This is the head of a massive lingcod caught off shore of SB using tackle from the Shop!

Hook, Line and sinker has been around for years. Everyone that goes always has a good experience! The shop has been through multiple owners and each one I had no complaints about.

Striped Bass

I'm a Midwest lake fisherman learning ocean fishing. This place has amazing service. They are knowledgeable of the area, current fishing habits, what's working and what's not. Good range of lure/bait selection for fish in the area. First trip out, went solely on the recommendation of the staff for bait and location. Came back with a bucket of sand bass! Best place around!

hook line and sinker is under new ownership, they have everything you will need to catch fish on the central and south coast.

After calling several Parts and VW Dealers, with no help, someone had recommended West Marine. Brian answered the call with Professional Knowledge and Advice. I wanted to find the best Batteries, front and rear I could find, and had read. Marine, heavy duty! Batteries were the ticket! We zipped over and was impressed with the Store. Brian explained what we needed. Brian went way over and above helping us on our way! This guy is the Hardware expert you never find at normal Hardware Stores. Ask for Brian!

Could hardly believe so I went to the register and sales person did a confirmation price check. It is also their online price. No emergency so at that price, I'll wait. Went home and found same part on Amazon at 2 pieces for $14.99, or $7.50 per (see attached pics). I understand the need to support local brick and mortar retail and also am willing to pay a small premium for the convenience of obtaining a needed item "right now". However, this mark-up is straight up consumer gauging. Sure, they have every right to charge what they wish, but this doesn't work for me. How about you?
