We had already paid for the work and did not want to pay someone else to finish the job. The air conditioner works great now. However, perhaps it was foolish of us to try engage this company again for another plumbing issue, but after yet another set of weeks of following up and THREE no show appointments we've moved on to another company to do our plumbing work for us. Net - the work is good once finally completed - and good value - but be ready for endless following up and being stood up several times before the project is complete.

The owner himself spoke with me by phone, giving excellent, easy to follow advice on how to stop the leak without incurring the expense of a visit. We left off with an understanding that I'll call back if the leak comes back. No charge for his time and expert advice. Months ago, Garofalo responded right away to replace our water heater, doing a great job; below is our previous review. We highly recommend them! (Previous Review): Fast, reliable and honest. Our water heater failed yesterday, leaking steaming water everywhere. Garofalo arrived at our house rapidly, barely 1/2 hour later. They finished replacing the water heater early this morning, you can't ask for better service than that. My family has relied on Garofalo Plumbing for decades and we highly recommend them.

After agreeing to…read moredo rough plumbing , installation of new fixtures and install of appliances ...it was a series of problems left ame right, Including the guy Matt who works for him that did part of the work. First mistake he installed a 4 way diverter for a shower, tub and shower wand without looking at the entire box of items that were sent to there , after the wall was sheetrocked it was then brought to up to us we needed a 5 way diverter. No attention to detail to notice that there was a shower wand in the box. He put new shutoff valves Under the kitchen sink that leaked for 2 hours that my husband had to try to fix. Also installed new plumbing with two new shutoffs in our bathroom which also had a leak that my husband tried to fix which caused the pipe to spray like a fire hydrant because the shutoffs were not installed properly. Rich charged 30% more than the other plumbers who we got quotes from but we went with him as he was recommended from a friend but the work was shotty and not done right. I would stay away and not let him or anyone who Works under his license do any of the work in your home unless you want damage. I can now see that he has a few 1 stars in his reviews recently and we wish we never hired him: best thing is agreed to install appliances, then said he didn't agree to it so lesson learned get something in writing !!

Property manager for 20 years, so I can give a decent assessment of contractors…read more First, his technical knowledge is superb. He 's multi-generational electrician. His father was an electrician so he grew up learning the trade. He's also been through the NJ apprenticeship program that teaches the correct way to do things. A lot of contractors come from other countries, so they're learning on the job. You want to avoid those. Second, he does great work. Many contractors will show up late but he showed up on time. And you'll find that he's a guy who prides himself on the quality of his product. Third, his prices are fair. He's not a person who's going to rip you off. If you don't believe me, look at the number of reviews. A lot of contractors these days will pay people to write review for them. As a result, you'll see contractors with hundreds of reviews. They are fake. David's reviews are real. If you need an electrician, you can't go wrong with him.

I needed to have a licensed contractor who specializes in roofing, inspect my roof for damage…read more Daniel Overstreet arrived on time and was very pleasant and patient. He did a complete walk through of the interior of my house to assess for any roof leakage and then went right to work on the exterior roof structure. He took several pictures and explained to me that my roof was leaking in several places. He asked if I wanted it repaired right then and there to prevent further damage until I could secure a roof replacement. I agreed and he immediately went back up and repaired any areas that needed it. He explained everything he was going to do and also took pictures of the work finished. He was also very reasonably priced. I had spoken to other companies who provided appraisal services and they were expensive and none of them offered any type of temporary repairs to prevent further damage. I am very happy with the service I received and would recommend this company for this service to anyone who needs it in the future.

Day one, was pretty good, two guys started the job, but were not able to complete in one day. One of the "day one guys" informed me that he doesn't normally work my area, and would not be returning to complete the job. Because it was obvious that he was the most knowledgeable regarding cabinet installation, i callec NIHS to inform them that I was willing to wait until he was available, unless they had someone as knowledgeable. I was informed that they would send someone with matched skills. When they day arrived to complete the job, they sent one of the original guys, who had already admitted that he wasn't very experienced in cabinet installs, and more or less, followed the lead of the experienced guy. The second guy looked like a high school student, so I thought, ok, you cant judge a book by it's cover. However, when the first challenge arose, he had no clue as how to deal with it. He literally just stood there and scratched his head. He really didn't have a clue!! Well the inexperienced cabinet guy had to take charge, and I will let the pictures speak for the work.
