This little coffee place is very cute and crazy! I had not tried it but thanks to yep I found the gem. I'll definitely be back. Great coffee Spanish latte and the caprese sandwich was made to perfection. Me and my daughter actually shared it and were both satisfied. Service was great too.

Matcha presso

The matcha presso was great! It's tucked in a little corner with parking readily available nearby. My drink came out to around 6.45 with a large so fairly priced as well.

Haven't had coffee that stands out to me in a while but this quaint little place was such a pleasant surprise! We ordered a honey lavender latte and a rose vanilla latte and absolutely loved both of them, so much so that we couldn't decide if we wanted to trade or keep our drinks. The rose syrup is subtle but definitely there and complements the coffee so well, and the honey lavender syrups soo yumm. Couldn't say greater things about this place. They have Reese's cookies, Double Chocolate, and a Brookie and they looked so tempting we had to get one and it was soooo good! It feels really cozy inside and I saw a couple of people doing work. They have a shelf of games you can play as well and a maximized seating layout that doesn't make the space feel cramped.

Great neighborhood coffee spot -- ordered the Spanish Latte and the Honey Lavender Latte and both were really good! Plenty of parking, no line and lots of indoor seating -- we will definitely be back!

What a vibe! Great coffee, great customer service, great place to come get coffee. I definitely understand the hype about this place. Will be coming back for sure! Pro tip: can't go wrong with their triple chocolate chip cookie.

Quick and easy service, they do have alternative milk offerings. Vibes chill. Nothing too special to write home about.

This was our first time here. The drinks were great and it was comfortable inside. We'll be back.

Great place for your local brew. Service is friendly and clean. They have some limited food items. We tried the avocado toast and croissant, delicious.

Friendly staff, great tasting drinks and decent prices. We had the iced lavender latte and hot matcha and they were both delicious.

The service here is so kind and unbeatable. I was studying here for my boards and the person behind the counter recommended the latte and avocado toast. I love both options and am very pleased with the place overall!

Second time here because the first time I came the folks were super nice and very friendly. I asked if they could make an iced shaken espresso for me, it wasn't on the menu but I just asked just to make conversation out of it. Bad idea . The lady barked back at me saying they don't make those and to go to Starbucks for that, my wife even felt the anger in her voice, I know you need to have a shaker to make that type of drink but it was just a question and I was ok with them not being able to make that type of thing, totally ruined the experience, well anyhow, we grabbed our coffees and sat down and hung out for a bit. Coffee was good but I won't be back again,

Love this local coffee/tea shop! The food and drinks are delicious and fresh. The ambiance is very casual and relaxed. It's a great place to hand out with a friend. Servers are very pleasant.

777 Croissant and Spanish Latte
Jhannell O.

Stopped by late morning to re-caffienate at this cafe in the corner of an unassuming plaza. There was a good amount of parking at that time I arrived. There was a decent amount of seating, 1 long table and 3 small tables, and outlets scattered around. I ordered a Spanish Latte and it was perfectly balanced. Sweet and spiced but the coffee flavor is still in tact. I also got their 777 Croissant which is basically a ham and cheese croissant with a honey glazed exterior. I like how you can opt out of the honey glaze but I wanted to give it a try today. It was a little sweet paired with my drink so I'd probably opt out of the honey next time. The croissant also takes ~10 minutes to make, so be mindful of that if you're in a time crunch!

Everything we ordered (Iced Vanilla Matcha, Iced Spanish Latte, Call Me Caprese Sandwich, and Lucky Croissant).

Ask the Community - Hooked On Coffee

Do they have low sugar options, or no syrup options for their drinks?

Yes for the coffees they do. Not sure about the boba milk teas as I believe those contain some sugar.

Have they raised their prices? Always order the same thing and it totals $11 today I ordered and it was $12?

Yes, I talked to one of the girls at the counter and she told me that due to the increase of prices of supply and due to the boba shortage they had to slightly increase the prices. I personally don't mind this because they have some of the tastiest… Read more

What's their best tasting served tea?

By far if you want something refreshing to quench your thirst it is the passion paradise iced tea. So good.

Do they take apple pay?

I haven't been here in the past week or two, but been a loyal customer since they opened. As far as I know, the answer is, "They do not at this time."

The Flavor combination is top tier. I live how it contains its bitter/strong coffee notes throughout the drinking experience. LFTD recently made an announcement that they are being evicted by their landlord and will close…read moredown this brick-and-mortar location by the end of this year (December 29th, 2025). A week before the announcement was made, I came here to try their famous blue tortilla breakfast burrito. [Parking]: There's a free public parking structure located one block away from the coffee shop (6738 Comstock Ave, Whittier, CA 90601). [Atmosphere]: Super crowded on Sunday & I was not able to find a place to sit. I ultimately ordered my breakfast burrito to-go. They also have a section of cafe that sell vintage clothing. [Menu]: For the signature breakfast burrito, they actually have 6 options - classic breakfast burritos (bacon - $16.50), Prime Steak (grass-fed prime steak $20.50), the Ultimate Burrito (grass-fed prime steak + avocado + bacon), Chilaquiles ($15.50), Chorizo ($16.00), and Vegan ($16.00). They also sell their cold brew cafe de olla in giant plastic bags that look like IV drip bags at the refrigerated section. [Ordering]: Customers can order at the cashier counter or order via kiosk (they use Toast). I reviewed their breakfast burrito options at 12 PM and they ran out of classic breakfast burrito. I ended up with prime steak breakfast burrito instead. Unfortunately I waited 45 minutes before they had my order ready and I could tell other customers were not too patient with their orders as they kept walking up to the pick-up counter & checked the ordering status. *** Prime Steak Breakfast Burrito (grass fed prime steak, scrambled egg, Monterey Jack cheese, crema, pico de gallo, tri-colored peppers, hash browns - $20.50): Unlike other breakfast burrito I have had at other places, this breakfast burrito had blue tortilla. The portion was a bit smaller than I expected, but chewy steak + crispy hash browns + roasted peppers + red salsa = one delicious and s-tier tasting breakfast burrito. *** While LFTD serves one of the best 5-star worthy breakfast burritos I have ever had in LA + Orange County, I have to take off a star due to extremely long wait time on food order. Please do yourself a favor and place an online order at least 30 minutes ahead of time if you want to try their breakfast burritos ( https://www.toasttab.com/local/order/lift-6701-greenleaf-ave ).

That said, once we finally reached the window, the experience turned around. We ordered an iced banana horchata latte and a regular iced horchata latte, and both drinks were worth the wait. The horchata flavor was smooth and well-balanced, not overly sweet, with a nice cinnamon note that complemented the coffee instead of overpowering it. The banana version added a subtle, natural sweetness that made it feel a little more unique without being artificial or heavy. Even with the long line, the quality of the drinks stood out. I'm really glad I did because I think this just became my new go-to coffee order. I'd describe the Seoul latte as almost like a cousin to a Vietnamese iced coffee. It's lighter and slightly less sweet, which I personally really enjoy. Before trying this, my usual go-to was the Cubano con Leche from Tierra Mia. That drink is delicious, but it's very rich, creamy, and caffeine-heavy -- almost more of a dessert coffee to me. I usually only get it sparingly because it can feel a bit heavy, especially on busy days when I want something lighter. This Seoul latte feels like the perfect addition to the rotation: sweet and flavorful without being overpowering, and much lighter overall. The location itself is also really unique and stands out from the street. The interior has a cool aesthetic with a bunch of biking merchandise throughout the shop.
