If you need help with your garage door/opener, I highly recommend you check out Triangle Garage Doors. I just bought my house six months ago. It was built in 2024. My garage door opener stopped working. I first called the company that installed the unit (Custom Door & Gate). I was told that it only came with a one year warranty, so there was no coverage. They wanted to charge me $169 just to come look at the unit. No thanks. I called another company (Garage Door Specialist). They sent a tech who told me I should replace the whole unit. I wanted to get a second opinion. So I called Triangle Garage Doors. Roy (owner) was wonderful. He reassured me that having a tech come out was the smart thing to do. Dimitri came out. He was beyond helpful. Rather than trying to get me to buy a new unit, he called the manufacturer. Turns out, my unit is still under warranty. Wow! Dimitri dealt with the phone rep, got my parts ordered, and will be coming back to do the installation. As an older, single woman, I have been taken advantage of several times. It's awful. But Roy and Dimitri took great care of me, and they're saving me a lot of money. I recommend this company wholeheartedly. For what it's worth, the two companies that tried to rip me off were Custom Door & Gate (did the original installation) and Garage Door Specialist. Shame on Custom Door & Gate for not standing behind their service at all. They should have contacted the manufacturer for me, instead of another company. If you ever have garage door/opener issues, do yourself a favor...give Roy at Triangle Garage Doors a call. I feel confident you'll be glad you did. read more

Dymitir was quite responsive with same day service. He was quite personable and focused on ensuring cost-effective and quality service. In follow-up, he took a call at 8:30pm from me to arrange service with his co-worker, Damien, to address a minor issue the following morning--Damien was top-notch...friendly and efficient. read more

They can next day. quick response, no nonsense and very good workers. great customer service and a great job. highly recommend read more

Dameon was prompt, friendly, and accomodating. He did a good job in anlyzing the issue and fixing our garage door. He gave us short / long term recommendations regarding our older garage door unit that might need replacing at some point in time. No unneccessary upsell or pressure selling. Also pointed out part of the maintaining a sound unit when it comes to replacing the unit is to also get and annual maintenance and fine tunning service as part of the warranty coverage. He's provided very informative expertise relating to how the garage overall unit works. I'll definitely recommend them for sure to other folks. read more

Roy, Genuinely cares about your needs and doesn't try to sell you. Roy just provides you information for you to make the right decision. Josh his assistant is highly knowlegable and did a great job not only going over any questions I had but telling me why the type of rollers were needed and how to best create the right upkeep for best performance. Would HIGHLY recommend them. Their warranty is from my checking the Best in the industry. I generally don't write recommendations but this was well worth the time. Brian R read more

Roy has all you need for your garage repair and upgrades! Support our local businesses that do great work! Roy was professional, informative and kind. Physical representation was clean. He went into detail of what was broken along with recommendations for repair for long term use. I was pleased with the time frame of service and the ability to do weather stripping with no additional time added due to parts being available on truck. This led to a quick service and garage operating back like new. Roy went further by checking the sensitivity of the garage opener and make necessary adjustment to ensure longevity of newly installed parts and garage usage. With the repair and minor adjustments made, the garage operates better than ever and is not as loud; however if I want less noise I will have to go to a belt drive and non-DIY garage opener. Recommended is Lift Master. Thanks again Roy! read more

My garage door is now working. That's good. The techs arrived (late) and we talked about doing a preventive maintenance on the other garage door which was going to cost $85 extra dollars. They were done fixing the other door and doing the PM in less than 30 minutes. I asked them about the PM - they didn't lubricate the spring, because they said it might do more harm than good, they didn't check the motor; both of which I thought were the basis of the PM. They tightened a few bolts for $85 ? In all the work was good, but I think I got taken for some extra work and fees that didn't need to be (weren't?) done. read more

Did a great job, quickly, and for a reasonable price. I was called about 30 minutes prior to arrival, and Area was left tidy and all old components were removed. Main concern is that I was informed by phone that we could repair for (trusting memory) $159 + parts which they would have in the truck or could get, or replace for between $500 and $800 depending on the level of garage door we got. Upon the next day arrival, the service technician, who was very pleasant and professional, said that they did not have the motor, and the motor was very likely old enough that it was better to replace. We got the lowest end replacement, which still very much meets our needs, and were informed it was $600, even after the coupon/discount that was discussed ahead of time. It was explained that the $159 charge for the trip was included regardless, which was NOT what was explained on the phone. We are very satisfied with the new unit, and I don't think the price was completely unreasonable, I just would've appreciated hearing the same story on the phone as I did at the service visit. For $600, we got a new garage door opener with VERY bright LED lights front and back, new chains and rails, new sensors, keypad outside the garage, two remotes, and the in garage push button, as well as an app for operation and both cars reprogrammed. read more

Without warning, the spring on our garage door broke, making it impossible to open the garage door. This left us, two 74-year olds, quite anxious as we were now, literally, trapped without being able to get our cars out in an emergency. It was late in the afternoon, and I really didn't expect to have anyone come out until the next day at the earliest. However, when I called Triangle Garage Door, the owner's wife completely sympathized with our situation. She promised to get someone there ASAP, if at all possible. Within two hours, their truck pulled up, and by an hour later, new springs and rollers had been installed. I am extremely grateful to these kind folks for jumping on the call. The work was expertly done, the results perfect, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone! Chris C. Durham read more

Excellent service, great work, quick response times. The owner came over same day to fix our garage door the wasn't closing. And we've had no issues with the garage door opener they installed about two years ago. read more

Called them mid morning and Roy was able to get me scheduled on the same day. Called when he was on his way as well. Roy was very professional and didn't take long to finish the spring replacement. He also made some good suggestions instead of just taking my money. Will definitely call Roy at Triangle Garage Doors again!! read more

Went to the Durham office. Superb service, on time. Sam was wonderful, helpful and honest. He explained everything to my mom (she's 80 yrs old). She can't stop talking about the service and how nice they were. Very impressive given our current climate. If you need help with a garage go to them. You won't be sorry you did. read more

Triangle Garage Doors are excellent. Their service response is really fast, they are efficient and quite reasonable. I have used them on three or four occasions on several different properties, including my own, and I highly recommend them. Give Roy a call! read more

These guys showed up on time but after checking with 2 other garage door companies, they charged a price more than double the price of what others quoted. Lessons learned: The technician stated it was necessary to remove the spring before measuring which was required to quote the price. - WRONG, spring can be measured while in place and after tension is removed, they did this to keep the deal and make it inconvenient to say no The technician told me the replacement spring had to be made custom, but he just happened to have a set of springs that size for a custom job he would be installing tomorrow. RRRIIIIGGGGHHHHHTTTT! I finally negotiated them down to about $200 higher than the competing companies. My excessive cost can be of value to others. Call Hanson or Overhead Door company and get additional quotes before committing to these guys. read more

Very professional, efficient, honest. We set an appointment to have them look at a garage door that would not go up all the way. Damian came at the appointed time, called to let us know he was on the way, diagnosed the problem quickly, outlined several options, and solved our issue same day. Very impressed and would definitely recommend. read more

Roy was outstanding! I booked the appointment online which makes the service call and estimate free. Our garage door would not close properly as the cable kept coming off the spool on one side. He adjusted the spring which fixed that problem and replaced the rollers on the track in less than an hour. He even talked me out of replacing our older automatic opener as he didn't think it was necessary. I would absolutely recommend anyone reach out to Triangle Garage Doors for repairs or services! read more

First time using this company and they will be my go to in the future. Called them at 8:18am to repair my garage door. Tech Sam Hadi called at 9:11 saying he could be here in 10-15 minutes. He and Bennie arrived at 9:20 surveyed the situation, went back to their shop for required parts and were finished with the repair and corrective maintenance by 10:25. The bill was very reasonable and the service was fantastic. I will definitely recommend them to my friends in the Triangle area. read more

Exceptional knowledge and service. Roy, the owner was responsive and delivered on the exactly what he promised. I will certainly use his company and recommend them to friends and family alike. read more

Another perfect experience with this company. We were unable to open garage door, even manually. They were here same day, explained the problem, gave me the prices, did a few minor things for free, and were finished within the hour. And yet again, no upselling for things not needed. So professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Bravo! read more

I had the company come up out to fix my gargage door for a boken wire. They seemed to be pretty nice, and quick to respond. Immediately when the service person arrived, I was told I needed to buy new rollers. Triangle Garage Doors had replaced these rollers 5 years earlier. The wire was a problem and they had to come back to repair-within 2 weeks- we did get a verbal appology. Two weeks later, we still had problems and they said we needed new sensors. I understand things go out, but it seemed that for everything to go out within such a close period, I would reccomend keeping a sharp eye out on this group. read more

Our garage door spring broke and we were able to get an appointment with Triangle Garage Doors the next day. They called before arrival and were right on time. Damien arrived wearing a mask and was very professional. Our garage door system was pretty old and after an assessment and reviewing the cost, he got right to work and was able to replace the spring and rollers within the appointment time. I highly recommend this company and will use them again when needed! Thank you! read more

Saw the great reviews and needed some work on the garage door so I set up an appointment. I was not home so the technician called and explained that the wheels on the garage door needed to be replaced and tune up should help get it moving again. I thought there might be something with the motor, but thought hey, this is a cheaper option. He does the tune up and changes the wheels and calls me to say that they were leaving and he would send the bill. He called back a few mins later to say that he was testing the system and the motor was messed up. So now my bill goes from $160 to $660. I was a little concerned that he didn't see that from the beginning, but oh well. They replace the system and it seemed to be good. When I got home I tried to call the technician to get some help programming my remotes, etc. I texted and called, but never heard from anyone. I then called the office and talked to a nice lady who said she was sorry and would have someone call. No calls. Not sure I would used them again. read more

I was amazed by how quickly they were able to get to us, how quickly they were able to diagnose the problem, and how quickly and efficiently they were able to address the problem. They arrived at our house in the morning, were able to get the parts and fix the door by lunch time. Amazing! Extremely professional and pleasant to work with. I highly recommend Triangle Garage Doors! read more

Very fast, reliable and efficient! Our technician was very courteous, knowledgeable and even arrived a little earlier than the window time which was awesome on a Saturday morning! He was even able to get some extra work done that we wanted but weren't schedule for! Amazing!! Definitely recommend :) read more

Super timely, great to work with. Used them for a real estate transaction and was pleased on how they were to my client and keeping me in the loop. They were super fast as well with scheduling. read more

Very fast (they inspected the door the same day that I called). Very communicative (they updated me with status before, during and after the inspection and the subsequent replacement). Good value (I googled the unit they sold me and once you factored in labor, it was about what I would pay for it myself). read more

I called for repair/replacement after a mishap that badly bent the tracks. Roy arrived at the time that was estimated and quickly assessed that it was just a repair job. Within about an hour he had the door operating again, newly lubricated and with adjusted spring tension. I will call Triangle Garage Doors for any future needs and would recommend without reservation. read more

This is the 3rd company were had give us an estimate to fix our garage door. Ben from Ben's garage door was extremely rude so we're weren't going to use him regardless. Garage door specialist was nice and gave us a decent quote but we would have had to schedule them to come back to come fix the door. Triangle called and said they would be late but made the appt time anyway. Beat all other quote prices. Was very nice. AND fixed our door immediately. Couldn't be happier. Thank you. read more

Extremely pleased with the quality of service that TGD provided. Highly recommend them. Thanks, Roy. It was a pleasure meeting you.

I was initially excited about their service and turnaround time for a job they completed on 12/8/2016. They originally came out to put the guide wire back in the pulley left side of the door. On 1/4/2017, I had to have them back out because the door had not been closing all the way on the left side since the original repair. I was charged with another service call and labor for the job. So my $65 initial job ended up costing me a total of $187. Talk about paying twice for one repair. I'll be sticking with one of the other more reputable door companies next time. read more

One of the springs on my garage door broke. I called late Saturday afternoon. Roy (the owner) gave me a fair and accurate estimate over the phone. He came out first thing the following morning (on a Sunday) and replaced the springs in just under an hour. Very satisfied with the experience. read more

Two guys from Triangle Garage Door came out to fix one of my two garage doors which had problems sticking and to look at reprogramming the key pad. One of the guys tried very hard to sell me new parts (rollers) that I did not need. While he fixed the door that was getting stuck, he told me he could not reprogram the key pad. I then found that the key pad was inoperable for the other door (which had worked fine before they arrived and which I had never had problems with). After the crew from Triangle Garage Doors left, I found that the wires from the key pad to the sensor for that other door were disconnected. I cannot say for sure how that happened since I did not stay with the two young men the whole time they were there, but I would never use this company again. read more

I have been so pleased with Roy and his team. We had a spring break on our garage right before Christmas (and the storm). Roy knew immediately what I needed and was available to come out that very day. I asked about pricing and the final fees were less than he estimated. Unfortunately I ended up having to reschedule a couple of times (once not long before they were to arrive) but Roy was exceptionally easy to deal with and never made me feel like I was causing a problem. They called the day of the appointment to confirm and then again 30 to 45 minutes prior to arrival. The garage was fixed promptly and I had no issues with him finding "other things" that also needed to be replaced. So easy! Thanks Roy and team! read more

I can't say enough about the great customer service provided by Roy and his company. We got screwed by Lowe's and called yesterday afternoon to see if TGD could help. They got us scheduled for the next morning. At 8am, the technician, Anythony, called saying he would be to our house soon. Then, Roy, the owner, called me from OUT OF THE COUNTRY to talk to me about our door and our cost. He then called our technician to discuss what we would be charged. Roy was able to give us a very, very reasonable price. The care that Roy shows for his customers is the best I've seen. And Anthony was right on time and straight forward about what needed to be done, and then he got it done within 2 hours. read more

I have called in for replacing the rollers for my garage doors. He said he could not replace 2 of the rollers because the bolt is rusted. They also told me they can't take my check because the address on it is different than the house. Even if I was to call in for investment property, they wouldn't take the check because I have different address on the check. So, be prepared if you are planning to pay with check. Also, the person working on the garage door put a sticker on my house with his company name without asking me. Very disappointed. I would not work with them again. read more
