Sullivan's has always taken good care of our family's vehicles! They are so friendly, upfront, and accommodating. Over the last 6 months we have had nothing but problems with Sullivans. It used to be our one and only go-to but apparently the new ownership wasn't as great as we'd thought. Questions are given the runaround and when we bring our car in for something, they'll say it's something else that needs work. A week later we had to bring it in for the original problem and it is miraculously found and needs to be fixed for an outrageous price. The cost ended up being so much for so little to be fixed that we literally are selling the car for scrap. Other mechanics agreed. We'll be going elsewhere from now on. read more

I was quoted 60-70 from two different people for an oil change and look over, but was given a bill with a grand total of 120. Apparently there's labor on the bill too. Don't let them do the same to you! read more

Just picked up my BMW from Sullivans after paying $2,069.36 for them to replace the Oil cooler, Oil filter Housing and do a flush of my radiator fluid. When i brought the car in i was specific about the hood cable was stretched so to be careful opening the hood. They ended up breaking the hood latch handle and bracket. The inside of my car seat and elbow rest had oil all over it and they scratched my hood and cracked my front bumper kidney grill cover. After speaking to Dave Nelson the new owner, he said it may have happened at the car wash when they took it there and to talk to the car wash owner. He then said to get an estimate. I have been using Sullivans since 2005 when Glenn owned it and have spent Thousands on my cars. The way Dave Nelson handled this was very unprofessional and I will no longer be bringing my cars there for service. You should also be aware that Sullivans marks their auto parts up by 50%! They gave me the old box with the replaced oil filter housing in it and oil cooler with the parts number on the box. I looked up the part on FCP Euro where they ordered the parts and Im posting pictures of those parts and cost. Id also like to add that the only problem with my oil filter housing was a bad gasket but they wanted to replace it and mark the parts up and charge for labor to make a profit. Talk about a predatory business. I did a leak test on the oil filter housing and there were no cracks in it except for a bad gasket...Picture shown. I could have done all this work for around $150 for both gaskets for the oil filter housing and oil cooler and anti freeze and they charged me $2,069.36! After speaking with Dave sullivan about the broken hood release handle and bracket he said they could fix it for $720.00....after they broke it! I am very disappointed in this company! We had high hopes, but unfortunately, after we picked up our vehicle after getting new breaks, there had been damage on the side of the car that was not there beforehand. They had our car for 2 days longer than initially estimated and took zero accountability for the damage. I would not trust them, they don't have cameras on site (apparently). We will not be giving them any more of our business. read more

They fixed my Audi better than the dealerships did. After spending $1500 at a dealership for an overheating issue, they diagnosed it to be a head gasket and even got the head remilled, with a two year warranty on the engine. Good pricing, especially as far as foreign car fixed go. Side note: the car got t-boned a week later and the owner even called my insurance company to get me a better settlement by describing the work he did. They may be a little more pricey than my old mechanic, but you pay for what you get, and I get fantastic service. read more

Sullivans Two Unltd seemed like a good choice for a car repair. The shop appeared to be in order, and it has been at the same location for awhile. Since the nearest dealership service for my Toyota involved a trip to Madison, I thought it might be a good choice. The car was running a little rough, and I thought it might benefit from a tune-up and an oil change. When I dropped the car off, I felt as if the receptionist in front was a little strange, but I just ignored that. I probably shouldn't have. $300 later, the car was returned to me. If it wasn't for the bundle of wires someone yanked out beneath my steering wheel, I would swear that no one did ANYTHING to the car. Not even one week later my car quit on a busy highway, and I had it towed to a different facility. According to that mechanic, the prior repair was not even finished before the car was returned to me! I am not suggesting that every car go to the dealership for service, and I am not even recommending another repair shop, just AVOID this one. Look in the Yellow Pages for the selection of local repair providers, and take your pick. I'm sure there are many competent and professional choices. Pick one of those. You'll thank God you did. read more

Needed to Bi-Xenon bulbs changed on a 2006 VW Passat. Was charged over $320 for labor since I had the parts already. Called Zimbrick VW of Madison and their rate for the job was $180 or less and called Fillback Ford of Richland Center, who doesn't even specialize in Imports, and their rate would had been $210. Completely ripped off and will never be back again. So much for trying to stay local!!! Will be reporting to BBB for unbelievable charges!!!!!!! Also, when I asked before dropping off vehicle how much it would cost the lady said she didn't know because it depended how much they had to take off to get to the bulbs.... they didn't have to take the car apart, Zimbrick explained what needed to be done and it wasn't that much if you specialize in Imports! read more

Sullivans has serviced our cars for at least 25 years. They are like doctors for your cars. We feel like they have always gone above and beyond for us. One time I was way up north and lost my transmission. They -- after hours -- helped me get my car repaired by another shop! Amazing service. read more

This is a great, reliable and trustworthy auto specialist. I just moved to the Baraboo area and was recommended to Sullivans Two from a friend. I had a minor issue with my exhaust heat panel coming loose and took my car to Sullivans to have it looked at. I was a walk-in and waited maybe 5 min prior to someone looking at my car. Glenn was the mechanic that took a look at my car and tightened my heat panel as well as checked my fluids and put air in my tires-All at no cost! Coming from a big city I was shocked as everything comes with a price tag. It was a very nice gesture and not expected. Sullivans and Glenn defiantly exceeded my expectations! I will 100% go back and highly recommend them. read more
