I, too, have a child with Autism, so I had empathy as long as I'm could. His daughter made sounds (ticks?) that got louder and louder. He didn't go to her or even look at her once. She, at one point, shook her hair repeatedly. Still nothing. By this point, dad was in another part of the store and on the phone. My meal was ruined... I went up to the man and asked him to please pay attention to his daughter. The owner glared at me, and the father yelled at me. I will never go back there. Ever.

I managed to grab a lemon raspberry scone for the drive home, and I think it's my favorite scone now. Perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and exactly what you want from a great scone. Between the quality, the setting, and the variety, this is the kind of place that works just as well for a holiday centerpiece as it does for a spontaneous stop. Fatine humbly informed me "Bibi would be happy to know this bakery has her name". My wife and I stopped here on a weekend and enjoyed a few treats and iced coffees. Fatine told me the coffee is roasted by a close friend of hers, who comes from Florida to roast. She feels that like most everything at Bibi, this Florida connection is serendipitous. She believes that life, like baking itself, tends to just happen the way it's meant to, if you follow your passions. A motorcycle can use the drive through and every other drive thru in Norwood and surrounding towns allows my electric mobility scooter to use the drive through including my banks ( both of them) McDonald's , Starbucks , Burger King . They refused me service at the window on my second visit after already being served once at the drive thru in my scooter. Rather than serving me and then saying "in the future we would prefer you to come inside" the refused to serve me. Access to inside is nearly impossible when you are using a mobility device. The doors are not automatic and the open outward very awkwardly and without someone from inside holding the doors for me, I can't get inside on my own and it is embarrassing for me. I would have given less stars but all the kids who work at honey dew and the gas station are friendly and helpful and they do have good gas prices. I boycotted Mr. Franks and honey dew for over a year after I was so embarrassed and treated so poorly but the owners witch of a wife .
