I called ahead to ask for information on all that entails their special on an "Honest Essential" facial. They have a special going for first timers right now for $95 that is a steal! I'm not sure how long it lasts- online it says $120 for first time clients (a $15 discount than the honest essential facial) so make sure you book asap to get this price. I was greeted by the cutest lady at the front desk, (wish I remembered her name-she was also the person I spoke to on the phone) and she just broke down everything for me from the expectations, the machine, the masks, massages, etc. I have been burned in the past getting a facial so I was skeptical but I truly felt so comfortable after speaking with her. My appointment with Alicia who was wonderful! this was my first time going and she was very informative and kind. I told her my issues with hydration, dry skin, and bumpy patches. she suggested the oxygen trifecta that came with a jelly mask. I'm not sure the oxygen did much to my skin so I'm not sure the extra $40 was worth it but the jelly mask definitely felt so good and I enjoyed that. I know you can't expect amazing results after going just one time so I think in a month or so, I will book another facial. Stay tuned. read more

It's been more than a year, possibly two, that I've received a high-quality facial and service. Brittany did a thorough job at asking questions about my skincare routine and what my concerns were then proceeded to recommend what add-on she suggests. She was amazing at walking me through the steps she was taking and explaining what she was putting on my skin, which I think is important so we can ask questions if needed. I don't usually post reviews, almost never, but they were so sweet and did an amazing job! read more

Had the best experience with Saryna! I got the Honest Essential Facial and it was amazing! She kept me relaxed, pores unclogged, skin hydrated!! I love getting extractions and I loved that she took her TIMEE, needed that!! Saryna even gave me a sample of the cleanser she used on my face for me to try at home, LOVEE! The place is super cute also their playlist, fire!! Facility is clean and all the employees are super sweet! Definitely coming back! read more

I joined the monthly membership and it's really worth it! The no-peel chemical peel that Bryce recommended for me left my skin feeling so soft even now after 2 days. Let me tell you about my girl, Brittany.. She is AMAZINGGG!! Brittany was very patient with hearing out my skin concerns and questions I had about my skin and what she'd recommend for me. I already felt very welcome when I first walked in with how sweet everyone was (including the lil sign with my name on it), so all the more her smiles and laughter really made my day! I wanted to try Honest Skin in Rancho Bernardo a few times before leaving a review. I have had facials with Brittany and Saryna. Facility is conveniently located off 15 freeway, and parking is available in large lot shared by various businesses and restaurants. Honest Skin is on 2nd floor, accessible by elevator or stairs. It is very clean, and the staff is friendly. I try to come for a facial each month and am pleased with the results. Both Saryna and Brittany are skilled and professional, ready to answer questions and make suggestions. The prices are reasonable compared to spas in hotels. I highly recommend Honest Skin and look forward to returning each month. read more

I had a fabulous first time experience at Honest Skin for a facial with Chrissy! The experience was definitely top tier. She gave me so much insight into what was going on with my skin. We did derma-planing, an enzyme treatment, and the facial included pore cleansing with a vacuum type extraction tool. It was great! It also included a scalp, neck and shoulder massage. I was greeted by two smiling aestheticians. The lobby was beautiful, clean, peaceful . I was escorted into a room where there was a beautiful sign that had my aesthetician's name as well as a welcome with my name printed on it. The quality of the facial was incredible. I booked a same day facial with Saryna because I was in desperate need of some self care. It was my very first time coming to honest skin and as any new thing I was a little nervous. However, when entering I was immediately greeted with kindness and offered a beverage and the restroom if needed. The woman in the front desk whose name I didn't catch was so attentive it immediately calmed my initial nerves and the overall vibe of the location was so inviting. I then had my facial with Saryna and she was incredible. She was not only funny and kind but extremely knowledgeable and walked me through each step of the facial and explained all the benefits. I explained my skin concerns and what I wanted from the service and she was quick to let me know that the original add on service I had chosen was probably not going to the best for my skin at that time and recommended the oxygen trifecta instead. I appreciated the input and the oxygen trifecta service was by far the best add on I've ever had! may i say this is fare the Best facial place ! it took me around a year when moving to san diego to find a deep cleansing facials that are at a price that you can actually upkeep and afford something that benefits yourself ! they had me at there half off or it was a free facial can't remember but tried it loved it , amazing! eveyone is so nice ! i always feel amzing leaving , i haven't been to the new location yet , would love to know if the workers are as amzing at the other location read more

I was rescheduled with someone else for an hour earlier. I added the facial massage elevation and was very excited for it and when I got there I was told my new massage therapist didn't have experience with that technique and instead she could rub aromatherapy oils on me. That didn't seem like a worthwhile elevation so I asked if she could do a hot stone or any of the other elevations and was told no she doesn't have that experience. Interesting because at the end of my massage my massage therapist recommended I try hot stone for my tight muscles and that she specializes in it. I could immediately tell my therapist was new as she seemed uncomfortable and awkward. She struggled a lot with the sheets and kept pulling at them which took from my relaxation. At one point she revealed too much skin from pulling too hard. Whenever she would finish an area she'd ask if that was enough and if she should move on which again took from the relaxation. I paid for a 60 minute massage and when I got undressed it was 2:01, but when she finished and I went to get dressed it was 2:55 so I didn't even get my full time. The place is clean and relaxing, but I'm sad that I couldn't get the full massage experience I had paid for and was looking forward to.

When I requested escalation, I was met with resistance and disrespect by "Mindy Holmes," who claimed to be a national manager and insisted there is "no one above her." She kept saying she is the person and thats it! Who ever made her in charge should rethink their decision. When I first reached out again, it was to buy more packages, but after this treatment never ever!!!! The combination of changing terms after purchase, lack of written disclosures, and refusal to escalate is deeply concerning and reflects poorly on the company's integrity. I expect this matter to be corrected promptly AND DEMAND CONTACT FROM AN OWNER OR SOMEONE WHO CARES ABOUT CLIENTS.
