He started commenting on things in her home, saying her new TV was nice and somebody could sell it for "a lot" of money. He then told her his electric bill was overdue and he did not have heat, and because she felt uncomfortable (threatened), she paid his electric bill on her credit card. She also wrote a check for $340 to his wife, Kimberly Mays, because he "couldn't wait for the insurance." Obviously, I recommend you find another plumber in the Tri-Cities, TN area. UPDATE: 18 DEC 2019 - Bobby Mays visited my sister again, and managed to get $200 in cash from her. When they came back a third time, she did not answer the door. AND, I found out they did NOT complete the job, but made the situation worse. She has hired a new plumber who stated the previous work on her pipes made the situation worse, and all he can do now is to fix it.

Contacted my regular plumber (not Cox) and found out he was out of town on vacation. Finally called Cox after 5 pm. Was pleasantly surprised when he answered the phone. He had other jobs already scheduled but was able to come by on Sunday afternoon. (I had shut off everything I could think of so the leak had stopped. Was afraid it was the toilet by the kitchen.) He was able to arrive an hour earlier than he expected which was great. Long store short... he was able to diagnose the actual problem (wasn't the toilet) and the issue was resolved. Very professional, very knowledgeable, very personable. Nice guy and the cost was actually less than I expected for an emergency weekend plumbing call. Hope I never need a plumber again but I would definitely use Cox Plumbing again.
