Great work, reasonable prices but it is a small business and only one tailor so don't be in a rush.

Very upset with "customer service". I went there on two separate occasions, with my daughters, for homecoming dress alterations. Both of my girls are built differently (and yes, they do have the same father). One is average sized and the other is very thin. Well, in front of my average sized daughter, he had the audacity to comment and say "They're both sisters? The other one is so much skinnier. And she is not! Haha" Sir, you need to have respect for your customers. Whether or not you're from another country, you have been here long enough to not be culturally ignorant and cut down and call a teenage girl basically "fat" to her face. I have been using you for years, and you just lost my business and I hope you lose the business of many others, as well. I want you to feel the hurt (on your business), that you placed on my daughter today. I have been working for years trying to explain why she and her sister don't have the same bodies. I have been going here for many years. I bring very expensive, ultra luxury suits and he tailors them with precision each time. He runs a one man show and doesn't waste a second - don't mistake that for rudeness - this is efficiency at its finest. It's impressive to see it in action. He is a great business man and this the best spot in metro Atlanta for any alterations work. read more

The customer service is a cultural thing. He is a little Asian man who doesn't talk much and gets a little irritated if you forget your ticket and don't communicate perfectly with him but he is harmless. I've gone to him at least 20 times. I don't trust anyone else altering my clothes but him and my mother. This man is a necessity. read more

Bought a "custom" made dress from JJ's House (ships from China) for a wedding. Too tight across the back and too long and no hope of getting a replacement in time. Took it to Hong Hong Alterations and he was able to let it out enough so that it now fits perfectly!! read more

I didn't have much of an interaction with the owner . I came in to have patches sew on my daughters uniform. It cost me only $14. Dropped it off on a Saturday and it was ready on Monday. He asked for my phone number to find the uniform upon pickup said thank you and I was out the door. read more

I came here because I had an interview in a couple of days and had recently bought a new suit for the occasion. Being the short person that I am, I needed to get the pants hemmed quickly. I stopped by one afternoon and the gentleman working here quickly had me try them on and got them pinned. He initially game me a time estimate of about a week, which would have been 4 days after my interview. No can do, sir. So after I conveyed to him the important of the situation, he agreed to get it turned around in about 2 days. Much better. I really don't have a bunch to say about this place. The service is friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the alterations are done well. And that's really all that matters. read more

Long story short I used this guy 5 years don't use him. The cleaner next door does better alterations at a better price We never said more than two words (language barrier) but I liked his work. I brought him $500 in alterations (6 hammy down suits) but I thought he was worth the quality. I brought back one of the pants where he made a mistake and didn't finish the stitching. I asked him to fix it with out charging me, he refused and said it wasn't his fault, cursed me out and that he would not fix it. Stating that he doesn't make mistakes and to leave. Some people can never admit to making a mistake. This guy is one of those people. I took three shirts in for alterations. Two came back fine but a metal button he relocated for me was sewn on backwards. I took it back to him and he insisted he hadn't done the work/the work hadn't been done in his shop. I left angry knowing his shop had done the work. I began to wonder if I was mistaken given his level of emotion so I examined each button from the back and all were identical (i.e. factory) except the one he relocated. I don't like being lied to. Hong Kong Alterations saved my wedding. I had three weeks until my wedding and I was told by a traditional formal alteration shop that they did not have time to make my dress a corrsett like I wanted and to take it in and to the trim it would be $250. HK alterations said they could do every thing that I wanted in time and for $100 less. They also hooked up two of my friends wedding dresses for cheap, and they do quality work. read more

I had an absolutely miserable experience here. I purchased a dress for my engagement party and brought it in to be altered. The owner pinned the shoulders up while I was wearing the dress-he pinned them exactly where they needed to be. I picked the dress up the day before my party and didn't try it on there(lesson learned). The day of my party I tried it on, and the waist of the dress was at my bust line-cutting my bust in half. It was unwearable. I went out and purchased a new dress for the party 2 hours before it started . When I returned to speak with the owner, he got incredibly defensive and said the dress was altered correctly, even after putting the dress on to show him. He said he would see if he could let the shoulders back out. I returned today to pick up the dress. He let the dress back out to the original length. I asked for a refund because he returned the dress back to the original state, I STILL need to have it altered to wear. My thought process is that I brought a dress in to be altered, it was altered incorrectly, and he brought it back to the original length. So why did I need to pay for that? He got incredibly belligerent and screamed at me for a solid 10 minutes saying he should have charged me twice. I asked him to stop yelling at me and all he said is you are wrong and continued to yell. My fiancé came up because I felt so threatened, and he received the same customer service. The owner yelled at him and told my fiancé he didn't trust Americans-all Americans were out to cheat him. My fiancé told him that no one was trying to cheat him, we just simply wanted a refund because the dress was unwearable. The owner of this alteration store had zero customer service skills. It was hands down the worst experience of my life. Putting aside the fact that I had to rush and purchase a dress at the last minute, the utter disrespect this OWNER showed was disgusting. read more
