Orlando really needed an Indian Fast Food restaurant. Honest is originally based out of Ahmedabad, India and now they have opened up many locations in the US. Glad they came to Orlando! It's located in a prime area in Patel Brothers plaza near Florida Mall. Ambience is simple with some food photographs on the walls, nothing fancy. Place looked clean. Everyone was wearing masks. Customer service was good and the food service was super fast. We went on a weekday evening...that could be the reason. Currently they have limited items on the menu. And they plan to start Indo Chinese and South Indian dishes pretty soon. We ordered Paav Bhaji, Masala Paav, Veg Grilled Sandwich, Bhakri Pizza and Papdi Chaat. Except the papdi chaat, I liked all other dishes. The Veg Grilled Sandwich with Amul Cheese reminded me of Club Sandwich I used to eat back in India. And the masala paav was the highlight for me. Will definitely go back when they start serving the whole menu and see if they can get that one star .

I tried this chain restro first time very good for pure vegetarians they have all indian snacks item and delicious beverages and desserts too. I literally ordered many items from all courses all of them were too good. Somewhere i feeli pav bhaji was bitter in taste and it was too much masala need to reduce it. Taste of the sambhar could be better, i loved the falooda and masala chaas never had it like this If i'd have stayed here or resident i'd probably come here every week !!

This place stayed packed from the time we got there till leaving. Vegan and flavorful. If you come here that's what you will get. My fave was the crusted cauliflower. I can't recall the Indian name but it was good. The man helped explain different names of the foods which was appreciated. I took a menu so I could research for my next visit. The drink was something special. I wish I had been warned about the vermicelli noodles that I sucked up. In my first sip. But I guess you figure if you order this drink you already know

This restaurant easily falls in the category of Indian fast food. The restaurant is spacious and nicely spread out. Located in the Plaza close to Florida Mall, there are several other Indian inspired business...Patel Brothers Market, and several clothing and jewelry stores. They have a wonderful variety of dishes to choose from, and fresh squeezed drinks like sugar cane and watermelon juices. I had the masala dosa, nice portion and tasty potatoes, the coconut chutney was wonderful as a dip. Others at our table had the pani puri and chana masala, everything we ordered was very well seasoned and tasty. Service was fast and polite. Looking forward to the next visit.

Let's just say I got my Xmas gift early this year!! Good service and just super excited to try everything that's in the menu. My fav was Vada Pav & Pavbhaji which is their signature dish!!!! All the Indochinese food was pretty good too. From Top Left to right Vada pav, samosa (filling was good but crust didn't meet the quality. Was disappointed as even chutney which came free was good.), Pav(buns) for Bhaji. Got cheese pavbhaji and regular. Both were great. Hakka noodles, chilli paneer, Gobi Manchurian and schezwan rice. Giving them 4 starts because the samosa didn't meet the expectations

Lovely staff and great food, especially for vegetarians! The samosas are perfect and so is the chutney. Would also recommend their pineapple juice, it's very fresh and refreshing :)

I was very excited to go to this place to have some interesting chat items. Sad that I didn't like single item among all the ones we ordered. Samosa chat was the most appealing one. Even pav bhaji was just okay. The one with bell pepper topping and cheese coated, you might wonder what it could be, it is honest special pizza which was absolute trash. Probably they don't know what a pizza base looks like. They just had all the heavily cheese coated stuff on a biscuit like snack item. Bahubali sandwich was worth the money but it wasn't that interesting. I tried to order a mango falooda but upon noticing that they were just pulling out a glass of generic falooda milk glass and mixing mango syrup in it, I just had to cancel it. Then I switched to Mango ice cream which was pathetic. It's worst to the core. Samosa chat was fine.

This seems to be a fairly new restaurant. With that being said, this is a great place to go for Vegetarian Indian food. My family and I were looking for a new place to try and were happy we went here. I'm not a spicy food fan but I'll give anything a try, once. So if you don't like too much spice, they will tone it down for you. The dishes were had were very flavorful. Try the Mango Lassi. It's a nice cooling drink after the spice. I had sugarcane juice which was nice and refreshing. The store in general is very clean. Its run by family and they are very polite and knowledgeable about the items on the menu. My family decided we'll go back again to try something different next time. Believe me, it's worth the trip!

    Dabangg dosa. Amazing .

The consistently high ratings led me here for lunch and I was not disappointed. The interiors are tastefully modern and welcoming, with plenty of seating and pleasant decor. I started off with the mango lassi (4/5) which was delightfully refreshing without being too sweet. For meals, we went with the paneer makhani (4.5/5), chole bhature (5/5), vegetable malabari (5.5), and butter naan (4.5/5). All the meals were delicious and prepared using high quality ingredients, with no weak spots. I'd rank Bombay Street Kitchen among the top 2 Indian restaurants I've been to in the state (most Indian restaurants I've been to in Florida have been pretty underwhelming and average). Happy to round up my overall rating as service (5/5) was quick and friendly. I look forward to returning to Bombay Street Kitchen and would recommend them to others looking for delicious Indian food in Orlando.

The cheese naan is unlike any paneer naan we have tried before--almost like a cheesy quesadilla. They didn't have Aloo Choley listed, but when we asked, the kitchen put together a version with chickpeas and potatoes that turned out delicious. We ordered the Dal Maharani, and while our waitress asked about spice level, it felt like she made the decision for us. We enjoy spice, but even the first bite was hotter than we expected, and we barely ate any of it despite it being otherwise flavorful. Toward the end, our waitress asked us to leave a review... and then stood there waiting. When my husband said we were still chatting, she kept circling back to check, which felt pretty pushy. Later, when we requested to-go boxes, she said "there is no rush" and then disappeared. We had to ask again. Overall, the food is good and the staff is mostly friendly, but the unexpectedly fiery dal and the slightly overzealous service kept this from being a 5-star experience.

And I was questioned by staff twice if the spice level was okay, which I felt came with a judgmental tone since I requested medium, not the owner-recommended mild. Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite live up to expectations. My wife chose the buffet, assuming everything would be freshly prepared at opening time. To our surprise, every single item on the buffet line was cold -- from the rice and chicken dishes to the biryani and palak paneer. If a restaurant opens at 11:30, the food should be hot and ready to serve. Cold curries and rice immediately take away from both texture and flavor, and in this case, the dishes tasted flat and lacked the depth of spices you expect from Indian cuisine. Based on this visit, I would recommend skipping the buffet and ordering from the regular menu instead. Buffet selections often feel like the more economical options, and here they were devoid of the bold flavors that make Indian food so memorable. I ordered the chicken biryani from the à la carte menu. It was noticeably better -- aromatic and more flavorful than the buffet items. However, it still missed an important element. Traditionally, biryani is prepared by marinating the chicken and cooking it together with the rice so the spices infuse the meat and every bite is cohesive. In this case, while the rice carried some fragrance, the chicken itself was not well marinated and tasted bland on its own. It felt more assembled than thoughtfully cooked together. Another important point is pricing. The dishes are on the expensive side, and at those prices, the flavors and overall quality should be excellent. When you're paying premium prices, you expect depth of seasoning, proper preparation, and attention to detail -- not cold buffet trays or under-marinated meat. Service was the bright spot of the visit. The staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our meal. Overall, not a terrible experience, but certainly disappointing. With better attention to temperature, flavor development, and consistency, this place could justify its pricing -- but on this visit, it fell short.
