After dropping us off, he had to return from Timberline to the airport to pick up other customers and take them most of the way back to Mt. Hood. He was extremely patient and calm. He actually was reassuring me not to worry, he would be able to manage both trips. Well, he certainly did in the face of very difficult circumstances. He encountered an accident on the way up and another one on the way down, both of which delayed him. He also faced whiteout conditions on Mt. Hood. He handled all of this calmly and expertly. The gentlemen we had were friendly and took care of all of our luggage. The company has great communication. We were scheduled to be picked up at 4:45am but at around 9pm the night before I started getting nervous that we should leave a few minutes earlier, so I sent them an email asking if we could leave at 4:30am instead, really not expecting anyone to respond in time. They actually emailed me back within 10 minutes and confirmed the earlier pick-up time. Then, our return flight landed at PDX (an unheard of!) 40 minutes early. As soon as we touched down I texted the number to see if there would be any way someone could come pick us up for 40 minutes earlier than planned, again not necessarily expecting a response - especially since it was close to midnight. However, they texted me back instantly that my driver would be in touch with me soon, and sure enough our driver texted me within a few minutes. By the time we grabbed our suitcases off of the conveyor and walked a few minutes to the curb, our driver was already there and waiting despite us being 40 minutes early - and, again, it was close to midnight on a Wednesday. In both instances, Mark was there before the scheduled time, with a splendidly-clean vehicle. For the return pickup (at PDX), he was there, at the curb, waiting for us to emerge from the terminal, and signaled to us just as we walked out the door. Amazing. Our waitress was great. She stopped back often to check on us. She explained that they have been at this location for several years. The restrooms were in the area where they make the wine and beer. I love getting a look at others production area. Nice place to visit and relax. They have some games, nice stage in the back and a fun area to sit and enjoy wine or beer.
