I gave her the receipt from that shop and she made a copy of it. To say that they were not initially aware of this is false. I also followed what my triple AAA representative recommended in this situation, and due to the circumstances surrounding the service with the prior shop, they recommended I be towed to the nearest Triple AAA approved shop - which was Blystone's. The very nice receptionist Yolanda did tell me that the shop is very busy and the diagnosis could take up to 2 weeks. It is the fact that after two weeks I was not told an update in timing, I was told to "TOW IT SOMEWHERE ELSE." That is a direct quote, not a dramatization. I was also asked why I didn't tow it back where it came from, afterwards. If Blystone's never intended to "get to it", they could've have been up front about that before my car sat there for two weeks. Busyness is not an excuse for poor communication. Being up front about this situation initially would've saved both of us the trouble. No excuses.

He went above and beyond calling me at 10am telling me, he would possibly have it fixed that day but I should get one more day. 7pm rolls around and my truck is fixed and I'm back on my way home. My husband and I had car trouble while vacationing with our small children in Wisconsin Dells. My…read morehusband called to see if Don Larson Chevrolet could look at our 2013 Equinox. We inquired about a rental car and we were told, yes they have them available, but on a first come first serve basis. Not an issue, we made sure to get there early. My husband was told he would receive a phone call letting us know what the status of our vehicle was, or when it would be done. Finally, he called them when we had not received a call to see if our Equinox was ready. The service manager, the man my husband spoke to on the phone, was great. Helpful, friendly, told us the car was ready and to come pick it up. When my husband went into exchange our car for the rental, the man at the desk started flipping out, asking who called him to say it was ready, and stating he had none of the paperwork. Once the service manager finished with the customer he was with, he let the other man know he had spoken to my husband and told him the car was done. This guy did a full check on the rental car. We were told it needed to be returned with a full tank of gas, which we did provide. We filled the tank 10 miles away from the dealership on our way back to exchange the cars. My husband was told it was not full and we would be charged a fee if he didn't go and fill the tank. He put in another $1.32! This entire issue with the vehicle was covered by our GM Warranty. Had it not been for the unprofessional service we received when we went to pick up our car, I would have given this dealership more stars. It is true...one (person's bad service to customers) can ruin the good service everyone else gives.

Over the last 6 months we have had nothing but problems with Sullivans. It used to be our one and…read moreonly go-to but apparently the new ownership wasn't as great as we'd thought. Questions are given the runaround and when we bring our car in for something, they'll say it's something else that needs work. A week later we had to bring it in for the original problem and it is miraculously found and needs to be fixed for an outrageous price. The cost ended up being so much for so little to be fixed that we literally are selling the car for scrap. Other mechanics agreed. We'll be going elsewhere from now on.
