It has a slightly fermented taste for those who have never tried it before. The plate also had collards, lentils(shiro) and Ayib(homemade fresh cheese). This is right up there with Shebelle for the best Ethiopian food in DFW. Now I haven't tried all the restaurants but have eaten at enough to know what is next level. The explosion of flavors; the subtle heat from the jalapeños and chilli powder/paprika. The rich taste of the Ethiopian ghee it's cooked in.
