No pressure, no rush and was quick to answer any questions we had about the food. Loaded up OMG the food. Started with the "cheese bread". Once it came out, we realized most people call them a calzone but it was SO good that I should've just eaten that alone as my lunch. I ended up with a "slice" of sausage and pepperoni pizza. Since it is really the only game in town, we had dinner here. Both of us had the chili. Mine with cheese. Very good and tasty. The bread that accompanies it was excellent. If you're in Honoka'a this place is a must! The pastrami on rye is excellent, but the pizza was perhaps the most surprising! The crust is perfectly thin and crispy, yet still with some chew, and the red sauce was so full of flavor. I was very pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent and very tasty. Ordered the Korean wings that were fresh, crisp and deliciously juicy and meaty. My family loved the ranch sauce for the wings and pizza. The toppings are very affordable and the pizza slices were huge and great portions to have. I had a sausage and pineapple slice -- utterly delectable! Highly recommend. Stopped here after a on our way back to Hilo. There wasn't much open on a Saturday evening, but this place was open and I am so happy it was. We got a large Smoke House pizza and it feed 5 adults and we still had a couple of pieces left over. It's was sooooo good and you could smell the smoked meat on it. I think next time though I would request for just a little more sauce on the pizza. I'll definitely be adding this to my list of places I have to come back to on our next Big Island visit. Pizza was really good as was the pastrami sandwich. The pizzas came about 15 minutes before the sandwich so I didn't get my meal until everyone else was almost done. The young man at the bar who was also serving the tables was at best apathetic at worst, straight up rude. As we walked in, we said hi to him and he rolled his eyes and barely greeted us. Very cold service. One word answers and just acted like we were annoying him by being there. I sure he was probably overworked but still no reason to make people feel the way he did. I left sort of sad and upset and it took me a few days to write this as I wanted to sit on it and think but I'm sure that other patrons or management would want to know so they could maybe staff better orp support him so it doesn't spill out to the front of the house. read more

This place is great! The staff is awesome and friendly. The portions are generous and the food is delicious! Best pizza on the island for sure! The wings are also really good and is actually crispy! The pastrami on rye, with sauerkraut and pickle spear was excellent. Marbled rye, housemade pastrami and housemade "Ukrainian Freedom Dressing" was legit and entirely unexpected in this part of Big Island. I liked the ratio of meat, cheese, kraut but some carnivores might want more pastrami. The tater tots were a let down sadly. They need to be deep fried and I think these were old and pan-fried. And they had no salads at all even though several listed on menu, probably a produce delivery prob. I bought one at the gas station down the block LOL. Ordered pizzas to go. Was treating some friends and wanted to try the pizza as last time we were there was under different ownership. Pizza was excellent! Zero complaints on the food. The prices though, I'm afraid we won't be buying pizza to go again anytime soon. We got 2 large, 1 white dragon and one pepperoni. Out the door at around $70. They had a very decent selection of liquor and the beer was ice cold. We hung out for a couple rounds just to take a break from shopping. The bartender/waitress was super attentive and very friendly. Stopped in to show our granddaughter one of the best places in Honokaa to get pizza We ordered 2 pizzas one totally meat and the second Pineapple and ham. Both pizza arrived hot and sliced we couldn't eat much. We got full. But the pizza was great We also had nachos. ThaT was served hot and very good Beers very cold. The floors are sticky, most nights it's only one or two ppl working and as the bartender try's their best to serve everyone it's still a one man show. The owner sits in the bar and drinks everyday and doesn't say a word. The food is straight trash. If you go to the gas station down the road you'll get more for your buck. The place needs a overhaul cleaning an new face. It's very rundown. Pretty sad seeing it's the only bar in town. Do not recommend. read more

I am a very picky eater so like believe me when I say I like the BBQ pineapple pizza, believe me it is good. (If you're a pineapple on pizza person, we're out there, I know it!) When I'm not feeling like meat, which is often, I adore their Caesar salad, especially when you add tomatoes. They also have an amazing veggie burger, which come with tater tots!!! The people in the kitchen know what they are doing and it shows in every meal! As for the service? Phenomenal!! Tim is such a sweet guy, he always makes sure to ask if I want something to drink as soon as I sit down. Anastasia is adorable and very polite!
