The top of a tree fell on a transformer and was hanging on the line causing a power surge into our home. My husband shutoff the main box into the house and notified Adams Electric. We could smell something burning in the house so I texted Will at Longworks around 6 AM. He arrived at 6:30 AM to investigate for us. By the time the electric company got the limb off the line, he had identified all the items that had been fried by the surging power. He's always been great to work with and he does his best to make sure you're safe. Great business.

I'm involved with getting work done for several family and rental properties. Gave SES a try on an easy job - putting in a replacement bulb on a garage flood light which is too high to reach easily. I provided the bulb to them. Service was OK but then the bill came. $175 billed for labor and equipment for a ten minute task. A fair price is probably $25. Ethically challenged. Frankly if they were smart they would have waived the fee because I I have a lot of business to send their way. I recommend steering clear of these guys. Gouging on contractor fees definitely not something we need in Stewartstown.

I have…read morecontacted over 12 electricians and Jim was the most competitive one and even provided free estimates. Several other electrical companies charged over $100 just to come out and do an estimate before even doing any work - I found this to be ridiculous and decided to go with "James Morrow Electrician and Handyman." I can tell you right away that I made a solid decision as that Jim did a great job from the gecko! He was very responsive, professional and explained everything he is going to do over the phone so that I felt comfortable with choosing him as a professional. When he arrived, he was very respectful to the property. He did not mind me watching him install the electrical outlets in my home and explain how the whole system works. Jim did a fantastic job of eliminating one of my existing electrical outlets and moving it up. He also installed a new GFI outlet in my bathroom so that I can hook up my beloved Japan-style bidet toilet. Overall Jim is very knowledgeable and experienced in his electrical work, as well as very meticulous in little details. He takes pride in his job from start to finish to ensure the job is done right the first time. I felt very comfortable with Jim and "James Morrow Electrician and Handyman." Thank you Jim and I will definitely be using this business for any and all the future electrical work around the house. You can be rest assured that the "James Morrow Electrician and Handyman" is on my speed-dial if any future projects or issues arise. I am very glad that I found a local business that I can trust.
