I never seem to be off on weekends to make it to the farmers market but I came across the Honey House during a quick search and I'm glad I did. When following the directions you'll come to a corner house with a cross out front. The honey is located in the back of the house through the glass door patio. You'll see signage to make sure you go in the right door. There are two honey offerings (plastic bottle or glass bottle) as well as a variety of skin care products. Cash or zelle is accepted for payment. I found the phone # on the business card and had no issue sending a zelle. I came home right away and tried the honey and it's delicious.

A Truly Inspired Flavor Fusion…read more Hums and Cackles has created something extraordinary with their bourbon-lavender-lemon-habanero honey. At first glance, the flavor combination seems bold--even a little wild--but one spoonful proves just how beautifully it all works together. The bourbon brings a warm, oaky depth that rounds out the sweetness without overpowering it. The lavender is subtle and aromatic, adding a soft floral lift that pairs surprisingly well with the honey's natural richness. The lemon brightens everything, giving the blend a clean, citrusy snap. And then there's the habanero--just the right amount of heat, building slowly into a pleasant, tingly warmth rather than a harsh burn. What really stands out is the balance. Every note is distinct yet harmonious, making this honey incredibly versatile. It's amazing drizzled over fried chicken, charcuterie, fresh biscuits, goat cheese, or even added to tea or cocktails when you want something with personality. This is local craftsmanship at its finest--creative, thoughtful, and delicious. If you like artisanal products with a twist, this honey is absolutely worth trying.
