In the "old days", we could have probably done it ourselves, but when your bones start to creak from getting in and out of bed, it's time to call for reinforcements. We interviewed a bunch of places and chose to go with Joe, the owner, and his crew at J&E Cleaning. The first time they cleaned our house of 1894 square feet, Joe accompanied his people and worked alongside them. The next 2 visits (we're on an every other Thursday schedule), Joe came by to make sure everything was going well. The crew serving us has 3 or 4 fairly young women who seem to specialize in different aspects of cleaning. They're quite effective, efficient, friendly and usually get the job done in less than an hour and a half. Joe's wife participates with the crew about half the time. The cost for this bi-weekly cleaning is $130 per visit. J&E has been very flexible with our schedule and gets in touch with us if they need to make an adjustment. Our Realtor said we should get our house thoroughly cleaned, especially the bathrooms and carpets and windows. It's a fairly large house. J+E did such a fantastic job the Realtor and us were blown away! The price was much less than we expected. Plus, they discovered some cupboard doors that had years of water stains on them, and they did a great job restoring them! They arrived right on time and finished right on time. Literally the best! Called yesterday to receive a quote for a clean up and carpet cleaning for my new home and Joe was available to give a quote three hours after the phone call. After that, he offered such a wonderful price we had to go with his services which he was able to do the following day! (Today!) The home my boyfriend purchased was very dirty and the carpets were in pretty bad shape. Joe as his staff took the time to not just attempt to clean the carpets once, not even twice... three times! He attempted to get those terrible stains and nasty odors out of our carpet three times! The toilet in the guest restroom and both bathtubs were disgusting we refused to use it. They are now disinfected, clean and definitely usable! The bathtubs and our oven now appear to be in the "never been touched" kind of quality. We loved the effort, and quality this business did for our newly purchased home. Mira and her team are THE best around! No joke. They are so thorough.... we have two dogs and a cat, and pet hair is no joke around here. They get every nook and cranny clean. They fluff and straighten your sofas and chairs, dust lampshades and door moldings, scrub toilets, sinks, showers and tubs. Our place smells amazing and absolutely sparkles after they leave. Best part is she works with a team of three girls and they knock out our house fairly quickly, so you aren't waiting around all day for them to finish. Worth every single penny. read more

Would not use them again. Said they had a team of 3-4 people, but only 2 showed up. They did not dust very well, did not straighten up, did not vacuum the rugs, missed doing some of the stuff they said they would do, then complained about my cat being in their way and said they would not be back to clean.
