We had a very shaky toilet that another plumber "fixed" 5 months prior. Mike got down to the bottom of the problem and gave me updates on what he was finding every step of the way. There were some major issues that needed to be fixed and Mike did not take any shortcuts, he was very transparent from start to finish. Our flange was rotted and Mike removed the broken flange put in a new flange set in concrete. He put in a new toilet and sealed it with silicone. We were charged $145 and hour + the price of supplies. It was worth every cent to know that everything was done properly this time around.

I would definitely recommend Mike and his Company.

For example, they installed a free-standing tub backwards with the drain exposed to the room, installed a sink that was smashed on one side close to a wall (apparently hoping we would not notice the damaged they caused), and forgot to include parts on three Duravit in-wall toilets that have caused constant leaks. I'm sure there are more plumbing problems in our house that haven't been revealed yet. Our GC (who was awesome) fired them in the middle of the job and replaced them with StraightEdge Plumbing. The StraightEdge team is everything CZ is not - professional, reliable, and knowledgeable.

Also, the cold water stopped working in my shower, making the shower unusable. I lost my husband this year and am never sure about what to do when things go wrong in the house, since I never had to address those problems in the past. I called 1-Tom and they made me feel completely confident about my choice. Right from the start, I liked the fact that they answered the phone and I didn't have to keep pushing buttons to get to the right person. I was told that they stood behind all their work and they would make sure I was satisfied with the outcome. Before Alex came to my home, I received a photo of him. He was confident and friendly and I immediately felt I was in good hands. Originally it looked like it was going to be a bad situation with the toilet and that the floor might have to be torn up. Alex showed me what the problem was and I could now see why the toilet couldn't be installed correctly in the first place. Alex called his boss and discussed what needed to be done. He was able to do it without damaging the floor, which was a huge relief. I trusted that 1-Tom did the best job possible for me while avoiding major repairs. I would definitely use their services again and recommend them to my friends.

This is by far the BIGGEST RIP-OFF in the Hamptons. Engaging with this company is akin to willingly subjecting oneself to notoriously getting "Hamped" (overpaying because you live here). Steve brazenly alters contract terms midstream, leading to exorbitant unexpected charges. Call is company if you wish to drastically overpay for plumbing or HVAC services. Their lack of internal communication between the HVAC and plumbing divisions is appalling. Their work ethic is marred by a series of blunders, which they subsequently exploit by overcharging to rectify their own mistakes. Initial promises are deceitfully simplistic, only to be arbitrarily amended once the fifty percent deposit is paid before the work begins. Look at your proposal and agreement closely because they intentionally leave out details they previously claim will be included in the price. There is no benefit to being loyal to this company and no price break for being a long time customer. I would rather drown in my house than call this company to fix a leak. Reasonable, honest plumber who does excellent work!…read more On June 6, 2026, I was in the Bronx helping a family with a water leak in their nearly 100-year-old house. This review is 1.5 months late because I wanted to be sure that the repairs made by Felip at GME Plumbing held up after he completed the plumbing work. I took pictures and sent them to Felip and he provided a reasonable estimate which included parts and labor, so we hired him. Felip and his helper did excellent work, left the place clean, and took away the rubbish. We paid the price in his estimate; there were no surprise extra charges. He 1) Repaired a leaking shower, replaced seat of valve with a special tool. Two previous plumbers only changed the washers and the leaks never stopped. 2) Replaced washing machine valves located behind shower wall. 3) Removed an old leaky toilet and replaced it with a new toilet. It's been over a month since the repairs were completed and there have been no leaks. The water bill is 40% less because of the repairs Felip made. We are very happy with Felip's work and will definitely use him again should we have further plumbing issues.
