We went to Rose Nails on New Year's Day, and it was a very disappointing experience…read more I asked for regular polish since I was scheduled to deliver my baby on the 4th and wanted to be able to remove it easily. I was immediately given attitude for not choosing gel. I originally requested a French tip, but the nail tech only applied the white tip and topcoat, skipping the usual light pink base. The result looked terrible, and you could clearly see my previous gel growth. Due to a language barrier, I waved over the owner to clarify whether the nails were finished. The nail tech became visibly angry that I called him over. To avoid further issues, we switched to a solid color (Funny Bunny), but the polish was extremely streaky, uneven, and textured--honestly looked like a golf ball. The fan he used also spread the polish and made it worse. I'm especially disappointed because I've been coming here for years. I had already stopped going recently due to uncomfortable comments made about my body early in my pregnancy, and this visit confirmed why. Poor service, poor quality work, and an overall unpleasant experience. Would not recommend.

Was told by manager that the nail tech who serviced me no longer worked there and she would not honor my repair. The manager was very rude. The quality was not in the price. It made them thin and they tore constantly after that. They are now just growing again and getting healthier. I'll remember to bring it to their attention next time. Go and enjoy being pampered!!

Nothing special. I was visiting my grandmother in Longview…read moreand wanted to treat her to a pedicure. Their cheapest pedicure is $40 and doesn't come with anything but some lotion and a massage. You have to pay $2 for the liner for the bowl which is ridiculous because that should be apart of sanitation laws. And it's $3 for the nail file and buffer. So I guess they weren't going to file our nails had we not paid for it. Let me not forget to mention I also had to file my own toenails myself because they said my toenails were too soft to make them even. For $40 they also only lay one towel across your leg which normal places wrap one around each leg. Ive never had these many issues in Houston. I also requested Vanessa to do my pedi when I made the appointment because of the good reviews about her but when I got there she couldn't do it because another lady was a regular client. Outside of the pedicure, he also kept asking my grandmother if she got pedicures regularly and after she told him yes he kept making comments. It really bothered me and I had to refrain from telling him to be quiet! The older lady was sweet but I will not be returning.

I'm giving this place 3 stars. I'll comment on what was good what was not. I will try them once…read moremore to see if what I disliked was because they were busy or if the staff really is as bad as they seem. My boyfriend & I went on a Sunday. He called beforehand and they guy (Joseph) said they could take us if we came now. That was fine. We walked in & its gorgeous inside. This is where the positive part of the review stops. Sadly. He showed us to the VIP room. I dont think it was - I think it's just the pedicure room. Still was nice though. We asked for a drink menu. This place offers 1 free alcoholic (or non alcoholic) drink. The entire menu was not spell checked. I'll post a photo. It doesnt actually have a list of what they have. It took them 15 minutes to get us the menu (after I asked a 2nd time for it). A guy tech finally came in and gave me and my boyfriend their Services List. We already knew we wanted basic pedicures. He literally scoffed. Um. Excuse me... if you offer it don't be rude when people request it. He took my drink order. I couldnt tell what they had so I just said red wine. My boyfriend asked for a specific martini. He came back with mine. He said my boyfriend would have to wait for the bartender. My boyfriend's tech still hadn't come in. My tech ran the water too hot for me then when I said something, made it too cold. And just left. I was going to let him know but oh well. My boyfriend's tech comes in. Neither tech was friendly or said hello. Just wanted to know which service. She went to ask about my boyfriend's drink after I asked her to. She came back and said they couldnt do that. He asked for something else. She went back and told Joseph. Joseph is the front person and the 'bartender.' That guy stayed busy. I felt bad for him. Halfway through my boyfriend's pedicure-no drink. I look mad at this point. She could tell so she went and checked again. Finally got it 5 minutes later. Was very good. The pedicure was not great. He hurt me. I would literally go "ouch!" and he just grabbed my foot again. The paint job was sloppy and not professional. They gave us the tickets and walked away without any word. When we were in line to check out, there was a woman in front of us who had come in to complain about her nail job. Doesnt bode well. They didnt really do much for her either. I have mixed reviews on even trying it again, but the nail places in Longview are terrible. At least this one serves drinks... The one positive about this place other than it's really nice inside is that they serve drinks. Joseph is very friendly as well.
