Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - ordered a Hunan Roast Pork Dinner Special. Slight kick to the food but decent overall. The sliced pork seems to be cooked separately and then just added to the different dishes with the sauce and other ingredients. Service: 4/5 - English wasn't the cashier's primary language so she did sound a bit rude but it was very efficient service and to the point! Ambiance: n/a - only available for to go orders. The chairs are placed on top of the tables so it's not welcoming customers to sit. The wallpapers are peeling and decorations are faded. The bathrooms have a sign that says out of order but one of the workers used it while I was waiting for our food. Value for price: 4/5 - decent food, quick service, reasonable price. Wonderful food. Truly Chinese!!! No other beats it in Princeton, WV.!!!! The General Tsao's chicken is crispy and not soggy like the other Chinese restaurants. We used to eat at Hong Kong about once a week, until last night, it was close to closing time about 8:00 they were closing at 9:00. I ordered a hot n sour soup, and house lo mein. The food was awful, I wish if they weren't going to give fresh food they would have just said we are out of it today. The soup was very thick, tasted scorched and had no tofu pieces in it at all, must have been what had set there all day and was the last of the bottom of the pot, it was disgusting had to throw it away. The lo mein the noodles were very sticky and didnt have much meat in it at all. Atleast it was edible but the taste was not something that makes me want to go back ever again. Used to frequent here a lot when I lived in the area. Very convenient that they stay open late, and very tasty food! Especially if you're hungover (haha) the only downside is the fact that the staff there is always so hateful. Other than that it's good food at a fair price. read more

Driving from Charlotte toward Pittsburgh, we hit upon this scary little town of Princeton,WV. It was around 8pm in the night and it was just dark everywhere. Found this Chinese restaurant behind an old shopping complex. We decided to eat here anyway as the next little town was at least 80 miles away. The waitress was unusually looking petite and might be mistaken for a primary school girl. The food was costing around 7.25 and got a ton of food! Around 2 people could eat with one order. I got the combo that comes with the spring roll. The spring roll was gigantic! That alone could suffice your hunger. Four of us went and ordered four individual orders. Food was very tasty but it was a big waste and we had to throw away most of the left overs A definite must try if you are driving through the town of Princeton,WV. I had not eaten here in a very long time but remembered that it was fantastic. I was so disappointed. I had set up an date night at home and was so excited for my husband to get home with General Tso chicken and fried rice. I wasn't instantly let down with first bite of rice. It was so dry and hard that it crunched in my teeth. I tried adding soy sauce which helps a bit but in the end I wasn't able to eat to eat it. The chicken was terrible! I could chew and chew it and it would not chew up. It was like a paste. I tried several pieces and picked through it looking for some that looked edible; I was unsuccessful. Hong Kong is by far the best Chinese food that you can get in Princeton or Bluefield. Just wished that they had a buffet where you could go in and eat. Egg rolls are great as another reviewer stated, their chicken sticks are amazing and honestly huge, their cheese/crab/wantons/rangoons are really good also, etc. Everything that I have eaten there is amazing. I called in order. I got there little bit earlier. My order wasn't ready which I didn't expect it to be. But as I set there watching them cook food I got disgusted. The cashier walked up to see who was there and then went back started doing dishes. The cook took container with food in it reached in with his bare hands (no gloves) empty pan went into the cooler came out with pan full, started emptying it again with bare hands. Walked over to bowl had broccilli in it used bare hands again to get out with out any tongs. Never once did he wash his hands during the whole process. I'm glad I hadn't paid for food. I got up and walked out of restaurant. They kept calling me to come pick up order and I refused. That was and is last time ill go in there. read more
