Great! We came here on a low-key weekday for lunch. We had our choice of seats and a nice view of the marina. The food was fresh and tasty and so were the drinks. The Coconut Lime drink was the absolute best! You also have company with chickens and iguanas that prowl the patio. Don't feed them, and the staff chases them away if they become bothersome. The food is really good at Hook'd! Our family of three enjoyed the mahi bites for an appetizer. Our three entrees were delicious! Fish and chips, mahi tacos, and pork belly were great, and the sauces were yummy too. Our server Doug E Fresh was great. Great service and really good food overlooking a marina- nice ambiance. Hook'd was our go to restaurant whenever we didn't have reservations. We went here for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the service was always good and the food always delicious. For breakfast I had the eggs Benedict, my husband had the egg sandwich. For lunch we had, the pork belly (highly recommend it), fish tacos (AMAZING) yogurt with fruits, tuna tacos and for dinner we had wings, burrata salad with crab cakes, and my husband got the fish tacos again because he says these are the best fish tacos he's ever had. Hookd is a great option for anytime of the day. Their drinks are also made strong! No skimping on the liquor here. read more

As pictured - Yellowfin Tuna lettuce wraps - so delicious. I literally could sit there all night eating these. The yellowfin was fresh and the sauce topping really added a nice flavor . I was most impressed that this came on a lettuce wrap, keeping the calories low so you can enjoy more drinks for the added sugar and calories. . The portions are generous and the prices are standard for the location. It can be a challenge to find parking because Red Hook is a hopping place, so plan accordingly. On the "Good-Meh-Suck" scale, this was a solid "Good". We went for breakfast prior to leaving the island that day. We found the place not too busy. A few idiots ignored the "don't feed the chickens" sign as their parents watched The omelette was fine. The potatoes could have been cut smaller and had more onions and/or peppers to liven them up. First time in Saint Thomas and this restaurant was by far the best food we've had here. We came for dinner (had the scallops and wahoo specials) with lemon basil cream sauce. Both entrees were delicious! We then returned two days later for breakfast and ordered the chefs special. Chef Teshawn personally made and brought out three unique breakfast dishes (T's McGriddle, grilled cheese scramble, and shrimp breakfast wrap). I was so excited to try seafood here. Ordered the shrimp warm and it came mushy and inedible. The waitress asked if we wanted it replaced??? Of course I told her. Egg yolk stared flowing when cut into, shrimp was cooked perfectly, potatoes had a light-crisp on the outside with fluffy (yet fulfilling), and bacon was cooked evenly. Overall, the food had a good, mild flavor that left you fulfilled and feeling good (not heavy or greasy). The environment, right off the dock, was beautiful and relaxing with an outdoor island bar vibe. The service was great until post meal. We waiting longer than we hoped to get the bill. Stumbled upon this place while in Red Hook. Finally found great food on the island . Been disappointed for first five days of trip but this place was great. Best Fish tacos I've had in a long time. Grilled fresh Mahi with avacado and just right amount of seasoning . Drinks were strong, recommend the sangria. Hook'd was a great find! The restaurant seating is mostly on a back patio which is covered on top but not the sides, which was really nice for a somewhat rainy but still warm night. Food came out fast and service was friendly. I really enjoyed the Baby Boston Wedge and the Seared Yellowfin, they were flavorful and creative and not too cold to the point where it doesn't taste fresh. The pomegranate vinaigrette on the salad was an awesome touch. The Yellowfin Lettuce Wraps were also good but had kind of a lot going on, sort of tasted like it had guacamole, some sort of ginger and soy sauce, and a mayo based sauce on top as well. And I really enjoyed the strawberry bread pudding, it was pillowy soft and definitely felt baked with love :) read more

Was honestly a little disappointed that a side of 5 or 6 small/medium-sized plantains were $10. Service was quick. Staff was a bit pushy with the food. When we ran out of bread for our dip, they asked if we wanted more. We said yes thinking it was complementary. They then recommended Crostini because it was less expensive. The food was mixed. The fish and chips was fantastic. Best I've ever had. The fish taco was not great. The fish was a dry and too and came in a block like a slice of tofu. Location is nice, right but n Red Hook with outside view of the ocean and local catamarans. We went here for lunch in the early afternoon. Just the bartender was really nice and friendly. The place is seat yourself, so we sat near in the corner but my girlfriend burned herself on the seat. He helped us into a shady table and got our drinks to us within minutes. My girlfriend loved the Hooked Away With Me cocktail. For food we had the yellowfin lettuce wrap's, and a wedge salad. This is for breakfast the last two mornings. Staff is as good as at a fine dining place. Couldn't be more friendly and attentive. Coffee is the best I've had out, in a long, long time. Four dishes were all home runs, expertly cooked, seasoned well and presented nicely. French toast breakfast sandwich a great mix of sweet n savory - easily could have fed two people. Single choc chip pancake was about the size of a dinner plate. Lite and fluffy with crisp edges - my only complaint is they serve syrup in the lil packets you get at a Hampton Inn breakfast. Owners/manager/chef - you have stepped up your game everywhere else, get rid of these... Breakfast Tacos, again probably feed two. Two nice sized tacos filled with perfectly scrambled eggs, diced avocado and comes with a BOMB aioli sauce, wrapped in grilled tortillas. Comes with a side of perfectly cooked/crispy breakfast potatoes with onion n peppers. Standard American breakfast was huge and filling. Potato, choice of meat, only one slice of toast though, eggs cooked perfectly soft scrambled. Speaking of the eggs, it states you get two, there had to be 4-5 on my plate. Great food, great value, great service.... Ohhh and the COFFEE!!!! read more
