronger. turns out that despite what it says on the wall they also race 1:24 scale cars here; 'car' being the operative word. the cars you race actually look like cars, only smaller! about 96% smaller but they are obviously real cars with wheels and tires and electric motors and subject to sudden power loss just like full-size electric cars ;-) wasn't sure if I'd get any track time because it's a race day but I figured that since I was here I'd have a look at how the other half lives. fortunately for me a light turnout left an open space so I was able to borrow a car to get me some laps and enter my first competitive event! yea!! on the down side I still don't know much about the scale racing crowd other than the racers are genial and tracks are a little slower but way drivier; it's kinda like the old VHS -vs- BetaMax discussions. for the casual driver it's not really a question of better or worse, it's a matter of what appeals (more fastly or more drivey?) and what's available. 132 is a great facility featuring scale model racing on a couple of different circuits with a couple tracks currently off-line including a straight line along the wall. Alan is more a host than a front man, ready to share his vast knowledge and stories to entertain as well as educate and introduce people to the world of little cars. and of course parts and accessories and cars are available for purchase. If you never have you really should. if you did you will. if you do you know: race what you like, like what you race, but above all it's supposed to be fun :-) guess I'm gonna buy at least one car when I come back.

I drove on over and rented the dispenser, which was really easy. When I returned, I rang the doorbell they tell you to ring in the back when returning items. I waited and waited and waited. I ended up going back up to the front to find out that no one was back there. No biggie but they should have the doorbell ring up front if no one is going to be back there. Pretty reasonably priced. The top of the beverage dispenser (lid area) was pretty scratched up and faded and looked a little trashy but no one seemed to notice since the beverage was pretty and poured easily. I would rent from them again.

The folks at Boston Harbor Photography did a fantastic job for my wedding. I had to warn Dan ahead of time he would have a bit of a challenge since my husband is a foot and a half taller than I am! We discussed poses ahead of time and all of the photos turned out lovely. Not only did they have to photograph my very tall husband and not-so tall me, they had to photograph my very large family as well. Dan and his assistant were on site before, during, and after the wedding. Both remained positive and cheerful during the entire 4 hours. I'm sure having lunch at our reception helped! I'd definitely hire Boston Harbor Photography again!

The Hall sports a Farmers' market on Saturdays from 10 - 12 with a nice assortment of pies and baked goods, jams, vegetables and arts and crafts ranging from elegant paintings to hand-crafted soap. There is also a local theater troop that does performance here although I have not had the good fortune of seeing one. We did rent this once for the wedding of a relative and it was perfect for a small, sweet, NW wedding.
