The shop is very clean and John is a nice guy. I have been customer for some time now and I would advise people to do research before deciding to do some work there. For example recently I got a job done to my car in Hondeville for around 680 dlls. Once I got back home I called 2 other shops announced in Craigslist and they were asking 350 and 400 dlls for same job. I feel I been rip off. Well, there isn't much more to say about John that hasn't been said already! His shop is extremely clean and organized. As two of my friends recommended him, I took my Element in for a routine oil change on my lunch hour. I was in and out and it cost me less than what the big name guys charge (they usually screw things up, too! Like using the wrong screw on my oil pan / leaving the screw loose, hand-removal loose). The oil change was quick and he informed me my dealership put in the wrong oil for my hybrid. He gave me a special discount on the correct oil since it wasn't my fault and labor was good price too. I would send my Mom to Hondaville to have her Civic worked on. This should say everything one needs to know about this business. I was looking for an alternative to the local dealer and came across Hondaville on Yelp. After talking with John a couple of times, he was always polite and answered all my questions, I finally made an appointment to bring my Pilot in. I had a major service performed, timing belt, water pump, tensioner and spark plugs. The motor mount was also bad so they replaced this as well. I agree with reviewers that say about the folks at the shop being nice and helpful. I also found their prices to be reasonable, except for the $245 they charged me (I have the receipt in case anyone wants to see it) for new front rotors for an Accord that cost $100 for premium rotors at Napa Auto parts and what I got was much lower in quality. Where they really fall short is the quality of the brake pads used on my Honda. My wife and I brought our car in to have the brakes done awhile back. They wore out pretty quickly as compared to the original pad that came with the car. I would say about 2.5-3 times as fast. Recently took to another shop with a 5 star review. They were about 5% higher in price but they use high quality parts. I realized the cheap brake job parts actually cost me much more in the long run because I have to bring it back for replacement 2-3 times sooner and service costs much, much more than the part. That's how shops like this make their money. So, my advice is insist on a quality brand or OEM part, buy the part yourself and ask them how much to put it on, and finally if you use their part ask for the box so you know you actually got it and know what it is. I learned you get what you pay for and in the long run inexpensive and nice doesn't necessarily mean long-term savings or less headache. read more

This is a great shop. I came in to get a pre-purchase inspection and they waived me right into a spot on a lift as I drove in. John is the main person there. John and his staff were thorough and extremely professional throughout. John told me what he found wrong and how much it would cost to fix. His prices are more than fair and, as the other reviewers say, he really goes the extra mile for the customer. Here's one example: after they used the air gun to put the tires back on, they hand tightened all the wheel lugs with a torque wrench and checked the tire pressure to make sure it was exactly right. I've never seen another shop check the lug nuts with a torque wrench, and it wasn't even my car yet. All in all, a great shop to put your car and trust in! read more

These guys are so honest! Brought my CR-V in because the brakes were making a weird noise one day. When I brought it to them the brakes had already stopped making the noise, but I wanted to get it checked out anyway since, you know, brakes are important. Nice shop, everything was clean and organized and all the guys were really nice when I dropped off and picked up. They called me back within an hour of the dropoff to let me know that the brakes were fine and had tons of miles left on them. They didn't try to upsell me for any services I didn't need, and since they didn't find anything wrong with it, they didn't even charge me for taking a look at the car!
