This location is a ten minute walk from the Copenhagen train station. The restaurant is small but very clean and welcoming. I visited on a cold sunny afternoon in early March . The fried pollack and caesar salad with a glass of wine was perfect for an early dinner. The fish was perfectly cooked, flaky and hot and the salad was crisp and tasty. Aside from being a little bit warm inside when I went, the experience was fantastic. We did the chef's menu and they were more than accommodating for our vegan friend. I enjoyed how each dish was prepared and this was my favorite spot of those I visited while in Copenhagen. I had the tostada, fish and chips, and chocolate ice cream. It was all simple food (in the best way) but very tasty. The chocolate ice cream was salted and really exceptional, and their fish and chips were better than what I've tasted from their British neighbors to the west. I'd definitely recommend this place (but I would encourage patrons to sit in a slightly more ventilated spot of the interior during a rainy, warm day). read more

YUM! The menu and the reviews I saw had us initially unsure if this was the type of vibe we wanted for dinner. The poke bowl was served in black rice with seaweed salad, avocado, edamame and ginger with a mayo and soy sauce dressing. The salmon was fresh and the bowl was delicious. Service was a little weird, I greeted a waitstaff member and probably stood there for like 5 minutes before anyone said anything to me. And then they helped some dude who had just stood up before me.. weird? So I get my food eventually, take it back to my hotel, and I got the wrong sandwich. Strangely enough my favorite thing about this restaurant wasn't the seafood (it's amazing), the ambiance (cozy), or the service (very attentive) but the Mac and Cheese croquettes. They're perfectly fried with a bit of a heat kick and, paired with the truffle mayo, are now the standard for all other Mac and Cheese croquette. I've come by 4 times to bring various people to taste the salt and vinegar fries. 1) pollock sandwich - great wow factor when served, had to eat with fork by the end 2) salmon burger - just as tasty as the pollock, but not as inspiring in presentation 3) pollock salad - good if you need to eat something green 4) whole lobster - pretty good value for a lobster and fries 5) American lobster roll - tasty but very small Truffle mayo was well loved for fans of truffle, but I prefer the black garlic mayo for dipping my fries. The ingredients used were fresh and full of flavor. I came with my colleagues and we had ordered a variety from the menu. The dishes ordered were the salmon burger, American lobster roll, fish and chips, and the Mexican lobster roll. Everyone was pleasantly surprised with the perfect portion of food and the taste of each dish. They were all freshly prepared so it might take a while for it to come out. Make sure you order a beer or beverage of choice while you wait! The Mexican lobster roll came out warm (not cold) and flavorful. The fries were topped with vinegar which added a kick to the fries. They were crunchy and appetizing. The sauces that you could choose from were also good as well. I chose the pea/mint sauce and it was a unique taste with my fries.
