When I opened my pool, it wasn't in great shape--cloudy water and debris buildup. Instead of just handling everything and moving on or trying to upsell services, Anthony took the time to walk me through what was going on and how to fix it. What really meant the most is that he actually taught me how to maintain my pool. He didn't have to do that--he could've easily kept things surface-level so I'd keep calling him--but he chose to explain filtration, cleaning, and the entire process in a way that actually made sense. Because of that, I feel much more confident managing things myself now. He even encouraged me to try vacuuming it myself instead of paying for extra service, because he didn't want me wasting money unnecessarily. That kind of honesty and friendliness is rare. He replaced the multiport got his money and left never telling me that the part was defective and didn't backwash or rinse? So I called and emailed and said you have to make this right, then I'm told it's defective and I need to return it. I call the company that made the part and they called Mike and told them to replace it. They scheduled to come out that following Friday and I confirmed that they would be there on Thursday. Again he failed to call or show up as scheduled, I hired another company to come out and look at the multiport and that's when it was found that the port wasn't defective it was installed improperly the return was were the intake should have been, needless to say I would not recommend them.

I'm out $20K now which I don't have and won't have. The pool looks like it has a disease, it's unsightly and dangerous. Cut my finger open on the sharp pebbles last season. The other job was a deck refresh from wood to composite. He showed up to do the job not knowing how. He apologized, said he didn't want to disappoint me, and called his father, a retired contractor over to help. His father spent weeks on what should have been a few day project. Turns out, he'd never did this particular type of job either. I never asked this contractor for references because he'd been my trusted pool guy for a while. I highly recommend asking for referrals whether or not you have a relationship with that individual. You may well be the next guinea pig. Fake it til you make it is what they call this maneuver.
