When I first arrived I was greeted by what I assume is the owner. She was professional and prompt. Asked what I needed, got me into my suit and measured in a matter of minutes which I appreciated. I needed to have my suit pants and jacket sleeves hemmed. I dropped off on a Monday and needed the following Thursday (so about 10 days). I felt this was an ample amount of time but again, my first experience so I wasn't sure. The lady seemed to give the impression this was a quick turn but told me she could do it. The cost was $70 which I honesty don't know is good or bad. It didn't really matter to me, what was important was getting it done. I showed up Thursday only to learn my suit wasn't complete. This was a huge disappointment. Thankfully I planned ahead and told her Thursday knowing I wouldn't need it until Friday evening. She promised me it would be done Friday morning and when I returned the next day it was done. It looks great. My advice would be to always give yourself a day or two extra and just live with the expectation they will not get it done in time. Don't set yourself up for disaster.

*review is based on reply to AI find-a-business conversation only*…read more TL;DR: weren't able to do a simple alteration (due to a quality that i noted in the AI chat message sent over to them) that another business had no problem with, BUT they were quick to reply and told me no without having me come in im not sure how simple of alterations they do, but it seems to be simpler than the surrounding businesses' usual. i was requesting a simple side take-in of a polyester dress with mesh overlay (notated in the AI message sent out), but they were unable to do it. for background, i am an intermediate-level DIY seamstress, with a grandmother who runs a sewing/alterations store (a state away which is why i reached out to businesses here). this is a pretty simple alteration, so i was surprised when they said they could not do it. i drove to the closest alterations place that was open, and they had no problem with the dress fabric regarding the take in (i showed the dress before i bothered trying it on to make sure) i am attaching the details yelp provided to the business as well as the conversation. the only additional thing i added to the AI was the part of the side seams with zipper in the back, maybe altering cups (after i responded to them saying that, for the other businesses to see that information) im not sure if this is a review more so on the business or AI feature. i will say- they were quick to reply and did tell me no, rather than having me come in and telling me no or potentially messing up the dress.

They told me i lost weight instead. I was then told i wasn't a good christian because i have tattoos on my arm. i told them i would be back on May 9 to pick up my dress after they had asked me to pick it up on the 11th. (i get married the 16 and will be out of town starting the 11th). i told them no i would be picking it up on the 9th as promised. I get there on the 9th at 1:00 and i go to put it on, it's too small. i couldn't get into it. So i told them again i can't get into my dress because it's too small but two days ago they told me I had lost weight and that's why it didn't fit. I let them know once again. I would not be leaving this area until I had my wedding dress in hand and that I would be back before they closed at 3 o'clock. i got my dress at 3:00. moral of a story I would not recommend this business. There is no communication between employees. My dress was forgotten about and the excuse that was brought up was I lost weight instead of just admitting that they forgot. they continued to try and make me pick up my wedding dress three days before I get married and I kept telling them I could not because it is an out-of-town wedding and I was commented on not being a good enough Christian because I had tattoos. 10/10 do not recommend.

She added snaps to the sleeves, so they could be removed for the reception, as well as protective padding in the chest area. She also added a bustle that was unseen during the ceremony, but could be tied up with a ribbon for the reception. She also tailored the groom's suit and my brother's suit.
