These guys provided outstanding customer service, Matt came out to provide a quote he was punctual, professional and friendly. The price is very fair. I believe Don and Bryan were the technicians that came out to the house to clean the carpets. They too were very polite, professional and punctual. I appreciated the extra care given to protect the corners of our walls and the added protection to the furniture that had not been moved to insure it didn't get wet. After they had finished and left for the day my wife felt that high traffic areas could have looked better. She called Matt relayed her concerns, Matt understood, and had the crew come back the next day to clean those areas again. The same crew came out were very courteous and addressed our concerns, thoroughly cleaning the high traffic areas again. The carpet looks great! I would highly recommend Hometown Carpet Care for the professionalism and 5 star customer service. read more

Matt and his team went above and beyond. Matt responded to my request within a few minutes and was able to accommodate my timeline. Easy to communicate with, reasonably priced (they traveled from Lompoc to Santa Maria), and they were quick (only 1 hour for a one bedroom apt plus they cleaned the linoleum in my kitchen) and did a great job. Needed the carpets cleaned at the apartment I was vacating, and they ended up cleaning not only once, but twice (just to appease my difficult landlord!). Definitely recommend these guys!! read more

My neighbor recommended Hometown Carpet Care. I called the number - a bit hesitant, because I had a real problem. Most my floors are tile. But when my health took a real turn for the worse and the doctor told me I had severe asthma, I knew I needed some major help because my bedroom floor is wall to wall carpet. Yes, I want to remove the carpet and install tile, but I won't be able to do that immediately. In the meantime, I was hopeful that professional carpet cleaning, dusting and room reorganization would make a big difference. I didn't want to just shampoo around the furniture. I wanted everything out of the room- a small bedroom full of furniture - including a massive 1940's bedroom set. Everything that had to be moved out was very heavy. When I called Hometown Carpet Care and spoke with the owner, Matt, I explained what was going on health wise for me and what I needed. He set up two days - one to move things out of the room and shampoo the carpet, and another day to put everything back after the carpet was dry. When Donald and Brian came to my front door on the morning of day one, I had to go outside to talk to them, because over the weekend, my daughter had carried things from my closet out into the dining area. This brought dust (which had been resting quietly in the confines of my small closet) throughout the front part of my house. While I stayed in the family room, Don and Brian tackled the project head on. I could hear them interacting with each other as they moved furniture into the living room. You could tell that they are both such good people! I At the end of the day, I texted Matt and told him how wonderful his crew was. I told him that his guys worked hard, worked, smart, and worked happy! But I also told him that after I tried to go back into the living room to vacuum the dusty backsides of the furniture, I found myself running for a rescue inhaler. I told him I would of course expect to be billed for these extra services, but would he be willing have his guys vacuum and wipe off the furniture? I also asked if they could shampoo the family room area rug and furniture in there when they came back for day two. His response? "We really care about people. We are here to help. We'll get it all taken care of for you." I felt such an immense feeling of relief and comfort! At the end of day two, all that massive furniture was back in my bedroom, placed exactly right where I wanted it - and I can slowly sort through my closet items to determine what goes back or finds another home. Hometown Carpet Care. The price was fair; The service was extraordinary. Bless them! They not only carpet care - they PEOPLE care! - and they can quote me on that! read more
