I have had Honey Pig a bunch of times over the years and there was been a noticeable difference in service and not in a good way. We didn't order from the AYCE menu and ordered a la carte meat dishes. The food was definitely the highlight. The honeycomb cut pork belly was fresh and flavorful when combined with the kimchee and bean sprout. If you're going just for the food, it does deliver. That said, the service was pretty average. Nothing terrible, but not very attentive either. When you order à la carte they are supposed to cook and cut the meat for you but we ended up doing most of it. Overall, it's a decent spot if you're craving Korean BBQ, but the service could definitely be improved to match the quality of the food. read more

Went super late night. 3am They close at 5am, which is nice to have a kbbq place open this late. Service was nice, efficient, fast at first. Food was good quality, quick, & tasted soooo good. Only 2 bad things: 1. If we ordered $55 in pork belly, & other meats how does it NOT come with banchan? I know the AYCE you get everything but when we opted to eat A la carte as it's very late & don't want to overstuff ourselves we were just shocked it didn't COME with banchan. Never seen that before. So yes, we got charged for each side dish lol 2. If you're a business that says you're open til 5- why turn off the lights & hint for us to leave at 4am? We're in the industry & wouldn't want to make you stay any later- we tip well & are very nice I don't see why someone would do that. Also we got a la carte! First time eating here and already wouldn't recommend coming here, bad service and they barely checked on us throughout the whole time we were here. We would ask for another serving of sides and they would ignore it and never bring it until we ask again. We also were gonna ask for another side and once we got the workers attention he told us to wait before we could even finish our sentence and he ended up never serving us what we needed until we asked another workers. Food was decent but service was neglectful. We also feel as if we were being neglected to our race because when Koreans came into the restaurant the workers immediately served them and even cooked for them while we barely got served so therefore it felt discriminating towards us. This place was amazing in so many ways. All the staff were so amazing, friendly, and attentive. It wasn't super busy and I am so surprised because the food was amazing. I believe this place does both ayce and a regular menu, but we did ayce. We chose the cheaper section a because it already had everything we wanted. All the food tasted great and portion was great. I came here today for a family Christmas meal and noticed that one of the sauce plates provided was clearly used. I politely pointed it out and asked for a clean replacement. Instead of a simple apology or acknowledgment, a very tall middle aged asian woman with short hair responded by raising her voice and speaking to me in an angry, condescending manner, saying: "I am serving! Can't you wait?! Can't you be patient?!" Her tone felt more like she was scolding a child than addressing a paying customer. In over 50 years of dining out, I have never been spoken to with such hostility for making a reasonable request, especially one involving cleanliness. I work in the service industry myself and am very understanding when restaurants are busy, particularly on holidays. However, being busy does not excuse disrespect. What made this experience especially painful was that this happened in front of my children. I held back tears, but the moment completely ruined what was meant to be a joyful Christmas meal with my family. This is the first negative Yelp review I've ever felt compelled to write. I truly hope management takes this seriously, because no customer should be treated this way for asking for a clean plate. Regarding the food itself, the meat was poor quality and thoroughly disappointing. Even if the service issue had not occurred, the food alone would not justify a return visit. If you ever decide to eat here, RUN! I just came here for lunch, and this place has the worst service ever! The infamous "yea yea yea ahjumma" working there does not even want to sit you at the table nor serve you! Other yelpers has mentioned her! She says yes to everything and then ignores you! We came here at 11:30 AM, and there was only two tables inside. We had to wave her down and order our food. She never came back to us, and I had to end up getting my own water, napkins, and even walk up to the counter, and order my own food. She never even checked up on us for any refills on meat! It's probably because there's too many AYCE Kbbq in the a 5mile radius. We haven't been here so wanted to try it. Lunch cheaper menu is $25.99. I can longer recommend this restaurant because Chase the server and the manager told me that the owner changed the policy to only 2 people can sit to eat if you are doing all you eat. They do not allow 1 person to sit to do All you eat. The restaurant is not even busy, I think the owner needs to change it back to what it was.
