After looking for what made the noise, I saw the one and only spring broke. We now were stuck as the door couldn't go up. Based on the adds we see on television we called Precision Garage Door Service. PGD Service was able to send a technician to our home in short order. The technician was able to give us several ways to take care of the issue. We had the spring replaced with two springs as the door is a two car wide door. The technician replaced the bearings and then added a spring as well as replacing the broken spring. They did a nice job, and the office and technician were very professional. We highly recommend Precision Garage Door Service.

Every time I called to talk to customer service I would be transferred a minimum of three times to get to someone who could answer my question. This was if the system didn't just out right drop my call. They are utilizing sort of AI agent before you even get to a person who will then ask all the same questions and attempt to transfer you from to another branch office and so forth. Additionally, the system for paying and ordering the door was frustrating. It took three call backs before the system sent me the right link to pay. Finally, from the order to installation took over six weeks.

I sent out a message regarding my to-do list and needs to a bunch of handyman companies, and Victor was the first to reply (very promptly!). Between the two of them, they were able to build three bookcases and a desk, replace a light fixture, replace two showerheads, and hang new house numbers in about 5 hours. That would have taken us the whole weekend! The work was done very well, and they cleaned up after themselves. I'll definitely be reaching out to Victor again, I'm sure.

My garage door opener stopped working. I first called the company that installed the unit (Custom Door & Gate). I was told that it only came with a one year warranty, so there was no coverage. They wanted to charge me $169 just to come look at the unit. No thanks. I called another company (Garage Door Specialist). They sent a tech who told me I should replace the whole unit. I wanted to get a second opinion. So I called Triangle Garage Doors. Roy (owner) was wonderful. He reassured me that having a tech come out was the smart thing to do. Dimitri came out. He was beyond helpful. Rather than trying to get me to buy a new unit, he called the manufacturer. Turns out, my unit is still under warranty. Wow! Dimitri dealt with the phone rep, got my parts ordered, and will be coming back to do the installation. As an older, single woman, I have been taken advantage of several times. It's awful. But Roy and Dimitri took great care of me, and they're saving me a lot of money. I recommend this company wholeheartedly. For what it's worth, the two companies that tried to rip me off were Custom Door & Gate (did the original installation) and Garage Door Specialist. Shame on Custom Door & Gate for not standing behind their service at all. They should have contacted the manufacturer for me, instead of another company. If you ever have garage door/opener issues, do yourself a favor...give Roy at Triangle Garage Doors a call. I feel confident you'll be glad you did.
