I had a plumbing issue that was started a month ago. They were to replace the shower due to a leak and toilets for my autistic son with a seat. The shower was not ordered on time neither is the door to shower and neither was the seat for my son. The job was supposed to be completed last week then this week now it's going to be next week and the water pressure sucks now they put a new water regulator in. Spoke with the Plumbing Manager who did not help resolve the issue nor offer me a discount when i have been a member over a year. You just lost my busine as well as my neighbors around me i assure you since this is how members who pay a month fee be treated! read more

I called and ask for an estimate on a garbage disposal (ONLY) . . . After a lengthy inspection under my house (I did not ask for), he came back and gave me an estimate for: Option 1: $10,836.25 (install waterlines throughout home, install disposal, flush water heater and replace anode rod. 2 yr warranty Option 2: $ 6,367.22 (install new water line meter to house 5 yr warranty $6,367.22 Option 3: amounted to $1,226.31 plus $1,127.16 plus $632,98 plus $593.05 There was not option just to replace my garbage disposal. I told him to get out and never return. Why are these people given a great rating???? read more

Wanted thousands for a relatively simple job. Hired someone else. He did it in a few hours for 1k.

I specifically called Hometown Plumbing and was told that dishwashers were the only appliance they work on. Based on that, I scheduled a service call. The technician came out, didn't even attempt to look at or diagnose the dishwasher, and instead immediately tried to sell me a brand new unit. No troubleshooting, no repair effort--nothing. To make matters worse, I was still charged a $39 service fee for what was essentially a sales call. Very misleading and extremely disappointing. I will not be using them again. read more

Mike and partner installed a chrome vanity light and somehow warped and scratched the face plate. I will update the information depending on the outcome with the company. Oct 28,2025 Here is my updated information. Hometown Plumbing, Electrical & HVAC did not fix my vanity light, but Bob owner of Kinectic Electric replaced the vanity light on his dime to make up for the inexperience crew working for Hometown. I have had Kinectic Electric do several jobs for me in the past. He has always been very professional and reasonable on his estimates. Highly recommend Kinectic Electric, 423-341-9601. read more

They collected a deposit for a future job. When I contacted them to cancel the job they promised to return my money. This was in October 2025. I still have not received my deposit. I called to inquire about my refund. I was informed the refund has already been sent in 10/25. I looked through all of my transactions since September 2025 and no refunds have been made. They should be ashamed for stealing from the elderly and disabled veterans. read more

Austin James from Hometown Plumbing provided plumbing services at my home earlier today. He was very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and accommodating. He showed up on time. This service will be on my "keep" list. read more

Mike was the first one here today for yearly electrical checkup. He was very professional, polite and easy to talk with. He explained everything well and suggested a whole house surge protection -- I had been thinking about that since my electric box was struck by lightning the night before I bought the house in 2024 and a new box was put in. So Mike schedule that and it will be done next week! I'm so happy with Mike and this company! Such good work and professionalism! read more

These bas tards tried to screw an elderly friend out of $15,000 in unnecessary repairs! They told her that her house (that was built in 2009) was not up to code, illegal, and close to burning down. All BS! Even if she needed the repairs they tried to scare her into paying for, it would have been way less than $5,000 from any decent independent electrician. They did manage to get almost $200 from her to simply adjust the stop screw on her toilet fill valve while they were there. I just hope and pray that there's a very special place in #ell for people like this that prey on the elderly! Absolutely despicable! And I dare them to call this slander. I have copies of the quotes and pics of the items they tried to convince her to replace. These guys only have 3 stars. They don't even deserve 1! If she doesn't get her ENTIRE deposit back, I'll be her expert witness in small claims court and even pay her court costs! I've never been so disgusted in my life! read more

I called them back to let them fix the same problem they were supposed to fix on Friday and they left today (Monday) still leaking and said they didn't have the kit I needed. $3400 later and I need to call another plumber in. I will be reporting to BBB today! read more

I want to tell people how good everything was from Hometown Plumbing starting with my call. I was met with a friendly and courteous voice that was genuinely interested in helping me. She set a service call up to meet my schedule and confirmed it via email and text. A technician (Anakin) showed up at the promised time and asked a few questions in order to get to the source of my problem not just fix the problem. He then put the pricing with options in front of me to choose from. I chose my option and he got to work with no pesky upsetting. He used quality and OEM parts for the repairs. I paid with a CC and he was on his way after double checking his work. This rech and this routine is THE business model that owners should emulate. Please give this guy all of the raises. He deserves it! Thank you Hometown. Shout out to Taylor as well. She stayed in cintact until my priblem was resolved. Great team at Hometown. read more

We placed a call to them on a Sunday afternoon, they sent Ben over and he worked for several hours to fix our backed up pipes. Ben ended up coming back and worked for 2 more days tirelessly completely redoing our plumbing system. The previous contractor did a horrible job running the pipes for the sewage, so Ben completely re-did everything that needed correction. He also installed a new laundry connection for us up stairs. Thank you so much Ben for your hard work and professionalism. We will definitely be calling you again if the need arises. Andy & Andrea read more

Would definitely not recommend, they try and charge you for incomplete work. They charge a $39 service and if they can not resolve your issue they try to charge you for the entire job! There are better services and value in the area! Very unprofessional ! read more

Great service! After my water line broke, Austin and Dominick installed a whole new water line from my water meter to my house, and they did a very good job. They were also very friendly and accommodating. They even went above and beyond the call of duty by uncovering my outside faucet that had gotten buried underground and checking the water hookup to my washer. A.J. was also terrific when he came out and assessed the job that needed to be done, and he even sent me a postcard thanking me for my patronage. I would definitely recommend Hometown Plumbing for all your plumbing needs. read more

What a great company! They were very professional, showed up when they said they would, and did the work they said they would. Cleaned up after themselves and got us back to normal very fast! Thank you for such a great experience!!! read more

The best Plumbers ever! Great fast service. Chad and Austin know what their doing. Fixed our dishwasher issue in five minutes. Polite on time and are terrific plumbers! Highly recommend! read more

They charged $298.17 to install a new toilet which I purchased and supplied eight weeks ago. In addition to the $39 service fee they also charged $104.67 to raise and repair the flange. After the work was done, I contacted two other local plumbers and was quoted $99 by one and $109 by the other to install a new toilet. Hindsight is 20-20. I'm sorry I did not do more research before i hired Hometown Plumbing. read more

I hired hometown plumbing to install three bathroom faucets after having granite countertops installed. when the tech arrived he was polite but went to the truck to write up a ridiculous quote. I was in desperate need of getting these installed before I left town. He came back with a quote of just under 800.00. I asked if that was after my military discount and he said yes. I had no choice at that point. And then after he finished he tries to up sale a membership? They can talk all day about being professional all day but these guys are highway robbery. There is not a single explanation the owner can give to justify 3 faucet installations for 800.00 and want me to purchase a membership. Live and Learn I guess. read more

The worst plumbing experience I have ever had. Nothing but sell, sell, sell all kinds of part replacements you don't need and aren't broken. Then to top it off, they charge 3 times as much as other plumbers for the same job. Sorry, but don't trust a company that directs their employees to push upsells from the getgo. I just need my toilet fixed. Not $5K of unnecessary repairs. read more

Best plumbing company! They are the only ones I trust to get the job done. We hired a different company and they were late and overcharged. Hometown Plumbing is upfront about pricing and the labor. They also call an hour before getting to the house so we are prepared. Also the receptionist is so helpful and nice! I will only use them from now on. We have used them multiple times in the past! read more

I cannot say enough good about this company. Megan called me back within a few minutes and had a plumber at my house within 2 hours to fix a broken water pipe. Chad arrived promptly, he showed us pictures of the damage, and he completed the work in about an hour. Their fee was more than reasonable. We were so impressed that we now have them for a maintenance program and have given their name to several friends. I highly recommend them for all your plumbing needs. read more
