I have been to the Lewisville Clemmons Road spot several years ago, and loved the ice cream there. I have not had a banana spilt from Sam's so I decided I would try that. I wanted to compare it with the one I recently had at TJ's Deli. This was a very nice split - 3 scoops of ice cream and all the usual toppings. Everything tasted fresh, there were multiple layers of flavor, the texture added to the total enjoyment - it all came together beautifully! I thought this split was comparable to TJ's, though TJ's was a bit cheaper. I would definitely recommend this split, though it is a bit wasted on me due to the size, and obviously it is not a savable item, needs to be shared!
