    Chicken till

I have ordered twice through uber eats, chicken biryani. Chicken tikka masala, bitter chicken, Chapli kebab. Each time the food tasted authentic Pakistani food. The second time however it seemed like they forgot to put chicken in butter chicken and chicken tilla masala which was a bit disappointing. But the taste is still good and if you want to turn it down a notch ask for mild and medium spice. For Desi eaters you my ask for regular Desi hotness. Haven't been to the restaurant so cannot really say anything about ambiance. Would recommend ordering even though the chicken swum away ....

    Karachi Special Chaat $6.99

4 stars for some solid Pakistani food! Kabab King offers a buffet on Saturday if you wanna try a little of everything, it's $16.99 pp. We didn't want so much food so we ordered off the regular menu, it's nice that you're still able to order off the menu while they have the buffet. There's a free soda with yelp check-in, I didn't notice until now. Lol. For food we started out with the Karachi Special Chaat, $6.99. It's chick peas with a bunch of Indian style sauces, think plum sauce, mint and the yogurt, topped with fried papdi. So unique, we loved it and use the sauce for our bread. Chapli Kabab was the next thing we tried, $12.99. It was two minced meat patties with pomegranate, on top of white onion on a skillet. It was good but for the price, a side of rice would be nice to accompany it. For bread we got the Afghani bread, $3.99. It's basically similar to naan but has sesame on it. Overall we left feeling satisfied we didn't waste our cheat meal. This place is definitely worth trying if you've never tried Pakistani food! Service was really quick too!

Halal? It's me... I've been wondering if you've tried Pakistani? Credit goes to food critic, Faiyaz Kara, for writing about this hidden gem in Orlando Weekly. Wherever he goes, my stomach follows. Located in a shopping center on OBT in Orlando's "curry corridor". We went on a Saturday afternoon, where they offered a $17 buffet option with plenty of biryani and tandoori options, but wanting less food and looking to try something new we opted to go a la carte. We got the the Karachi special chaat ($6.99) with papdi (fried flour crackers), chickpeas, potato, onion and rice vermicelli, along with yogurt and tamarind chutney, was at once tangy and fiery, and sweet and crunchy. Then the sizzling chapli kebabs ($12.99), fattened patties of seasoned minced beef, crunched with ground coriander and pomegranate seeds. And finally the, sesame-specked drool inducing Afghani naan ($3.99) did us in. This place was amazing, if you're looking to try something new in a chill family friendly atmosphere, definitely go here.

Saw a deal on Groupon so we decided to try this restaurant. Our Togo missing item. Samosa is sour and ended it our trash can. Butter chicken is too sweet. First try at this restaurant and will be last. Will not recommend this place

Beef nihari, chicken kadhai and tandoori naan
    Asma A.

Tried this place for dinner. We ordered chicken karahi, nihari n naan. The food was brought to the table within 10 mins of ordering. Food is decent. But i felt it was a little pricey. They have mentioned an offer on yelp which said one free sofa with purchase. They did not entertain that offer and the counter guy had no idea about that offer.

Food was awesome great place to be in. Great customer service. Good thing they clean washroom. More stars they have prayer room . Nahari was best with tasty Sesame naan. Karachi chat was fresh and they make spicy according to your taste. Pani puri was good too.

I had high hopes walking into Saffron Indian Cuisine on 7724 West Sand Lake Road, Orlando FL…read more especially arriving right at 11:30 a.m. on a Sunday when the doors opened. Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite live up to expectations. My wife chose the buffet, assuming everything would be freshly prepared at opening time. To our surprise, every single item on the buffet line was cold -- from the rice and chicken dishes to the biryani and palak paneer. If a restaurant opens at 11:30, the food should be hot and ready to serve. Cold curries and rice immediately take away from both texture and flavor, and in this case, the dishes tasted flat and lacked the depth of spices you expect from Indian cuisine. Based on this visit, I would recommend skipping the buffet and ordering from the regular menu instead. Buffet selections often feel like the more economical options, and here they were devoid of the bold flavors that make Indian food so memorable. I ordered the chicken biryani from the à la carte menu. It was noticeably better -- aromatic and more flavorful than the buffet items. However, it still missed an important element. Traditionally, biryani is prepared by marinating the chicken and cooking it together with the rice so the spices infuse the meat and every bite is cohesive. In this case, while the rice carried some fragrance, the chicken itself was not well marinated and tasted bland on its own. It felt more assembled than thoughtfully cooked together. Another important point is pricing. The dishes are on the expensive side, and at those prices, the flavors and overall quality should be excellent. When you're paying premium prices, you expect depth of seasoning, proper preparation, and attention to detail -- not cold buffet trays or under-marinated meat. Service was the bright spot of the visit. The staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our meal. Overall, not a terrible experience, but certainly disappointing. With better attention to temperature, flavor development, and consistency, this place could justify its pricing -- but on this visit, it fell short.

The consistently high ratings led me here for lunch and I was not disappointed. The interiors are tastefully modern and welcoming, with plenty of seating and pleasant decor. I started off with the mango lassi (4/5) which was delightfully refreshing without being too sweet. For meals, we went with the paneer makhani (4.5/5), chole bhature (5/5), vegetable malabari (5.5), and butter naan (4.5/5). All the meals were delicious and prepared using high quality ingredients, with no weak spots. I'd rank Bombay Street Kitchen among the top 2 Indian restaurants I've been to in the state (most Indian restaurants I've been to in Florida have been pretty underwhelming and average). Happy to round up my overall rating as service (5/5) was quick and friendly. I look forward to returning to Bombay Street Kitchen and would recommend them to others looking for delicious Indian food in Orlando.

The Lamb Kabobs were excessively oily and badly overcooked. The Bhuna Gosht was mostly bones and fat, and the meat itself was chewy and clearly not properly marinated or slow-cooked to tenderness. The Chicken Chettinad was equally disappointing -- chewy chicken with poor meat quality and lacking authentic flavor. The only highlights of the evening were the cocktails and the Kale Chaat, which were both actually very good. What's most surprising is seeing this restaurant associated with the Michelin Guide despite such inconsistent and substandard food execution. Based on our experience, the kitchen quality simply did not justify the hype or pricing. We ordered the Dal Maharani, and while our waitress asked about spice level, it felt like she made the decision for us. We enjoy spice, but even the first bite was hotter than we expected, and we barely ate any of it despite it being otherwise flavorful. Toward the end, our waitress asked us to leave a review... and then stood there waiting. When my husband said we were still chatting, she kept circling back to check, which felt pretty pushy. Later, when we requested to-go boxes, she said "there is no rush" and then disappeared. We had to ask again. Overall, the food is good and the staff is mostly friendly, but the unexpectedly fiery dal and the slightly overzealous service kept this from being a 5-star experience.

Although the chicken was of decent quality, the gravy was excessively sweet, and the requested "medium spice" option was just an addition of black pepper. It would rank near the bottom of gravy preparations among Indian restaurants back home in New Jersey. The palak paneer (4/5) was tasty and well-liked.
