It just saddens me because I fell in love with this place the first time I tried it in March. I would come every single weekend. I loved it, it was a great atmosphere compared to other hookah lounges. I'm a big fan of hip hop music and that's all that plays on the big screens. But then I had a hiatus from showing up until Late June. And that was the worst experience ever , I was just so disappointed. The main girl that's always there smiled at me because she recognized me. After not showing up for months , I was flattered. But as I sat down with my friends, we had ordered one hookah. And they were just lacking with coal changes. We must've had burnt coal for about 30mins and Everytime I'd ask someone when they were going to change the coal , they kept reassuring me that it would just take a few minutes. We waited and waited, it wasn't just a few minutes. We weren't smoking anything for about half an hour. It was just an utterly waste of time , plus on behalf of that, the music videos on the big screens just repeat themselves over and over. As we waited for our coal, we must've watched the same music video for a specific song play about 3 times. It was annoying, we kept asking each other , "wait didn't they play that song already?" If you're gona make us wait THAT long for coal , might as well entertain us the correct way and fix the damn music. At least play different songs ?? Like Jesus. I just got so irritated, I had actually brought two friends that never tried hookah before to this place I considered an amazing, fun hookah lounge. But I felt ashamed for them to have had their first time here at this location that night. I was so disappointed and still am. We just finally got up to pay and leave because the coal still wasn't ready! The owner was the one that had actually check us out. I had ask him if we can possibly receive a discount because of the long wait for the coal change, and he just shook his head and gave such a smirk, and was like "Next Time." And that seriously just got to me. Like he honestly thinks there would be a next time! Never again!! I was beginning to become a loyal customer until that one night. There was this other time where it was super chilly outside and the owner had the doors open. It was driving me nuts because I had my jacket on and was still cold. I politely asked the owner if he can close the doors.. And he didn't! He just kept them wide open! It totally ruined the vibe I tried to have during that night. The owner just cares about how many people actually show up to his place, instead of how his customers are actually feeling during their visit. It's ridiculous. I'm still ashamed and disappointed for this place. You'd think that they'd do anything for customers to keep coming back and for them to actually feel as though they are appreciated for even giving them business. They could honestly care less. Keep replaying the same exact music video on your big screens as if your televisions are broken or something? It's so annoying! read more
