If you're looking for a decent customer service experience then this place isn't it. This location…read morehas THE WORST customer service. They have no problem ignoring you and even giggle about it and talk trash about you while talking trash about their co-workers. If you ask them for help they tend to get fussy. I've seen this happen many times at THIS LOCATION and it's happened to me too. This was at night too and I've noticed that this location, particularly at night, has very rude employees. At the ending of the day it is a gas station and I'm there to get what I need and be on my way. Their food is great, I must say. The fried chicken and potato wedges--or even bentos is a MUST when stopping there. ***I was just there last night, 7/14/26 and there were 2 employees on the floor talking smack about one of their co-workers. I grabbed what I needed and waited at the register. The employee was standing about 6 feet away from me making drum noises on a pile of boxes and I asked her if anyone was at the register. She said "Yeah, SHE IS" and pointed to the other employee pulling trash from the hot food area. There was also another customer standing behind me waiting to check-out. The drumming of boxes continued too from the other employee.*** If you don't need to go there, go to the next gas station. They are my "emergency only" gas station and when on empty I'll put in $10 (when I actually need $85-$100) and fill up at the next gas station that deserves the business. 5 stars for food and 1 for customer service.

We were served THE most delicious fried chilen by the sweet auntie back there cooking away. Mac salad was THE bomb! The chicken katsu plate with two huge scoops of rice and a big scoop of that mac salad. It was the same fried chicke in bite size pieces and teriyake sauce to pour over top. Sweet Mother of Mercy everything was ono to the MAX. I highly recommend this Minit Stop for a meal.

Extra star for awesome, friendly service! We wanted to try this famous gas station fried chicken…read more They have various combos and it wasn't quite obvious what to order for the family. But the lady working there was so nice and explained everything! They even signed me up for the discount card. Mahalo for being so kind to this clueless mainlander! We got the 2 orders of the combo with 2 chicken thighs and 1 drumstick and 3 pieces of fried, batter dipped potato wedges. Pieces were large and meaty. It was a lot of food! Only $8.99 with the discount card for each box. The potatoes were tender and quite tasty. We really enjoyed them. Chicken itself was flavorful, although we found the crust too salty. It was a tiny bit dry. Not sure how long it had been sitting there. The crust was very crunchy. Everything was hot and well packaged. Overall, a great deal and worth a try if you're in the area! Location of this one is very convenient - just South of the airport and near the Costco.

My boyfriend really wanted the tonkatsu, but they had just run out, so we grabbed the fried chicken and the chili with rice and mac and ended up sharing everything. It totally hit the spot. Comfort food, super flavorful, and way better than we expected for a late-night convenience store stop. Not fancy, but when you're hungry and everything's closed, Minit Stop comes through.

A nice, convenient place to fill up da tank before returning the car, and as a bonus, I get to eat my fave "gas-station K-chicken" with a scoop of rice! The chicken pieces have gotten bigger, with lotsa krunchy skin, all soaked in their really yummy korean sauce. Grab a small container, get a piece of chicken or two, scoop a bit of their sauce and put it over the rice ... and yum! Two thumbs up! Skin and all, down the hatch - well, I guess once or twice a year (on my Kona visits) should be okay huh? We all live once and gotta enjoy sometimes! :D However, maybe my heart might disagree just a little bit... oh well...

That was very good stuff with Lobster and celery and a little Mayo. I think that was imitation Lobster meat because if it was the real McCoy the price would be much more expensive lol

Got into the car and pulled out the most measly looking price of backbone I'd every seen I've heard stories of this happening to tourists but didn't expect it to happen to me I went back in and laid it on the counter and said, excuse me, I asked for a drumstick, not a backbone, and they apologized while the ladies in the back watched and they were laughing. My girlfriend that has lived on the island for the last 20 years, apologized for them and said that she should've gone in with me. I will say the fried chicken was good, but not worth the customer service
