Outside of the bar area, it's not as glamorous as these pictures appear, but again, I would still come here, it's just worth mentioning. The owner of the one on 528 near Southern in RR was quite rude, and tried to blame me for not reading some warning on the wall that the included mini USP cable was required for a pen style/on board battery, when the fit had become impossibly sloppy, making charging near impossible. (as if that would have made a difference with a lousy jack receptacle. If you're looking for glass, the Menaul store has a huge selection. Can't comment on those prices. Long story short, stores vary in terms of customer service. The juices are OK, prices are so-so, the rewards have an expiration date one needs to me mindful of. Technical expertise is also highly variable, and looks to be less available than previously. Those of us who have been vaping for quite some time likely have standards that may no longer apply in todays highly commercial, legally restricted era. Those truly were the days. So take this review with a pinch of salt--we were spoiled, and the experience now is seldom the same. But I also believe Oasis has also been spoiled by it's success, and doesn't have the same attitude as a few years back.

Although they do sell coffee, soda,water and sports drinks. By the way, you arent permitted to bring your own spirits in either. A bit disappointed with that because I just won't drink soda with a fine cigar...its just wrong in every way. So I decided on a medium roast coffee, because they were out of a dark roast, which was made from a Pod and not freshly brewed. The lounge does have a humidor with a variety of cigars. And not that they had a poor or a small selection, but lets just say that I was happy I brought my own. The gentleman who greeted us ( Raul) gave us the run down of the lounge, was polite, informative and professional. Although I wish we had known or was informed of this, but we unknowingly entered an open doored area that was apparently only for its "members" and was asked to exit the area. No big deal. Although my daughter is of the legal age of 21, unfortunately like many businesses in Albuquerque, they wouldn't accept my daughter's vertical drivers license. And I understand NM has their own laws on vertical vs horizontal DL's, but to not accept a US Passport was a bit too much. And trust me, I do understand I was in New Mexico. As a law enforcement officer in a state where the laws are much stricker when it comes to the sale of tobacco and alcohol products or services to a minor, trust me I understand completely.... but to say they don't honor her United States passport? Unlike "smoke shops" Best Smokes has a real selection of cigarettes instead of bongs, vape juice, and mary jane. I suppose they might also carry that stuff, but they absolutely had cigarettes, cigarettes, and more cigarettes.

They had a bottle, but not the less expensive one they would want. So my sales guy gave me other recommendations that worked just fine. The young lady at the register was nice, but not as fast as the other employees. Parking was a bit tight but I think this was due to the hustle and bustle of the then approaching Thanksgiving holiday.

He picked out an item and, following the sales clerk's advice, decided to test it in their car to make sure it worked. Turned out it didn't, so he went back to the store to ask for a refund. The clerk insisted they check it again to prove it wasn't working. My friend shared his concerns about the quality of the item, especially since he was told to test it, and mentioned he'd rather buy something from somewhere else. After some back and forth, clerk said he could dispute the charge with his credit card company. Eventually, the clerk gave them a cash refund but also accused him of possibly disputing the charge anyway. As he was leaving the shop, clerk told him never return to the store. Boy, did he really need a smoke after that experience. IMO Storefront looks unapproachable to me. Sorry my friend had such a crappy first experience.
