This will not be an unbiased review. Alan has become a friend, and as a fellow service brother I…read moretend to look through rose colored glasses. When I owned a restoration business I would cross paths with Alan and his team. I witnessed their work prior to perceiving a friendship, and it was always supervised, and the highest quality. As with my business related experience in this area, I would often match my work against theirs, and there is a starkly obvious reason I'm not a plumber. There have now been two occasions I have hired All Types, and both were in somewhat of a disaster recovery scenarios, and I almost never hire folks for jobs I believe that I might do. Both times they saved my bacon, responded incredibly quickly to my needs, and left me in a perfectly functional state. I not only recommend them for the quality of their work, but for the quality of their staff, and increasingly for their professionalism and small provider feel during this rapid growth spurt.

Too much information to lay out. Completely disgusted with this company! They are dishonest,…read moreunprofessional, disorganized. We had work preformed on our toilet and a stuck shut off valve, only to be presented with two flooding issues. First one resolved and cleaned up by ourself and not the tech. 2nd flooding incident, caused damage to our basement wall, ceiling and carpet. After being to the companies attention only to be told that there is no paper trail of their tech working on the stuck valve and that he "forgot" to add it on there. After an entire day of trying to resolve the issue and finally getting the owner to give us a call, just to be completely unprofessional, disrespectful and end the phone call with we're not taking responsibility and hanging up. Complete embarrassment of a company, a joke at best, lousy ownership and office personnel! Shame on you!

Scott Hale Plumbing Heating & Air

I've been a Scott Hale customer for many years now. They've done many jobs for me and they also…read morereplaced my water heater, furnace and AC unit when they conked out. The old furnace went out the day before Thanksgiving one year, and they had a new one installed and running the same day. I appreciate the employees who have provided good service over the years. In the beginning I referred friends to SH, saying they are not necessarily cheap but they do good work. (Looking back, I realize however that I overpaid for the new water heater and other some other major expenses, I was just naïve and didn't do due diligence. More about overcharging below.) That being said, I've given up on SH. Too often my encounters with its employees go wrong. The person they send may or may not have experience with my issue, and they never ask for help from other employes. One recommended I have a new air intake installed (he came twice and couldn't get rid of the awful noise) and when I finally got a different guy over, he fixed the whistling noise just by recaulking the area; it was gone in minutes. Another guy made excuses for the (unsupervised) people who ripped up large patches of drywall because they didn't know to go through an interior wall; SH paid for the extra drywall repairs, which I appreciated. Another guy freaked out about the "sewage" he imagined must be under the board beneath my sink (there was none). Another couldn't tolerate me saying that I had never had a leaky condensation pipe until they replaced the AC. My 10+ years in my home meant nothing, and this is consistent: many times the repairmen will not give credence to anything I say, and however neutrally I state it, react as if I'm challenging them in some way. The latest incident is the $1800 estimate for replacing my kitchen sink (labor only). The guy said it would take 2-3 hours to remove the old sink (!!) and added that he would "cap the pipes" so I wouldn't lose water to the rest of house. I mean, there's upselling and then there's just BS. The plumber I hired removed the old sink in 20 mins and is charging a few hundred dollars for the whole job (including installing the new one). And of course the water to the house didn't have to be shut off, there are valves right under the sink. I'm really appalled they would just...lie.

I have always loved scott Hill. They have done so many things for us…read more And we've been extremely happy. However, I was trying to get them to answer their phones and had an AI clerk keep recycling me through AI They asked me what I wanted. I said supervisor they said hang on. We'll connect you and then they connect me back to the AI where I had to go through it all again so I said supervisor so again they took me back to AI.! I could not get through Then I found a number for them to call a 801305.... Can't remember the rest of it and that was an entirely different By the time I got through, I was thinking I honestly don't need this kind of aggravation at 81 years old Luckily, I made an appointment. They finally texted and came out at four. Travis was excellent. He was extremely extremely knowledgeable and I appreciate him! As it turned out the problems I had with my toilet can all be done if they pull the toilet out and I could not afford that so I will live with the running of the water for a while But be that as it may take care of your AI system because if it happens again, I will have to go somewhere else I hate to do it because you've always been very good so five points for Travis and 1 point for your AI system

After cleaning the vents and dryer and full dryer troubleshooting, we contacted At Your Service Pros (kudos to the Costco-dispatched tech for noticing the extremely hot circuit breaker). At Your Service was very flexible on appointment times, and one of their techs, Kyle, came out to service the home. Kyle reproduced and diagnosed the issue to the circuit breaker. Not only did he fix the circuit breaker, but he also noticed some of the wiring needed to be placed at the service panel, which he did as well. He also checked the other breakers while he was out there and made sure the dryer outlet was okay. Lo and behold, the dryer works perfectly now. Thanks Kyle and At Your Service for getting this issue fixed and for taking a larger look at the panel to make sure things look okay. I appreciate Kyle was on time and that the service was professional and efficient.

It's based solely on the booking process. I was able to book an appointment on Sunday for Monday morning, but they called early Monday and said they couldn't make it until Tuesday. That caused me to miss out on other companies that had Monday availability and wasted valuable time on something we needed done as soon as possible. They need to get their scheduling system figured out.
