I really like sausages. They're yummy and English and comforting with mash if you've had a bad day. It's hard to go wrong with them. (Unless it's at three in the morning and you're waiting for a night bus, but you've only got yourself to blame.)
So after a lovely trip to the park and the Observatory, I decided that The Honest Sausage in Greenwich would be a good place for a snack. Clearly I'd timed it just wrong as they had no sausages. And well, a hot dog is a hot dog. It was lovely. And perfectly cooked and had onions and stuff. As you'd expect. It was also four quid. I'm not sure a hot dog should ever be four quid from a stand in a park. How gourmet can sausages be? The lemonade was two quid. After the extra wiat, I was very happy to get some food, but I won't go back and pay those prices again. read more
