Where's YOUR loyalty to your customers corner place? Just leaving and not as a satisfied customer. I have been a customer here for a couple of years using their loyalty card and we supported this place during the pandemic as well. It takes me time to earn my rewards because it's a treat. I walk in today excited to redeem my free treat based on their previous loyalty card and was told that as of a month ago they will now only discount $3 based on their new loyalty card...It's petty maybe but it took me almost a year. I ask the clerk for a manager or owner contact info but she dismissed me saying they'll only say the same thing. Their drinks are not exceptional. Omg some Karen came in and yelled at the two young female workers because she didn't get her free drink. It was a spectacle... Her poor child look mortified at what was happening. Clearly it's the pandemic and small businesses are hurting so they have to adjust for what works best for them. It states on the checkout plexiglass that the rewards have changed, plus the girls are just following what the owners have chosen I do with their business -- it's not the workers' fault, so why are you yelling at them? We take our nieces and nephew to Corner Place from time to time. Nice layout and ambiance. Too bad the place is not bigger though. We are always a party of 6, and there is only one table that can accomodate us all. Usually that table is already occuppied with a couple of people just hanging out and chatting or studying. I've tried a variety of items from their menu. Most of it has been good except for one thing. Their Acai bowl is disappointing. Base was way too watery for my liking. Carrot cake is good. Pumpkin cheesecake is a tiny piece of yummyness (if you like pumpkin). Macaron ice cream sandwiches are delish. Avocado toast is simple and tasty. Their drinks are our family's favorite things at Corner Place. The Skyfall Milk Tea is the flavor we like the most. Will continue to return whenever we get the opportunity. read more

I think this place, out of all the local boba locations, is a hidden gem. Sure, their selection may be limited, and their proportions are not like Uno's, but I really feel their boba drinks stand out from the local places. Especially the butterfly milk tea. I remember having a good experience drinking it. I've also enjoyed their house milk tea: fire as well. I love stamp cards, due to the joy of getting a drink's price off: this is one of the places that still do this (at least since the last time I've visited). I'm pretty sure they have sugar and ice adjustments, if my memory serves me correct. I couldn't really ask for more from the place (except for cheese foam, if they don't have it). I hope this place gets more attention, and stays in business. Even though it's not my top favorite boba place, it deserves a 5 star rating imo. read more

Yeah... This place is delicious and so nice to sit and have a cup (or two.) The decor is beautiful and modern. They have a comfy couch and chairs to hang out or work. Horchata Frappe is soooo bomb. Love the texture of the ice & the cinnamon of the horchata. Mouth watering! Also had the Spanish latte, tasted a bit on the burnt side but it was good. 4-stars since the last time I went, I placed an order to go. This review is primarily based on the lavender latte! My fave! I'm not sure why it's different here, but it's the best I have found. This place is clean and they are super nice. The jumbo chocolate chip cookies are delicious, too! Honestly, I can eat the whole thing, but I would recommend sharing it or saving half for later. Pretty good little drink shop, been here a few time over the years. It's in a weird little spot that you will miss very easily if your driving to fast. I'm a new coffee lover and have started to explore Whittier for flavorful and unique spots for a novice like myself. I've seen posts about the Spanish Latte and I thought, why not?? I tried this and a Chocolate croissant. The croissant: sumptuous and decadent. The chocolate was not overwhelming which can happen. It was enough to give it a rich flavor, but the buttery croissant still was the main star. I asked the barista about the Spanish Latte and she said that the coffee flavor was not overpowering. She was right. It was subtle, yet not non-existent. Since I am still a newbie, I don't like a strong taste of coffee and this drink was perfect. The reason I gave 4 and not 5 is because there is a stand with shelves that they sell knick-knacks that don't really go with the theme. Maybe sell coffe-related items. Cups, mugs, plates, etc. I'll definitely come back. I saw some teas that I would love to try!! read more

The atmosphere is so cute and there is plenty of seating. I got an Americano but it was terribly tangy and bitter I had to throw it away. In all fairness, their forte is milk teas and not coffee so my review might not be reflective of their entire menu. We ordered the Skyfall Butterfly Milk Tea and the Almond Milk Tea with boba and custard pudding. The Skyfall tea tastes like sweetened milk, the hubby really liked it. I don't remember how many times I've been here but it's time to write a well-deserved 5-star review. I personally believe good quality boba in Whittier is hard to find and this shop is definitely my ultimate fav for the city. The interior is super cute and trendy (great for selfie/insta lovers) and the service each time is impeccable! Most importantly though, their boba teas are delicious! Ive had their iced teas, hot teas, smoothies and even a waffle ice cream (specially made during their grand opening)--All have been either good or really good. I keep coming back, which says a lot! It's a nice place to bring a friend to catch up or to get a quick to go order. I even called in a large order once for my co-workers and they were quick and helpful over the phone! I don't have a favorite here because I find all the drinks equally delicious but their skyfall tea is beautiful to look at and makes your tummy happy. My bf loves their matcha green tea smoothie. We made a large order for our team and they not only made it exactly as we wanted (with every detail!) but it was very good. Why the bad reviews? Give this new business a chance. Greeted right away by one of the workers. We had a question about a drink and she couldn't give us a straightforward answer and that's when the owner came out to help us out. We ended up getting the Skyfall Butterfly Milk Tea and their Coconut Milk Tea with boba for both. The Skyfall one (Blue drink in pictures) was a very interesting flavor, but wasn't a big fan. However, the Coconut Milk Tea was one of the best I've ever had. It wasn't too sweet, but it wasn't too plain either. We were talking and she told us they brew their teas in house without adding all the powders and artificial flavors that other places do and I was very pleased to hear that. The only downside I had besides that blue drink, was the boba. I love honey boba, but it was just a little too sweet for my taste. So, why am I giving them four stars and not lower? The owner asked us how the drinks were, if we needed it to be sweeter or not. She engaged in conversation and madenus feel welcome. It's our opinions that count and if we don't tell them, they'll nver know what to change and what not to change. Pretty decent place. I hope this does well.
